Nan Bingyu squinted slightly after seeing who it was, "It’s you."
She hadn’t gone looking for them, but they had co to find her.
Ling Jiayu, wearing sky-high heels, walked up to her with a smile, "Long ti no see, Lady Nan."
Nan Bingyu looked at her calmly, "I haven’t seen you for a while, indeed, but you seem to keep a close watch on , don’t you?"
Ling Jiayu smiled but didn’t deny it, "Want to chat soti?"
"Chat about what? n? If you have the skills, make him regain his mory. It wouldn’t even take a finger curl to make him follow you."
Ling Jiayu sized her up, seemingly trying to glean sothing from her face, but Nan Bingyu was calm, revealing nothing.
After a while, she laughed again, "I will. When he regains his mory soday, I’ll take him away. By then, Lady Nan, don’t keep him."
Nan Bingyu nodded slightly, "If he really wants to go with you, I won’t keep him, but he won’t be able to take what’s not ant to be taken."
Whether Ling Jiayu understood or not, she just smiled and left.
A surge of anger welled up in Nan Bingyu’s heart, and she clenched her fists, her nails digging into her flesh.
Ling Jiayu openly challenged her, and it seed the showdown with Xi Yihang wasn’t far off.
But she couldn’t figure out what opportunity had caused them to drag it out until now.
Not understanding it, she decided to stop thinking and went to et Fu Hanyan.
Fu Hanyan had been married for so ti and was now pregnant. As a first-ti mother, she was eager to prepare things for the unborn child just three months in.
Nan Bingyu, having given birth to two children, was thought to be experienced by Fu Hanyan, who asked for her advice. Yet, after going around the shops, Nan Bingyu knew nothing.
Fu Hanyan was amused and frustrated, "How co you know nothing?"
Nan Bingyu was equally helpless, "Xi Yihang prepared all those things. I don’t know what to prepare."
Fu Hanyan sighed in defeat, "I should have called my sister-in-law out."
"It’s the sa if you called her out. She didn’t handle the first child, and your brother prepared everything for the second. Maybe you should ask my brother to get so advice. I really can’t manage."
Fu Hanyan was completely defeated at this point.
"Forget it, I’ll just stick to my list and choose from it."
Nan Bingyu smiled openly yet felt a pang of heartache.
She thought Xi Yihang hadn’t left any traces in her life, but upon careful reflection, he had long since perated her life. Even the smallest matters were sohow connected to him.
Especially with those two children, in the past two years, he had been hands-on with everything involving them; she hadn’t even attended a single parent-teacher eting.
Nan Bingyu couldn’t help but wonder, if they truly divorced, would she really be able to keep the two children?
"Xiao Yu? Xiao Yu?"
"Hmm?"
"What are you thinking about? You seem distracted. Are you tired?"
Nan Bingyu shook her head, "I’m fine, just a bit sleepy."
"Then let’s head back. Next ti we can prepare the rest with a checklist."
"Yeah, let’s go."
At night, Nan Bingyu lay in bed scrolling through her phone when Xi Yihang ca out of the bathroom, wrapping her in his arms.
"I heard you went shopping with your sister-in-law today and didn’t know what to buy in the end?"
For so reason, Nan Bingyu detected a hint of gloating mockery and glared at him, "So what if I did? Are you going to laugh at too?"
