"Hmph!"
"Heh!"
Susanoo and Beowulf faced one another for a second, but then smiled at the end, and didn't engage on any battle.
"Not for now, Beowulf, we don't get much ti here."
"Fine, I might have to go visit you at ho, I hope the others don't make a fuss about it like last ti though!"
"Hahaha! That would be funny to see, actually… But don't tell my sister I said that."
"Nah I don't sell out my friends like that."
Beowulf patted Susanoo's back, generating giant shockwaves that shattered the ground.
"Now tell what the hell you did!"
"Ah right! Hah… Well, that damned witch really tried to ss with us, so I gave her a warning."
"A warning?"
"I stabbed her soul with my sword, heh."
Susanoo patted the scabbard of his sword, making Beowulf's eyes widen.
"What?! No way! You teleported there?!"
"Using the connection my sister gave ; it was easy to move there using my Divine Flying Sword technique."
"That's even possible?! Hey no way! Teach that technique! Like this I could go beat all the damn bastards that keep hiding everywhere!"
"Hahah! That's not a technique a dog like you can learn, you have to beco a god and then ascend even further with the blade to even do it!"
"I'll learn on my own way then, just tell how you did it."
"Hah, you're so hopeless! But you have to give sothing in exchange…"
Susanoo looked at the giant demon corpse behind Beowulf.
"Hmm…"
"Hah, what? Want so?"
"Give the demon's spine and a piece of his core and it's a deal."
"What do you even want to do with that?"
"A new sword of course! I have never been able to forge a sword using fresh materials from a Demon from Hell of this caliber! Yokai as materials are boring! This is not sothing you see everyday even for a god!"
Susanoo analyzed the giant corpse with great interest.
"Fine! It's a deal, friend."
"Hahah! But don't co barking to once you can't learn the technique, got it?"
Susanoo manifested a small white and golden scroll from his hands and handed it to Beowulf, before Beowulf used his claws to cleanly cut off the entire spine of Buer and then half of its core.
"There you go!"
"Ohoh! Now these are rare materials! Thanks, dog!"
Susanoo grabbed the materials and placed them inside two bubbles of white light, flying into the skies to his sister's side.
"Haha, even the god calls you a dog," Clentine leagued by Beowulf's side.
"Hmm? Oh, you're still here, old hag? I thought you disappeared; you beca really mute out of nowhere…" Beowulf poked scratched his left ear with his pinky finger. "Were you… scared?"
"I-I wasn't scared!" Clentine complained angrily.
"Hahahaha! You were! You were scared shitless of Susanoo!" Beowulf mocked her, pointing his index finger at her.
"S-Shut up you damn mutt!" Clentine scread to the heavens.
While the two discussed, Amaterasu finished talking with Kaguya, the two exchanged information and had a little ti together.
"Thank you for everything, Amaterasu-sama, Susanoo-sama!" She said happily.
"Tis have beco more and more turbulent," Amaterasu said. "I can feel our world changing every day… Kaguya, it is your duty to protect Japan and Tokyo with the rest of the Alliance."
"Do a good job, okay?" Susanoo said. "We'll be watching, and if things get too hard, we'll help. But don't rely too much on us. Humans have to solve their problems on their own as well, don't beco too dependent on gods."
"Understood, Susanoo-sama," Kaguya nodded with a grateful smile. "I will take your words to heart."
"Then, we will be on our way," Amaterasu said, flying higher into the skies.
"See ya!" Susanoo, despite being old himself, still had a youthful face, waving his hand with an even more youthful personality at tis.
As they flew higher into the divine realm of the gods, Kaguya could hear them arguing.
"What are you bringing with yourself this ti, brother? Junk from the mortal realm again?"
"This isn't junk, Amaterasu! They're materials for my new sword!"
"A new sword… Don't you have like a hundred of those already?"
"I could always have a hundred AND one!"
"Haaa, you're so hopeless... Are swords the only thing you think about?"
"T-That's not it! I always think about many things!"
"Like?"
"Like… uh, protecting Japan, of course!"
"Hmm…"
Kaguya watched in silence, pretending she didn't hear anything, despite learning a lot about their personal life with those little conversations they had before leaving fully.
"Even as gods, they sure have a strong bond as family…"
She smiled lightly, glancing at Beowulf and Clentine, who were also arguing.
"Those two sure never stop arguing, huh?"
She looked into the distance, noticing a floating bubble of divine power similar to her own.
"Matsuo's spell… I see…"
She waved her hand, as the bubble made of barrier magic floated to her side, as she saw three young people inside hanging to life.
"It seems Matsuo's father and the other Monks forgot about picking them up…" She sighed. "Oh well, I'll bring you along… What a day this has been. I am really sorry for you three, but now that your powers have awakened, I cannot let you simply walk away as if nothing. I'll have to take you under my wing like I did with the young man, Frank."
She glanced at the young students inside, Elfina, Sol, and Fiere, feeling potent auras within their souls. They had amazing potential; hidden powers they had never awakened until dea possessed them and forced them out.
"Two girls with the Bloodlines of Fae, one can summon two powerful spears, another a bow and arrows of flas… And a human, with a Heroic Soul, a very rare thing indeed…"
As she caressed the bubble, she moved back with Clentine and Beowulf, as they regrouped and moved towards the Sun Clan of Amaterasu's headquarters.
