There was quite literally an ocean of flowing boiling magma. Perhaps on Earth it would be a place deserted from any life, but this was a magic world, and there were all sorts of creatures here. From giant Lava Fish to Swimming Magma Dragons, and more.
The food chain was also pretty big, with little things as weak as Mortal-Level Monsters, to powerful Divine Beasts and even so Cosmic-Level Behemoths hiding within the depths of the Lava Sea.
