Wasp formally welcod to the World of Martial Arts after realizing I had reached the Second Stage, becoming a Martial Master.
"Welco to Martial Mastery, young lady. What you're seeing now is my Heart Essence, part of the Consciousness that one can develop and cultivate."
"...!" I looked in disbelief. "I had no idea such power existed...! Heart Essence?!"
"Yes, welco to our world, young lady... the world of Intent," he said with a proud smile. "Well done! Truly... well done!"
I felt strange.
As if this entire ti, I had been living inside a shell.
And now, I was finally breaking out of that shell.
And stepping into the true realm of those whom I had always fought foolishly.
"You were once a fool, an ignorant child," he said. "But now, you've finally stepped out of that phase, and you're beginning to reform your own existence. The World of Intent is rely the first step to what awaits you beyond it. Now, learn the Arcane Path with dea. Once you reach the fifth stage of Martial Arts, the Arcane Path will also help you further ascend and learn Cultivation much better."
"...I see," I nodded. "You ntioned sothing about the Five Elents. Is Cultivation also kind of like Magic?"
"Essentially, everything is related," he said. "The Arcane Path that dea is going to teach you, however, requires no Cultivation like the one I know. While the Cultivation of the Five Elents requires special rituals with the Constellations, creating an inner microcosm, and also forging your golden core, nascent soul, and so on, the Arcane Path takes a different approach."
"What approach?" I asked.
"Well, that's dea's job, not mine," he said. "Now go. She must be worried you're not there yet, and I don't want to deal with her."
"Alright, I'll go," I said. "Thank you for your teachings, Wasp. I appreciate your help."
"..."
Wasp remained silent as he looked at the horizon, without saying a word.
But I could feel sothing within his Heart Essence.
The joy he showed was slightly yellow, and now there was a calm azure.
What did that an?
It was sprinkled with gold and... pink?
I smiled lightly.
"I'm looking forward to our training!"
"...Ah, please just go already, young lady."
He didn't show it, but his heart could not lie.
He wasn't the monster I had thought.
Wasp was much more of a "person" than I had imagined.
Perhaps the original Wasp wasn't like him. Maybe he was driven by his instincts because my father had told him not to join us as family but as a re rcenary or sothing.
Anyway, I would leave these thoughts for later.
More importantly... I moved toward dea's Inner Realm, finally getting to know it.
As I had been told, it was a blue ocean with many islands.
Each island had small villages of people who served her and their many descendants.
She wasn't alone like Wasp. She had many families of servants who both learned under her and served her.
Because of this, dea led a whole clan of magicians as their Witch Queen of the dea Clan.
Although none of them were her blood-related descendants, she called them her family the mont they learned her Magic.
Finding myself in her Inner Realm after opening the door leading to her headquarters, I walked across a dense jungle while hearing the relaxing sound of the ocean waves.
Eventually, I reached the center of the island. There was a great, dark purple tower and a huge shrine covered with bright jewels shaped like stars.
At the center, there was a massive magic circle with many objects and magic items that she might use for special conjurations and magic.
"Here I am, dea."
"Young lady! You're finally here! I felt your presence entering! Finally! Why have you co so late?!"
"I'm sorry, I was practicing a bit more with Wasp... It's not his fault, okay? I asked him to practice. I was able to reach the Second Stage of Martial Arts."
"You're a Martial Master, I see! I can imdiately tell. It seems you've finally entered the World of Intent, right?" she asked with a smile.
"Ah, yes...!" I nodded, as I walked toward her.
Then, dea spread her arms with a gentle, loving smile.
"Then what do you see in my heart, my lady?" she asked.
"Huh?"
As I activated the Consciousness power again and saw through her Heart Essence...
"Wow?!"
Pink!
It was all pink with gold...
So much pink though!
Wait, what's pink anyway?
If joy is yellow, what is gold? A more solidified happiness?
Pink... could it be love?
"I see a lot of pink and yellow... gold," I said.
"Yes! Those are my feelings whenever I see the young lady...!" dea giggled and nodded.
"You love ?" I felt embarrassed.
"Of course I do," she hugged tightly, kissing my forehead. "I love you so much...! You're like my daughter."
"Ah, dea..." I felt embarrassed while she pushed my face into her large bosom. "Thank you."
"Fufu, I see you got embarrassed, and I also see you love too?" she looked truly happy.
"Eh?!" I gasped. "You saw through ?"
"Well, you've learned the way to see but not to hide your own, hmm?" she giggled. "You're an open book!"
"Ahh..." I felt so embarrassed.
"There's nothing to be embarrassed about, young lady, you can hug and cuddle with all you want!" dea said, spreading her arms to hug once more. "My adorable lady Kireina... you remind so much of your dear mother... whom we all loved. You're the joy of our family, and I believe that your existence is what made us all... better."
"Eh?" I was confused. "dea... what do you an by that?"
"Hmm, when you reach my level of Arcane Arts, you can see through Fate very vividly, and read the Constellations," she explained. "Our world... is sowhat strange, haven't you thought about it? I've read the Constellations. Apparently, there was once a world like ours that ceased to exist, and after eons, our world was born."
