"Ugh, okay then."
Drake sighed as he sent waves of slis to his designated areas, using his Demonic Spirit Weapon to farm Demonic Energy from defeated foes, which automatically converted into Ascendancy Law Essence.
This ti, Drake had much more power, expanding his hunting grounds rapidly and gaining passive energy at least ten tis faster than before.
But even then, he would have to wait.
"Damn it, well, let’s just wait for now."
"Yeah, you still got plenty strong anyway! Peak of Rank 13 is amazing, Drake."
"I guess it is."
Drake walked back to the farm to check on everyone and found them happily working, even now. Athyst had really taken a liking to it.
For now, however, he needed to bring Athyst to the Draconic Records to communicate with her grandmother about her being alive and well, and perhaps to find a missing trail sowhere else.
He also wanted to speak with his own grandmother, Svartalf, to tell her about Umbral’s defeat and that he wouldn’t be around to annoy them anymore.
And, well, he also wanted to have a conversation with her about what she had told Umbral regarding his mother.
Drake loved and cared for his grandmother, but he needed to get that off his chest.
Even if it might bring so conflict.
"The Draconic Records? You’re right, we should go," Athyst said.
"I wanna go too!" Drakda said.
"Can we go visit grandma?" Benladra asked.
"Not for now, kids. It will be just Athyst and for now," Drake said. "We can go as a family on another occasion. I need to speak with the elders about so more serious things."
"I see. Well, good luck," Benladann nodded. "Benladra, Drakda, don’t bother your father."
"Alright, let’s go, Athyst," Drake said.
"Sure." Athyst sighed as she left the farming tools behind and followed Drake. They both entered a portal to the Draconic Records.
Their first stop was the Draconic Records of the Earth Dragons, where the Primordial Mother of Earth Dragons, Jotun, governed.
When they arrived, they were quickly greeted by a few Earth Dragons walking around, eating ores, and hunting beasts in the deserts and canyons.
"It’s been a while since I’ve been here," Athyst said, looking around. "Hello."
The other Earth Dragons noticed them and approached eagerly.
"Athyst? Is it really you?"
"She is!"
"Our youngest baby sister!"
"Well, hello there!"
"Drake, have you brought our missing sister? Thank you!"
"Haha, it’s nothing. Glad to help," Drake said. "It took a little while. I had to train her and everything. We’ve co to et Jotun."
"She’s already aware you’re here," said one of the Earth Dragons, resembling a large, brown-scaled turtle with a head covered in glowing yellow crystals. "Co with ."
He retreated into his shell, spinning in midair and rushing through the desert lands. Drake and Athyst followed him, finally arriving at a gigantic canyon where Jotun rested.
"Mother Jotun, Athyst is here!"
The Earth Dragon called for her, and then the ground, no, the world trembled.
