"I am indeed a Reincarnator," Drake nodded. "I was once a human; I didn’t even live past my forties... and I reincarnated as a dragon in this world. I lived a life struggling at the beginning, a curse took away my divinity, and I had to earn it back, starting out as a mortal dragon instead, abandoned in the snowfields of Jotunheim, mostly because my parents hid from those coming after ."
"I see..." Celene was surprised but then nodded. "It makes much more sense why you’re the way you are, Drake... This is my first ti eting a Reincarnator, it’s a really great honor."
"Ah, please don’t mind that," Drake shrugged, chuckling a little. "It’s nothing special at the end of the day."
"You’re too humble," Celene smiled gently. "You’re indeed the weirdest dragon I’ve ever t, haha."
She even laughed, and her giggle was very adorable, making Drake happy he was finally able to put a smile on that woman, who always looked so sad and depressed.
"I’m glad I made you laugh a little," Drake said. "Being weird is my specialty after all, haha."
"I now understand a lot of things... thank you, Drake," Celene said. "I... honestly would not mind serving a king, if it’s soone like you."
"Ah, you flatter ," Drake said. "Sniff, sniff... Hm, were you cooking sothing? It slls like sothing is burning."
"Ahhh! The kitchen!" Celene panicked, rushing back to the kitchen and crying as she saw the stew she was cooking having been burned to charcoal black color. "Oh no! The stew... I used all the at we had left..."
Drake walked to her side, looking down at the food.
"Ah, this should still be edible," Drake said.
"W-What? Perhaps for us dragons, but the children will get sick..." Celene said.
"Let show you," Drake waved his hand, sparkles of golden light encompassing the stew, suddenly restoring it to its previous form, as all ingredients magically were revitalized, black dust fading away to reveal a delicious, boiling stew, with even more beauty than ever before, glowing magically. "There! A at and vegetable stew done... Oh? Is this chicken at?"
"I-Incredible! How did you even..." Celene was shocked. "I had never seen magic capable of doing this... was it Ti Magic?!"
"No, it’s Cooking Magic," Drake said. "I invented it, it helps cook tasty food for my family. I’ve got a big family after all, lots of mouths to feed."
"Hah... Haha... cooking magic? Who would have ever thought about such a thing?" Celene suddenly giggled again. "You’re truly a very unique man, Drake..."
"Nah, I just like good food," Drake shrugged. "Alright kids! Are you done with your little snack? I hope you still got so space; this stew looks phenonal!"
Drake brought over the stew to the table, as he served it to everyone on small bowls he created with his breath, surprising Celene even more.
"Alright, I guess I should get going, I don’t want to disturb you anymore," Drake nodded as he saw the children happily munching at the food.
"Wait, won’t you like to stay for... for longer?" Celene asked. "I... would you like to at least eat stew with us?"
"Sit down mister!"
"Wow this stew is aweso!"
"It’s so flavorful!"
"Hmm!"
"Aaahh... Well, why not?" Drake nodded, sitting down. "Might as well accompany it with this."
Drake quickly drank the bottle of blood, making Celene blush a little for so reason, even more when he licked his lips.
"W-Was it good? My blood?" she wondered.
"Hm? Eh..." Drake raised an eyebrow. "It was good of course, I can already feel- Woah!"
Drake suddenly felt a great surge of power, as a brand-new elent suddenly was unlocked within his very being, he saw a bright silver moon shining above him, overflowing with pink and purple light for just a second, before he gained the elental affinity.
Ding!
[You have drunk the blood of the {Moonlight Dragon, Celene}!]
[You have attained the Bloodline: [Moonlight Dragon (Awakened) (S)]!]
[Because your Elental Affinity with the Moonlight Elent is already SSS, it has risen to SSS !]
[Your power has a Dragon King and the bond you’ve shared with Celene further strengthens your Bloodline.]
[Your [Moonlight Dragon] Bloodline has increased to SS Rank!]
"Oh yeah, I already had this elent from back then, from that inheritance from Jotunheim I had obtained before, that’s where we also got that white serpent-like moonlight dragon spirit that Benladann is contracted with..." Drake thought. "However that wasn’t a real moonlight dragon at the end. Nonetheless, with this it’s almost SSS! But how do I increase it even more? Hm, I should simply visit the Moonlight Dragon Realm then."
"Thank you Celene, I have finally obtained the bloodline I was missing," Drake sighed in relief. "Please ask anything and I’ll do my best to give it to you."
"Anything?" Celene wondered. "Ah, please... no, there’s no need. You’ve already made my day happier... if anything, I should apologize again for antagonizing you, Drake."
"It’s fine, I usually don’t hold grudges for such small things," Drake said, smiling carefreely. "Now I’ll go to the Moonlight Dragon Realm for a bit, I need to ask your grandma a favor."
"G-Grandmother Midga?" Celene was confused. "But what?"
"I’ve been collecting a fragnt of power from each primordial mother," Drake explained. "This would further enhance my power and help face the danger that’s coming for us..."
"The danger...?" Celene was surprised. "I... I see..."
"I’ll go for now then, I’ll ditate here. Ah, the stew was delicious too, thank you," Drake finished the bowl of stew, and closed his eyes.
In that mont, he felt his mind moving through realms instantly, even though he was also back in the dwarven castle checking on the humans that escaped from an apparently zombie city.
"This place..."
When Drake opened his eyes, he found himself within a realm illuminated by faint moonlight, the surface resembling a ld of the actual moon’s surface and also with vegetation and mountains made of glowing pink and purple crystals.
Thes sky seed to be eternally at night, like the dark dragon realm, but it was brightly illuminated by stars and a gigantic silver moon above the skies.
