Frank discovered that the sharp claws of his gloves were perfect for chopping off bones, at, and butchering the corpse, ironically enough.

Eventually, once the blood was drained and he stored it, as she told him they were good materials for alchemy and such, he began cutting the at.

"The at near the chest and stomach is surprisingly tender… And as I guessed, there's little at in the arms and legs, but might as well get it all out right away. Your Inventory can store things without letting the spoil, right?"

"Ah yes."

"Then that's for the better."

After Frank butchered all at, bones, innards, fur, and so on, the work was complete.

All under an hour, surprisingly!

"Ah, right! Ruby and Onyx… I left them back in my room… Shit, can't I call them here?"

"It shouldn't be hard… Try to concentrate into bringing them here."

"I can summon them?"

"Of course, simply bring them back to the space they go, and then bring them out here."

"Okay…"

Frank nodded, and so he did that.

FLASH! FLASH!

In re seconds, Ruby and Onyx appeared before him!

"Oh, there you are!"

"Raarrr?"

Ruby looked around confused, she seed to like the forest though, smiling happily as she wandered around, sniffing the ground like a dog.

"Pyuuuhh…"

anwhile, Onyx was a bit less… brighter, he was constantly moving around aimlessly, a bit lost… Frank quickly brought him back to his hands and placed him over his shoulders.

"Better stay there for now buddy."

"Pyuuupiii…"

Onyx cutely extended a tiny tentacle, touching Frank's face gently.

"Aww, what an adorable little sludge," Michael was moved by Onyx's cuteness.

"I prefer to call him a sli…" Frank said. "But yes, he's just a little guy."

Once done with the butchering and all, Frank quickly set up a small camp, put on a bonfire, and began doing so barbeque, wild style.

He had stored so many things inside his inventory due to his trips to Terra that he had salt, bread, pepper, and also even plates, a wooden table and chairs, and more.

He had even spent his savings buying a camping kit with everything included in it, so it was easy for him to start cooking with all of that.

FLUOSH!

"The Fireball Spell is really good for this…"

Frank was happy with his new gloves, the fireball he could create helped him make a bonfire very easily, with so of the wood he had previously found from branches lying around the forest.

Once everything was ready, he started cooking with Michael, who was preparing the at differently.

While Frank went to make steaks, Michael started mincing the at, she aid to create atballs.

But with Frank's prompt, she ended up making burgers instead, which looked delicious.

They weren't even sure the at would be tasty though, but they fed it to Onyx and Ruby and…

"Gryaarr! Nam, nam!"

Ruby loved the at, she ate it all super quickly, and also devoured the bones, biting and gnawing at them until they broke.

"The sharp fangs of a dragon cannot be underestimated, even a small one like her can eat bones easily like that."

"It's a bit impressive… imagine what she could do if she bit …"

"Hahah, don't be silly, she's such a lovely girl! She loves you very much, you know? I can tell by just feeling her connection with you."

"That's a relief… I've tried my best to raise her well."

"Pyuupiii…"

Onyx, in the other case, was eating bones by letting them slowly dissolve inside of his body.

Despite the process being rather slow, it was efficient, the little sli also beca a tiny bit bigger every ti he ate a big one.

"He's getting bigger? I thought he would need to evolve first…" Frank said, holding Onyx on his hand.

"Hmm, it seems his biomass increases the more food he consus." Michael explained.

"Well, that's really cool," Frank nodded with a confident smile. "Hm, that slls great… Let's make so sandwiches. I happen to have so bread… ah right! I got so tomatoes and lettuce from Terra too… might as well eat it. So ketchup and mayo as well! I'm glad I stocked all my food here in case of ergencies."

"You were very smart on stocking items, did you thought you would get lost in another world?" Michael asked.

"Yeah, I did… that's why I stocked everything," Frank giggled. "Alright…"

Frank quickly cut open a large baguette after slicing it into two and then three pieces and cut down the steaks he had grilled over stone and so oil, which he seasoned with sea salt, pepper, and a bit of soy sauce.

"Hmm, looks nice."

Frank made himself a sandwich quickly, with fresh tomato slices, lettuce, mayo and a bit of ketchup.

"I got no onions though, but this is fine enough. I wish there was garlic too… for the at."

He took a bite and then another and another…

The at had beco surprisingly tender after being cooked nicely!

Honestly, he couldn't stop eating, he was hungry because it was already midnight, and it had been a couple of hours since dinner too.

"Is it good?" Michael wondered.

"A-Ah! Yeah… I ate it all without realizing…" Frank sighed in relief. "The at's delicious! I don't know how to describe it well though, but I suppose it's like usual cow at, but it has a nice kick to it, like a bit strong flavor. Maybe the seasonings helped. Here, let make you one too… do you want it with the hamburgers or the steak?"

"Steak for now!" Michael nodded; she seed to have awakened as a foodie.

"For now? so you're planning to go for seconds, huh?" Frank said, as he gave her the sandwich. "There you go."

"Thank you," she smiled, closing her eyes and praying. "Thank God for this al…"

Before eating, it seed she would pray.

Frank was a bit surprised; she didn't do that before when he offered her fruit.

"…"

And once Michael finished her prayers, she quickly dug in!

"Hmm! It's very… really good!"
