The ruined city remained quiet, but not empty.

Another presence moved through the broken streets.

Ray slowed his steps as he approached the area. His gaze lifted and locked onto the molten structure in the distance. The nest stood out imdiately. Its surface glowing and heat distorting the air around it.

He stopped.

"So they’re in there," he muttered.

His senses were sharper now than ever before. The Demonic Sword in his hand pulsed faintly. Its soul now no longer separates from him. It was blending into him slowly but constantly. He could feel it seeping deeper into his soul and changing him piece by piece.

But it didn’t dull him. Instead it sharpened everything.

His awareness expanded. He could feel every shift in the air and trace of energy... And what he felt from that nest made him frown.

"That place is dangerous," he said quietly.

It wasn’t just strong. It was sothing too much for him to handle at this point. Sothing that made even the bloodthirsty man him hesitate.

His grip on the sword tightened slightly.

With the Demonic energy inside him growing stronger, his instincts scread caution. The transformation only made that instinct clearer.

Going in blindly to that nest was a bad idea.

Ray sighed slowly, then stepped back. Not now.

He turned his gaze away from the nest and began scanning the surrounding area.

A short distance away, he spotted the remains of a crumbled house. Its structure had collapsed long ago, leaving behind broken walls and scattered debris. It wasn’t much, but it was enough for him.

Ray moved toward it without hesitation.

He stepped inside the wreckage, carefully lowering his presence. The broken walls provided cover and from certain angles, he could still keep an eye on the area.

"This will do," he said.

The tension in his body finally eased slightly.

Then the fatigue hit.

"Tch." He clocked his tongue in annoyance.

He rolled his shoulders, then sat down against a broken section of wall. The ground was rough and covered in dust and fragnts of stone, but he didn’t care.

"I’ll rest here just for tonight."

There was no comfort or safety here. But it was enough for him.

Ray leaned back, his sword resting beside him. His eyes slowly closed as his breathing steadied.

Even among the ruins, surrounded by nothing but wreckage, he fell asleep.

Ti passed.

The darkness of night faded.

A faint light spread across the ruined city as morning ca.

But sothing felt different.

The air rippled.

A presence far greater than anything before began to descend.

Then it appeared.

A massive translucent notification spread in their visions, visible to everyone.

[THE LAST SCENARIO "SKYFALL ABYSS" BEGINS NOW!]

[LAST SCENARIO: SKYFALL ABYSS]

[DIFFICULTY: A]

[OBJECTIVE: ELIMINATE THE CELESTIAL ABYSSAL BEAST THAT COVERS THE SKY]

The mont it appeared, the entire city felt huge pressure fall on them.

Sothing enormous existed above them now. Sothing that filled the sky.

Inside the molten nest, Clyde’s eyes snapped open.

The faint crackle of lightning returned around him as he slowly stood up. The heat of the chamber remained, but it was nothing compared to the feeling that now pressed down from above.

Mina stirred as well to react to the sudden change.

The notification still hovered in the air, impossible to ignore.

Clyde looked upward, his gaze sharp.

"At last," he muttered.

His grip tightened. The final stage had begun.

Not far from the molten nest, hidden among jagged stone and broken debris, two figures also began to stir awake.

Sean’s eyes opened first. The mont he beca aware, he felt the pressure from the sky descended on him.

It pressed down on his body like an invisible weight and it felt heavier than anything he had felt before. His instincts flared instantly as he pushed himself up from his position.

Connor woke up right after, his expression already tense.

"You felt that too?" Connor muttered.

Sean didn’t answer imdiately. His eyes were already fixed forward, where the translucent notification still lingered.

Connor followed his gaze to look at his own notifications. Then his expression changed.

A deep frown ford as he read the ssage again.

"How is this possible?" he said, his voice low and tight with fear and shock. "The previous scenario hasn’t even ended yet... and now this one already appears?"

There was clear worry in his tone.

Sean felt it too.

The inconsistency. The sudden escalation. None of it made sense.

But repeating the sa question wouldn’t change anything.

His eyes shifted, focusing on the objective.

[ELIMINATE THE CELESTIAL ABYSSAL BEAST THAT COVERS THE SKY.]

Sean’s jaw tightened slightly.

He could feel it.

That presence above them wasn’t sothing they could ignore easily. It was vast and oppressive. Completely beyond anything they had faced so far.

A quiet dread settled deep in his chest.

"This..." Sean said slowly, his voice heavier than before. "...this will be the most dangerous scenario we will face."

Connor let out a frustrated breath, dragging a hand through his hair.

"No shit," he muttered. "The worst part is we’re not just supposed to survive this... we have to kill that thing."

He let out a bitter laugh, shaking his head.

"This is ridiculous. We can’t survive this."

Silence followed.

Sean didn’t respond right away.

His eyes lowered slightly, his thoughts moving quickly.

Then after a mont, he spoke.

"I think we still have a chance."

Connor looked at him imdiately. "What do you an?"

Sean lifted his gaze again, this ti toward the direction of the molten nest.

"We can’t do this alone," he said.

Connor frowned. "What?"

"We need to work with the Apex guy," Sean said. His voice sohow able to remain steady.

The words hung in the air.

Connor stared at him, his expression tightening into a grimace filled with uncertainty.

"You’re serious?"

Sean didn’t look away.

"We have to try," he said. "There’s no other way."

Connor sighed slowly, clearly not convinced. But he didn’t argue further because deep down, he understood that it was indeed the right choice.

"Alright," he said at last.
