The gigantic computer in front of Erald, which was constantly glowing bright red, seed like an obvious target!
"I never thought about it, mostly because it's so big it just lded with the background."
Erald walked towards the huge screen, his golden claws overflowing with spiraling winds, as he quickly rushed to destroy it!
"[Tempestuous Dragon Claws]!"
CLAAAASSSHH!!!
An explosion of winds reached the computer the mont his claws attempted to sink through them, only for Erald to realize sothing had blocked his attack.
And it was another barrier, exactly the sa as the one the Juggernaut possessed!
"Wha…?!"
The computer quickly took the shape of a pixelated face, flaring at Erald with angered eyes, the young wind dragon stepped back in fear.
"[Did you really thought I was defenseless]? [As long as this barrier exists, you cannot harm .]"
"What?!"
Erald looked how Drake and everyone else were fighting with everything they had against the Juggernaut, growing more frustrated he couldn't be of so help!
"Just shut up and break already! You're just a damn Dream!"
With a mighty roar, Erald's entire body started overflowing with more Divine Power, the many feathers covering his body flew off like hundreds of projectiles, striking the entire barrier!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
However, there was almost no damage! The barrier was even stronger than the one the Juggernaut possessed. Was there any hope?
"Ugh… Dammit!" The young wind dragon roared. "After all the dumb things I did back ho, I was expelled and now I'm in the middle of this entire fight, sothing I never eve wanted anyways! Why do I always get myself into so much trouble?!"
As Erald kept trying to destroy the barrier with claw attacks, kicks, and wind magic, he couldn't help but think about his past and what brought him to this situation.
All caused because of his dumb mistakes, his naivety, and never taking things seriously for once! Even among the lax wind dragons, he was the most childish, and it wasn't just because of age.
Because of this, his mother wanted him to learn experience and beco a better dragon, to find his purpose and beco a better person.
But what has he done since then?
Gotten hurt and incapable of flying because of trying to talk with a dangerous looking dragon, stupidly blad for things he didn't do because he was unable to show any evidence of what happened, hunted down by these people, and ultimately coming all the way here to deal with the origin of his problem in this place!
It was just one problem after another… Compared to Surtr, he lacked the wits and although he had so courage, it wasn't enough to carry him all the way towards his goals, if he even had any.
"Should I have just… died sowhere and not bother others?" He thought, gritting his beak tightly.
BBBZZTTT…!
"Huh?!"
However, suddenly, the barrier he was striking started to glitch, growing weaker and weaker! He suddenly glanced into the distance, finding little Kate touching the walls near the computer, fully concentrating herself into hacking the system!
She had been unable to hack the chs before because of how strangely complex their circuits were, but right now, she was putting her entire soul into doing it against sothing even more complex!
And although she couldn't deactivate the barrier, weakening it or making it glitch was enough!
"Uncle Drake's daughter…!" Erald thought. "Even as little as she is, she's fighting and trying her best… Why am I even whining?!"
"Uncle Erald!" Kate cried, her entire body covered on circuits that were constantly changing color from blue and red. She was in terrible pain, in fact! "HURRY!"
"Leave it to your UNCLE!"
Erald hard himself with bravery where there was none, his claws gathering all the power he could possibly muster, recalling the words his mother and siblings taught to him when he learned to control the winds!
"Stay calm. Don't let rage take over you."
"The winds will not answer soone that has a peaceful mind."
"Ask for their help, and once they gather into your palms… shape them to your will."
"The winds are an extension of your body, not an external force. They are you, and you are the winds."
"Erald… you're the one with the greatest potential in our entire family, yet you lack one thing that makes you the weakest… And that's the ability to concentrate!"
With those words in mind, Erald concentrated, while trying to calm himself…
The winds, naturally, gathered all around him, tens- no, hundreds of tis as more than ever before!
His eyes opened in shock! Yet he couldn't waste this opportunity by being surprised, he had to mold them!
FLAAAASH!
The winds shone brightly as if they were made of pure clear green light, the Heaven's Winds responded to his call even within Dreams themselves.
"[Divine Heaven's Wind Magic]: [Sky Opener]!"
By pushing both his palms forwards… a trendous attack was unleashed.
TRUUUUUUMMMMM…!
It was as if enough force to open the skies themselves was summoned, the glitched barrier could no longer hold back against such power, shattering apart!
CRAAASH!
And that wasn't all, the winds continued their trajectory, destroying the entire computer and all its circuits!
BOOOOOMMMM!!!
The Juggernaut's barrier began to malfunction until it disappeared, the robot suddenly panicked, seconds before it was torn to pieces by Benladra, Miranda, Benladann, and Drake's attacks!
"SHYAAAAGH!"
CRAAAAASSSSHHH!!!
The entire giant ch exploded into pieces, scattering everywhere. The area quickly cald down as well, falling into a calm silence.
The multiple robots erging from the walls stopped coming at long last, and quietness took over…
"W-We did it! Well done, Erald! Kate!"
Drake celebrated, raising his arms.
"And of course, everyone else!"
"OOOOOHHH!"
The warriors led by Tyrannus celebrated loudly, as Benladann and Miranda giggled. Benladra quickly went to see Kate, but aside from a bit of pain, she was alright.
"Kate, are you alright?" Drake asked.
"Dear?" Benladann asked as well.
"I'm fine… A bit tired, that's all." Kate smiled.
"Are you not asking how I am though?!" Erald complained from the sides.
"You look fine to ." Benladann said.
"Stop whining…" Drake sighed.
"Agh…"
Maybe Erald still had more room to grow.
