Through the combined efforts of the whole family, the octopus nace was finally dealt with, the last of them falling down against my butterflies, as I modified their orders to only eat their "life", leaving the corpse intact.

"Phew, well, that sure was a nice exercise I suppose…!" Hydros laughed a bit carefreely. "Dear, are you alright?"

"Yes mother, I'm fine…" Amphitrite sighed in relief. "I never thought so many of those would appear… it's not like it's uncommon for us to et stronger divine beasts but this sure was surprising. Was there a whole pack living here?"

"I think they're nomadic," I said. "They move from shore to shore and from island to island… it just happened they were here."

I should've inspected the surroundings a bit better, I was too relaxed.

"But well, what's end well ends well, right?" Jeremias asked, his divine aura was already that of a great god, he worked hard and ascended right away. "I'm glad you two are alright…"

He hugged them both and kissed my daughter while patting his son.

"Despite being weaker, you were very brave…" Amphitrite said. "Wait, are you stronger now or sothing?"

"Yeah, sothing like that, haha," Jeremias laughed. "Your mother helped grow stronger on the battle, she taught how to absorb the monster's cores. I had no idea it was possible…"

"Really…?" Amphitrite looked at with slight surprise. "Well… thanks."

"You're welco," I smiled. "I can teach you so you can do the sa… Look, we got a big stash of them now."

My butterflies carried all the cores for ; while dragging along the corpses through the air, it was a pretty spectacle. I discovered this was the most harmless way to use my power of chaos while also looking pretty for people.

Of course, Chaos is such an unstable elent, it shouldn't even be possible for it to take such an uniform shape and form. But well, I am pretty unique myself, my proficiency with Chaos is already at the level of a Grand Master, and I can shape and mold this destructive power into delicate beings, beautiful and lethal.

It requires a certain level of concentration and a lot of other similar things… but that doesn't matter all that much anyway, right?

"Really?" Amphitrite looked down, she was a bit shy. "You don't… mind?"

"Hm? Why would I?" I wondered.

"You don't hate for treating you badly?" she asked .

"Hate you? Why would I hate you, co on," I said. "I completely understand why you were angry at , Amphitrite, and you're free to continue hating … It's what I deserve after all."

"…" she looked a bit sad when I said that I think. "No, it's… well, thanks. How do I do it then?"

"Well, you first…"

While I taught her about how to do it, Triton grabbed one of the cores and ate it, surprising his parents, who began panicking a little.

However, after he burped, he was fine.

"Don't worry about him, if he's my grandson he can devour anything," I explained. "In my bloodline there's the power of {Devour} imbued into all, all my children inherit it, naturally also my grandchildren. Amphitrite, you should be able to also eat the sa way he did. It's a quicker way than to absorb them naturally."

"I can?!" Amphitrite wondered, looking at her son. "Let's… let try."

She grabbed one of the crystals and took a bite, then ate the whole thing after more bites, she didn't seem to hate the flavor.

"Hmm… Wow…" She muttered. "I feel kind of stronger, a little… and I don't hate the flavor at least!"

"Nice! So it worked then!" I nodded. "Alright! Shall we have so lunch? Let's make so seafood barbeque! We got lots of octopus, so we could prepare grilled octopus, and also Takoyaki. Do you know what Takoyaki is?"

"What's that?" Triton wondered, tilting his head. "Is it yummy?"

"Very!" I nodded. "You'll get to know what it is, let's begin!"

The at of the Octopuses was tender, white, and slled delicious even raw, I ended taking a few bites, eating a whole octopus slowly using my aura, the flavor was delightful, and the poison gave it a nice spicy kick.

Of course, that wouldn't be good for the kids here, so I purified the poison out of the corpses with my {Devour}, and then with their help, we prepared a huge fire, where we started grilling the giant tentacles, which I seasoned with soy sauce and sweet unagi sauce from Japan. Yes, I bought stuff directly from that Dinsional Dungeon.

As for the Takoyaki, I also had prepared beforehand with huge molds for the giant ones I was preparing, eggs, flour, salt, and veggies were also added into the giant balls with octopuses' at inside, and then they were nicely seasoned with sweet sauce, bonito flakes, and mayo, the Japanese street food way.

"Hmm?! What's this?!" Hydros gasped. "It's so nice, but a bit hot too! Ooh!"

"It's amazing, so fluffy and savory… I like the white sauce and the octopus' at inside…!" Jeremias said.

"Hmm…" My daughter covered her mouth after taking a few bites of these jumbo-sized Takoyaki. "It's… good, I suppose."

"Well I'm glad you like it," I nodded. "What about Triton- Huh?!"

"Burp… I want another, grandma!" the little boy asked, having already finished his jumbo Takoyaki the size of a waterlon. "Please?"

"Heheh, how can I say no to my adorable grandson?" I giggled. "Alright, another round coming right up! Look at my technique and marvel!"

I rapidly moved the dough, then the ingredients combined together, I had watched a lot of videos like this on Youtube recently, so I knew how they do it!

"Wow!"

"That's amazing…!"

"You're quick…"

"Heheh!"

As I surprised them with my master level cooking techniques, I served another round of Jumbo Takoyaki, while also serving so fried rice alongside the grilled octopus tentacles.

We sat down to eat near the beach on wooden table and chairs, and with so tropical drinks combining alcohol with fruit juice, we enjoyed a delicious lunch together.
