Zack Snyder was baffled and unwilling to accept reality. This was probably the film he had poured the most effort into, yet in the end, the "harvest" only brought others crushing disappointnt.

The audience didn't just dislike it—they outright hated it.

Fortunately, the opening weekend box office numbers weren't too bad. In four days, the film raked in 160 million dollars, ranking as the sixth-highest opening weekend in North Arican film history!

Clearly, even though reviews were terrible, plenty of moviegoers were still drawn to theaters simply because of the ga-event title "Batman vs Superman."

This gave Zack Schneider and Warner Bros. a dangerous illusion—maybe this would be one of those films where the harsher the criticism, the higher the box office.

But they were thinking too much.

After that first weekend, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice collapsed at the box office. Its second-week numbers dropped over 60%, pulling in just 23.34 million dollars.

By the third week, it plunged again, bringing in only 20.32 million.

And the worst blow? Just five days after the film's release, a massive event exploded across dia and the internet, completely overshadowing the movie.

Yes—the "Email Scandal" broke out.

Russian intelligence had made their move.

In the original tiline, this "Email Scandal" marked the beginning of Hillary Clinton's reputation collapse. It was the so-called "First Email Leak" of early 2016.

Among the 707 leaked cases, one key figure stood out: John Podesta—Hillary's campaign chairman, forr White House Chief of Staff under President Bill Clinton, and later a top national security advisor under President Obama.

John Podesta's younger brother, Tony Podesta, was also deeply tied to the Clintons. The two families had been close for decades, working together in Washington while sharing a long history back in Chicago, where they grew up in neighborhoods barely 14 minutes apart.

The Podesta brothers beca part of the Clinton inner circle. One served as strategist and household manager, the other as a political fixer with shadowy dealings. Both, however, had… unsettling tendencies.

John Podesta once made a bizarre "cannibalistic" hand gesture in public—one palm with a fish drawn on it, the other marked with the number 14. This symbol referenced an Egyptian myth: Osiris was killed by his brother Set, his body cut into 14 pieces and scattered. His wife Isis gathered them to resurrect him—but since his missing phallus had been eaten by fish, Osiris could not be fully restored. From this myth, Horus was later born.

In Podesta's campaign office, artwork depicting disturbing scenes—two n with knives and forks at a table, prepared to dine on another human—hung on the walls. When Ti magazine asked about it, John Podesta replied: "The guy holding the fork looks relaxed. It's not a surgery—it's about people eating together."

The Podestas were also long-ti patrons of artist Roger Took, repeatedly convicted for child-related offenses. His grotesque works circulated online, making many nauseous.

Even more troubling, the brothers were close to Serbian performance artist Marina Abramović, infamous for her disturbing "spirit cooking" shows.

Abramović's 1996 book Spirit Cooking with Essential Aphrodisiac Recipes described ingredients such as fresh sen, breast milk, and urine. She frequently hosted events where guests consud life-sized cakes shaped like human bodies, complete with fake blood, evoking scenes straight out of a horror film.

One of the first leaked emails revealed Hillary Clinton in June 2015 responding warmly to an invitation from Marina Abramović and the Podestas to attend such a "Spirit Cooking" dinner—signing off her reply with "Love, Hillary."

When that email surfaced, it caused a storm.

Speculation spread wildly: Was Hillary a secret participant in occult practices? A "cannibal enthusiast"? Or worse, part of sothing darker?

And it all traced back to John Podesta.

Podesta himself had unknowingly triggered the disaster by clicking on a phishing email crafted by Russian intelligence. Once he entered his credentials, his entire inbox was hacked. Tens of thousands of emails were dumped onto WikiLeaks, exposing over 20,000 private exchanges that shattered the Clintons' carefully maintained image.

The leaks revealed:

Hillary's controversial paid speeches to Wall Street bankers, so commanding up to $200,000 each.

Backroom deals where Morocco's King Mohamd VI paid the Clinton Foundation 12 million dollars in exchange for Hillary's appearance at an event.

Evidence that during the Democratic primaries, Hillary's team repeatedly undermined Bernie Sanders through rigged strategies and insider manipulation.

One email even showed Hillary openly claiming that "Arican democracy belongs only to the white elite class" and that ordinary citizens' demands for democracy were nothing more than selfish greed. She further argued that the world should serve global financial elites, who with a re flick of the finger could enjoy "godlike privileges" and reap the planet's wealth.

These revelations disgusted not only the Arican public but also people worldwide. For many, it was the first ti they saw the raw, hypocritical face of U.S. capitalist politics—corrupt, elitist, and ruthless.

And from that point, Hillary Clinton's reputation began to collapse.
