Drake swung Celestia forward, as his foe saw a wave of pure light coming at him, Katsuie Shibata naturally attempted to evade, but to his surprise, he could not.
The attack was already hitting him when Drake swung his sword, it was at a speed he was unable to even perceive.
"GAAAAGH?!"
Drake sent his enemy flying away, as Katsuie Shibata impacted the castle and blew through its walls, destroying them and making half the castle collapse into pieces, crushing him.
BOOOM!
"You survived that, it ans you're not too weak."
Drake appeared in front of him, moving at lightning speed, the impact wave of his movent shaking the world around him, as the entire castle disappeared, exploding and flying away into pieces everywhere.
TRUUUM!
As he did, he saw that Katsuie Shibata was gone. Indeed, a second earlier he had moved away, appearing above Drake, aiming at his neck with his five naginata, his eyes glowing bright red as he was bleeding from his forehead, half of his mask had been shattered.
"{Kumon no rasen: Spiral of Anguish}!"
FLUOSH!
His entire body spiraled as he descended, all five of his naginatas impacting Drake's neck and body, constantly trying to grind through his skin, flesh, and bones, and tear him to shreds. The impact alone generated explosions of black, ghostly flas, while the ground beneath shattered into pieces!
And yet…
"{Limitless Path: Eternal Awakening}"
FLAAASH!
Drake's Aura and Soul rged with his blade, moving Celestia with incredible dexterousness, clashing and intercepting all of his foe's blows in re seconds, as black and white petals appeared everywhere, shocking the great general.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
"T-This bastard is managing to parry every single blow?!"
Katsuie Shibata couldn't believe what he was seeing, the level of technique Drake was showing was equal or superior to the greatest Master Swordsn he had ever faced!
"You're too slow, I'm speeding up. Don't die yet."
Drake stepped forward, his movents becoming precise and non-destructive, containing his strength while delivering concentrated, powerful blows. Each one ca accompanied by Drake's Aura and his Blade transforming, resembling giant serpents biting through his foe's body, Katsuie Shibata's armor started shattering into pieces.
"{Eight-Headed Infernal Heavenly Void Serpent Of Annihilation}"
Drake activated his newest Divinity, part of his Divine Ability Core of his Ascendancy Law, imbued with his newest powers, it was a perfect mix of everything he could wield at once.
The serpents, made of void, light, flas, and ice, constantly pushed back Katsuie Shibata while delivering explosive blows.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
"AAAGGGH!"
Katsuie Shibata grew frustrated, but the more he was pushed into a corner the fiercer he beca. Stepping forward as his three naginatas, two of them already having been shattered by Drake's attacks, spiraled around in front of him while his aura transford, warping into a multi-ard demonic oni.
"{Hitan no shukujuu: Degeneracy of Sorrow}!"
TRUUM! TRUUM! TRUUM!
All three of his blows blew through Drake's snakes, piercing them and making them explode into void and light, generating particles that attached to him and burned his armor, but he didn't care, reaching Drake and piercing his flesh and body, impaling him constantly.
"GAAAAAHHH!"
As he roared fiercely, Katsuie Shibata constantly continued his attack, each attack generating a concentrated impact shockwave that pierced through all defenses, ignoring them completely at the sa ti as a black fog covered his foe, trying to affect their mind with sorrowful thoughts.
"Hah, you hurt , magnificent."
As Drake vomited blood and glanced at all three naginatas' piercing his chest and heart, Katsuie Shibata laughed, smiling back at him with a fierce and confident smile.
"It looks like I won, barbarian! You were not bad at all though. I will give you a swift death and- Ungh?!"
However, in that mont, Katsuie Shibata realized sothing, Drake's hand was grabbing his arm tightly, so tightly he felt like his bones were about to break at any mont.
And what's worse, the blood Drake had spilled over his weapon and his arm? It suddenly warped and transford, becoming aberrant draconic snakes, coiling around his body.
"W-What?! What sort of sorcery…?!"
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
Before he could do or say anything else, the snakes exploded, blowing him away while two of his naginatas didn't survive the explosions, shattering into pieces, with only one remaining weapon still impaling Drake's chest.
"A-Ahhh…!"
Katsuie Shibata slowly stood up despite his wounds and his burnt skin, his black phantasmal flas covering his wounds and seemingly helping him not worsen them, although it didn't heal him.
"It appears you have… more tricks beneath your sleeve than I imagined… barbarian."
"My na is Drake."
Drake threw the naginata back at Katsuie Shibata after he took it out of his chest, cleaning the blood out of the tip as well.
"You're… giving my weapon back?"
Katsuie Shibata smiled in disbelief at the scene.
"I know you're a warrior, despite how atrocious you might be, I will kill you while you hold your weapon."
And then he saw it.
Drake's wound regenerated instantly, as if he were so sort of inhuman monstrosity.
There was no magic used, no blessing or divine power… it was just his body working as always.
"I thank you…" Katsuie Shibata smiled, closing his eyes, as he threw away his helt, revealing his long, silky black hair waving by the wind. "But don't think this is over, Immortal. I have not reached this far in my lord's army without bringing him hundreds of victories… I am more tenacious than you could ever imagine!"
"That's what I like to hear," Drake spread his arms at him. "Co!"
"TERYAAAAAA!"
Katsuie Shibata roared back, charging towards Drake without fear, as his skin started glowing, black tattoos erging from within him, his Aura concentrated within the tattoos, strengthening his physique even further.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
Drake rapidly parried a consecutive barrage of powerful piercing and slamming blows coming from his naginata, which was reinforced, evolving and becoming larger and sharper, at the sa ti as he used Celestia to defend, as she was as big as a shield.
"I'm ready to go all-out! Are you, Drake?!"
Katsuie Shibata smiled viciously, as Drake's eyebrows rose lightly, noticing that his foe suddenly was encompassed by a cocoon of ghostly black flas, the essence of hundreds of Yokai possessing his body.
RUMBLE!
