"Well, it’s hard to explain..." Drake said, explaining to Alma. "I believe it doesn’t exactly weaken them per se. It’s more like there’s a strange power within those from Earth’s origin, which I think we don’t have after we reincarnated here. This force seems to defy the logic of our world, its laws of magic and fantasy, with Earth’s normalcy. It is as if Earth, existing with nothing supernatural and just things made in a lab, has manifested its own Law..."

"Huh..." Alma raised an eyebrow, beginning to understand better. "Well, that sounds really weird but fascinating... Earth has nothing but normal stuff, but that normalcy alone creates a disruption with the fantasy of this world. It’s like so sort of ta-reliant power."

"It might have to do with each person or being from Earth. Perhaps if they negate the existence of fantasy or still can’t believe it entirely, this power intensifies," Drake said. "But that’s just a theory. It’s also true that those who co from that world can adapt to Mana on their own if they don’t die in the process. These zombies here all have Mana right now. They’re packed full of it. It seems like they’re literal sponges, and that might also be one of the reasons why there are so many sick people. When their Manaless bodies absorb all the mana in the environnt, which is like air to us, they get sick if they cannot assimilate it properly."

"So you’re saying that zombies don’t have that problem because they’re damn zombies already?" Alma asked. "So that’s why they’re so damn strong?!"

"It’s a combination of various factors, but yes," Drake nodded. "What’s more, I believe those who co from that world could even handle these beings much better than we could."

Drake looked at Chris Bluefield, Lucia, and Jake rushing toward the zombies, fighting together as an amazing trio. Their fighting styles were combined and coordinated, honed through hundreds of life-and-death experiences they faced back in their own world as they tried to survive their apocalypse.

"Haaaah!"

Chris was a monster, perhaps the toughest normal human Drake had ever seen. Hector didn’t count, as he was a human born and raised in Yggdrasil, already with his own Mana Core from birth.

But Chris Bluefield? Just an average human being from Earth, no superpowers, nothing, and yet the man was an absolute beast. He punched zombies in the face, sending them flying with their heads splattering into pieces. He kicked them, breaking their necks and spines, and he wielded a special gun that charged using sunlight, shooting lightning bullets that seed to be the latest technology from Earth at this point, blowing zombies into incinerated pieces.

What’s more, no matter how much they tried to bite him with their fangs or slash at him with their claws, they couldn’t deal any substantial damage. He was a powerhouse of a man, his body having been enhanced with nanomachines in the past, making him immune to the virus and the parasite.

And now that he had received multiple divine blessings from Drake and his whole family, he had gained imnse physical strength, quite literally becoming the embodint of Heracles.

"RUAAAH!"

He punched zombies apart, kicked them, trampled them, and shot them one by one. His montum grew faster as he realized there was sothing within him: the combined blessings of Drake’s family, coupled with his super strength from the nanomachine injection and the weird force dwelling within him as a visitor from Earth, made him stronger than he realized.

"SHYAAAAGGHH!"

When mutants charged him, Chris Bluefield faced them head-on. A giant Jaw Mutant roared, its skinless, fleshy body rushing at him, opening its sharp jaws and trying to bite his head off as it jumped over him!

BAAAM!

The creature was punched in the face, generating a shockwave that sent it flying away while exploding into bloody paste.

"Incredible, the power of their blessings is the real deal!" Chris Bluefield said. "Co to , you bastards! We’ll take you down!"

He provoked them, and as the zombies and mutants rushed toward him, he looked like the smallest and weakest of the group, but he was already almost at a similar level to so of Drake’s allies, even without having any divine power within him.

The force that repelled fantasy, which Drake had theorized, also had a special power, being especially more effective against one another, making it so beings from Earth could kill each other more easily. This was how Chris Bluefield was doing it.

"Wow, Chris, you’re getting better and better at this!" Lucia laughed, evading a zombie as Chris punched it away. She waved her hands, red flas surging as several fire tornadoes manifested around her, blazing flas engulfing the zombies and burning them to a crisp. "I can do more too! Watch!"

The Esper had also received her upgrade, as her powerful Psychic Abilities, Pyrokinesis, were now capable of much more. Although her techniques and mastery were her own, developed through years of fighting using these abilities since she awakened them as a child in a tragic accident that took her family from her, Lucia’s flas had now evolved to a level she could have never imagined before.

"Blue Flas!"

FLUOSH!

Her left hand opened, psychic powers surged, and blue flas manifested, a color she could have never created before, which rapidly consud her foes, the zombies. As they burned, they also froze into giant masses of azure ice, which slowly gained cracks and fell apart into pieces.

This was Drake’s Freezing Flas, a powerful combination of Ice and Fire Magic whose flas could burn and even eat away at a foe’s soul while freezing their bodies, a deadly and horrible way to go.

"Purple Flas!"

As she saw a mutant group approaching them, Chris punched a few toward her direction. She quickly manifested a huge wall of purple flas, burning the zombies and their mutated bodies. The purple flas spread black miasma over their bodies while also covering them with cursed runes, making them weakened and easier to kill.

"Jake!"

"Hm."

Jake nodded, leaping forward, his legs temporarily transforming into fleshy springs as he reached the mutants in a blink. He swung both of his arms, turned into massive bony blades covered by pulsating flesh and red eyes, slashing through the mutants and zombies, cutting them apart as he used both arms like scissors.

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
