"Once mom wakes up, bring her along for lunch…" Amphitrite said, talking about Hydros, who was still sleeping after what happened last night.
"Can I join you for lunch too?" I asked happily.
"…Yeah," she walked away nonchalantly.
Ahhh, I'm so happy! My cute daughter invited to have lunch with her and her family!
I quickly ran back to my cabin, finding Hydros having woken up, looking all sleepy.
"Huh? Ah, honey…" she murmured cutely as she looked all sleepy. "W-What hour is it? Did I oversleep? Haah… I'm tired. Last night was… too much, you were so intense…"
"I-I'm really sorry…" I apologized. "And we ended doing it again afterwards… I'm really sorry…! I ended getting carried away again."
I apologized while hugging her and cuddling on her big chest.
"It's fine, dear. It just showed how sincere your love was, I'm really happy you blessed with two more babies. Let's raise them together this ti, okay?"
"Of course, I'm not going anywhere! Mooch, mooch~!"
I kissed her cheek as she smiled, kissing on my lips back.
After that, we went back to the springs where she took a cold bath and then we returned back to our family.
The sll of boiled rice, barbequed fish and octopus, and even Takoyaki was in the air, the islanders from the village had all tasted that dish from yesterday because I ended up making too much.
So I ended sharing the dish recipe and now a lot of people were trying it out it seed! They usually didn't eat things like octopus before, but it seed that they loved it now. It was nice we hunted so many we ended up sharing most of the rest of the village.
Although they're all Gods, so they need to eat a lot to stay with energy, so all those giant octopus are going to disappear within a week or two at most.
"Grandma!" Triton greeted again, running towards and grabbing my leg. "Mama ish making… tawoyawi!"
"Takoyaki you an?" I giggled. "Yeah! I could sll it from a mile away, let's eat!"
"Granma!" he looked at Hydros, stretching his little hands.
"Heheh, want grandma to carry you, dearie?" Hydros carried the adorable prince and kissed his forehead, as we walked inside the large wooden house of our daughter.
"Welco, mothers-in-law, lunch is almost ready by now," said my daughter's husband. "We prepared quite the feast! Once we ate lunch, I planned to go fishing to the farther reefs, Triton's getting more curious, I was planning on showing him the Colorful Reef Archipelago, that's where we also get most of our materials. There's a lot of amazing fishes that live over there; I think it would be educational for the kid."
"I wanna go! I wanna go!" Triton nodded while eating a little roasted octopus tentacle.
"Sure! Sounds like fun!" I nodded. "I haven't visited that part yet; I wonder how it looks like?"
"But can't you see everything with your powers? You own this world after all," said my daughter, stepping into the room as she carried a lot of food, placing it over the table.
"Eh? No… I an…" I muttered. "It has gotten harder to do that as the Realm grew bigger… And I've been limiting what I can do as well, to live a simpler life."
"Co on Amphitrite don't be an with her, she's your mother…" her husband sighed. "Sorry about that, she's a bit grumpy sotis."
"I'm not grumpy, I was just saying," Amphitrite closed her eyes as she served everyone so of the food she made.
There was Takoyaki, fried rice with clams, shrimp, fish at, and more octopus, grilled and roasted fish with sea salt, and a lot of other dishes using the veggies and fruits harvested from here.
The fried rice also had coconut juice and coconut fruit, making it an unique dish that had a very delicious, tropical flavor to it!
The unique combination of salty, sweet, and spicy was a staple on this island, and I honestly loved the food here.
"Can I bring so food with ?" I wondered.
"Sure, there's plenty," Amphitrite nodded. "You're leaving?"
"Oh no, just to gift it to soone else," I said, sending it away. "This food is so good I just wanted to share it with others."
"I see…" Amphitrite nodded. "I don't really care about the outside world or whatever, that's just too far away from here… and I'm content here too but… well, I'm glad you're sharing my food. Kind of makes a bit proud."
"Heheh, really?" I giggled. "I always praise your food, Amphitrite! And they love it."
"Hm…" she nodded, although she didn't show it, she was blushing a little.
"Grandma! Grandma! Do I have more aunties and uncles? What about cousins?" Triton asked excitedly.
"Well yes there's a lot!" I nodded. "There's your auntie Rimuru, Zehe, Nesiphae…"
I ended up talking about my family for a good ten minutes, making Triton more and more excited to one day see his very big family.
"When will they co here?! I want to et them!"
"Uh, well… that's up to your mother and your grandmother."
My family already knew about this island, there was no way I could hide it from them, and they took it surprisingly well as well.
I guess I shouldn't have worried too much to begin with… Though they wanted to et my grandson, I told them the island was off-limits for now due to… well, the nature of our relationship for the mont.
Also, I wanted to keep this a tropical paradise and a peaceful ho for the islanders, invading them with my giant family every day would be… too much.
"Mama, grandma, can they co? Pretty please?"
However, as Triton insisted, Amphitrite… well, she didn't take it too nicely.
"Triton I've already told you multiple tis to not insist with things like these, alright?"
"But…"
"No buts… Now finish your al."
"Hmmm…"
Triton looked sad, probably about to cry, but he didn't cry at the end, eating the food happily and slowly improving his mood.
Poor child… but I guess I can also understand his mother and where she's coming from. It's better this way, I suppose.
Once we had a delicious lunch, we prepared to depart on Jeremias' boat, which was made using the bones of a powerful Sky Sea Whale, a Peak Stage God-Rank Divine Beast.
The boat wasn't simple at all as a result, of white color and as big as twenty ters, the whole family fit inside just fine.
