In fact, Black Dragons are not prone to exposing their Inverse Scales willingly because protecting this scale is an instinctive behavior for them.
Even in death, a Black Dragon usually cannot unleash this powerful skill. It was only because Du You had taken control and intentionally exposed the Inverse Scale to et the enemy’s attack head-on. "Of course not, it’s not worth it. Killing them doesn’t have many benefits, and it might expose our presence prematurely. We’ve done well on this mission. The Black Dragon took care of the enemy itself, so there won’t be any Dragons exposing us."
Another reason, of course, was that there was simply no benefit. This was a prayer mission, and there would be no treasure chests as rewards, nor would any items drop. In a normal world, Du You would have been able to secure quite a haul of good stuff.
Now, he could only aim to enhance his bloodline. Du You could feel his bloodline boiling, yet it still hadn’t reached tier five. Although the enemy was a Black Dragon, highly compatible with himself, the power generated from defeating it had only pushed his bloodline close to tier five. In the following day, Du You did not waste any ti; instead, he flew straight back to the Green Dragon King’s territory. He then resud his previous actions. Having ascertained the location of the Earth Dragon Legion, Du You began his silent slaughter.
There were as many as seven Earth Dragon Legions in the Green Dragon King’s domain. The problem was, similar to the Black Dragon King’s Earth Dragon Legion, they were located in a remote area with little communication between them. Even if they were wiped out, no one would believe it. As a result, the Earth Dragon Legions were quietly dealt with one by one by Du You and the sisters, turning into Demon Extermination Spirits and Demonic Fla Skeletons.
"That’s enough, let’s gather up. In one day, at the sa ti, we’ll set out toward the Central High Mountain region."
Du You and Lin Yushi issued orders to their Demonic Fla Skeletons and Demon Extermination Spirits, then left them to their own devices.
By the ti the three of them arrived at the central region, they finally felt the presence of the Green Dragon King from a distance. The Green Dragon King, just like the Black Dragon King, was also a peak tier-five mber of the Dragon Clan.
There was only one other dragon nearby that had reached tier five, but it was weaker than the one at the Black Dragon King’s side.

The only other tier-five Green Dragon, which sounded to be female, flew over, eyeing the approaching Dark Giant Dragon with a proud and wary look.
This wariness wasn’t due to a fear of attack from the Black Dragon, but rather the concern that the Black Dragon’s status could rise and suppress that of the Green Dragons.
Unexpectedly, the Black Dragon flew straight toward the Green Dragon without dodging or saying a word. Before the Green Dragon could even ask anything, the Black Dragon suddenly bit its neck. This incited anger among the surrounding Green Dragons.
"What are you doing? Dammit, this is a provocation against us!"
The nearby Green Dragons spat out Dragon Breath or cast magic spells, but the Dark Giant Dragon paid them no heed. The dragons were too weak to hurt it. The Dark Giant Dragon bit down hard, breaking the neck of the Green Dragon before it.
Although the Green Dragon wouldn’t die imdiately from such a severe injury, without any surprises, it wouldn’t live much longer. The leader of the esteed Green Dragon Legion had never before been treated in such a manner.
Seeing that their opponent was completely indifferent, the Green Dragon felt even more suffocated. Feeling the life and strength draining away, its eyes slowly began to dim. But the Dark Giant Dragon had no intention of letting go and, with a claw, stabbed into the Green Dragon’s Inverse Scale, crushing its heart. Now, even if it were a Green Dragon, it was as dead as dead could be.
