While celebrations after Drake's victory against the invading forces of Zipangu occurred, a shadow figure moved through the ruined city, glancing from afar with eyes filled with anger and disbelief, and frustration.
"I cannot believe Lord Katsuie Shibata would lose against that barbarian! T-This cannot be happening right now! What will his majesty's reaction be?! He'll surely be so furious he will rain fire into this land!"
The figure wearing the black hood was that of a middle-aged woman with long white hair and pale white skin, with glowing red eyes, her hands were imprinted with strange magical runes from Zipangu, and she carried with her a small staff made of Cherry Blossom Wood.
She was Katsuie Shibata's assistant, a powerful Sorceress of Dark Arts, an Onmyōji. Among the top ten strongest sorceress that served Oda Nobunaga, and her magical prowess was considerable.
However, compared to the monsters that had arrived, she knew better to not pointlessly pick a fight against them. Her magic could do many things, as she was the one responsible for spreading the Yokai Curse and turning the citizens of this island into Yokai Monsters before.
However, it seed that such a thing wasn't enough against this foe, capable of even countering her own Curse, destroying it, and healing the cursed, sothing that had never happened or have been seen before back in Zipangu.
"I must go back right away, I have to report this!"
CRASH!
However, as she was getting prepared to leave by running towards the port, a figure erged, kicking the rubble away and descending in front of her, blocking her path.
"Where do you think you're going?"
"Ah! Huh?!"
Her eyes widened, as she expected a soldier she could take or sothing similar to that, but it was none of that. No, the man that stood in her path was nobody else but the very sa that had slain her master!
With long silvery-white hair, pale blue skin, silver scales and glowing, fierce golden eyes, Drake had erged out of nowhere to stop her.
"Y-You?! Surely this is an illusion! You're over there celebrating and getting drunk!"
"Hahah, and who said I can't be in two different places at the sa ti?"
"Tch! You may surpass with physical strength, but don't underestimate , I am Kimiko Hanna, the Ninth Sorceress of Oda Nobunaga-sama!"
The woman pointed her staff at Drake, manifesting several spiraling magic circles, or well, sothing similar to them, although they had bizarre shapes, runes, and forms.
Drake noticed as the Darkness of the Night and the Moonlight coming from the skies was absorbed, intensifying and increasing the power of the woman's magic imnsely.
"I see, so this is how your magic works. You people from Zipangu draw imnse power from nature itself, huh?"
"Heh, that's right… Unlike you, who are born with crystalized magic inside of your bodies, we people of Zipangu have learned other ways to get around our lack of inner magic. This is the result of hundreds of thousands of years of history!"
The domain expanded, as giant black spears made of cursed flas were summoned, raining upon Drake without end. At the sa ti, several mirrors made of silver moonlight floated around her, protecting her from Drake's incoming Ice Magic.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Explosions of magic reverberated and exploded everywhere, as Drake gave chase to the sorceress, who was running directly to the port. Despite her best efforts, her magic could at most push him back but wasn't even capable of harming him.
FLUOSH!
But then, sothing managed to stop him, a gigantic black lotus appeared beneath him, almost copying his own white lotus technique and releasing a powerful dinsional prison-like spell.
"{Black Heaven's Lotus}!"
Drake felt like his power was being drained inside of this strange flower, and above all, the woman was running away as quickly as she could into the port.
"Hah, not bad."
CRAAASH!
However, with a single release of his Aura, the entire dinsional prison spell shattered into pieces, helping Drake reach Kimiko once more, extending his hand towards her, he attempted to freeze her in ti.
"{Ti Freeze}"
TRUUUM!
A wave of frozen ti reached Kimiko, as she gritted her teeth, realizing the imnse power of the spell. Her mirrors combined into a single giant mirror, as Drake's spell was…
FLAAASH!
Dispelled!
"Oh?"
Drake was honestly speechless, he thought he couldn't find soone comparable to him after he defeated that general, but it seed this woman was hiding incredible magic beneath her weak body.
"To think you can even wield Ti! You're too big of a threat, Dragon King Drake…!" the woman said with a smirk. "I'll make sure to tell Oda Nobunaga-sama about you! Don't think your life will ever be the sa once my lord's army start chasing you until the end of the world! Hahahaha!"
"Hey, why are you laughing all confidently? Are you seriously going to jump into the seas? I can just catch you there!" Drake said, catching up to her as he flew rapidly, only for her to jump into the ocean as he thought. "What the hell is wrong with this woman- Hm?!"
Drake, however, in that mont, saw a paper door, or a tatami door typical on traditional Japanese houses, open through the empty space above the ocean, where the sorceress jumped into before it began to close.
"A Dinsional Gate of so sort?!"
Drake rushed down as quickly as he could, a second before he could reach the door and slide through!
However…
CLAAASH!
A blazing black sword erged, clashing against his hand and pushing it back, as he saw an imnsely large figure erge, not Oda Nobunaga, but one of his retainers.
"It is not yet ti for you to et our Great Emperor! Mind your manners, barbarian!"
Clad on completely red armor with a mask resembling a ferocious crimson oni, the swordsman swung his long katana, unleashing a gigantic storm of infernal flas, engulfing Drake completely and managing to push him back with a massive explosion.
BOOOMMM!!!
"What the hell was that?"
Drake, almost unscathed, looked down as he saw the door close and disappear…
