On the day of departure to Beijing, Chi Jianshan suddenly said he wouldn’t go with them.
It happened so suddenly, no one was prepared.
Chi Yue stared at him blankly, "Why aren’t you going again?"
They had agreed earlier to go together, and Chi Jianshan had promised, but now he hadn’t even packed his luggage.
Chi Jianshan said, "I’m old now, I won’t be running around with you. The company is still here, leaving soone here ans any issues can be handled promptly. You go, just call often."
Chi Yue pressed her lips together, seemingly not ntally prepared.
Fu Rongyin, however, understood and said, "That’s fine, you’ve decided, we’ll do as you say. I’ll take good care of Yueyue and Mianmian, they won’t suffer any more grievances."
"With your word, I’m relieved. If they suffer grievances, I will co deal with you! Alright, go on, don’t miss the flight."
Chi Yue was reluctant to leave, but thinking that she couldn’t stay in Beijing for long anyway, she let go of her hesitation.
"Take a good rest during this ti, we’ll still need your help with Mianmian when we get back."
Chi Jianshan waved his hand, "Go on."
After sending Chi Yue off, Chi Jianshan took out the things he prepared the night before and left.

In front of the tombstone was a bouquet of flowers, fresh with a note on it.

In the early autumn weather, there was a slight chill. Chi Yue had just put a coat on Fu Mianmian, when her shoulder felt a weight, Fu Rongyin draped his suit jacket over her.
She paused, didn’t refuse, "Thank you."
Fu Mianmian was sowhat resistant to the unfamiliar place, Fu Rongyin picked her up, turned to Qi Hongwen and said, "We’ll stay at a hotel for a couple of days, just co find us if there’s sothing."
Qi Hongwen disapproved, "Since you’re back, how can you not go ho?"
"That’s your ho."
Qi Hongwen was choked, "It will be your ho too in the future."
"We’ll talk about it later."
Seeing Qi Hongwen’s face turning dark, Chi Yue quickly said, "I have another Siheyuan, we can stay there. As for going ho, let’s wait until Mianmian gets used to the environnt here."
ntioning Mianmian, Qi Hongwen relented, "Alright, we’ll talk about it then, I’ll take you there first to get familiar with the place."
The group went to the Siheyuan, and Qi Hongwen was quite satisfied, calling people to clean, and stayed for dinner with them before leaving.
Fu Rongyin had so things to tell Chi Yue in advance, but when he returned after sending Qi Hongwen off, Chi Yue was already asleep holding Fu Mianmian.
Quietly watching the sleeping faces of the mother and daughter for a while, he tucked them in and went to another room.
Chi Yue had a good sleep and only realized after waking up that Fu Rongyin had not returned to the room last night.
She walked out of the room, and happened to see Fu Rongyin coming out of another room, raising her eyebrows slightly.
Fu Rongyin explained, "You two were sleeping soundly last night, so I didn’t wake you."
Chi Yue was about to say sothing when Qi Hongwen walked in with dark circles under his eyes and a stern face.
"Co over here, I’ve got sothing to tell you."
The couple exchanged a glance and followed him in.
"You’d better be careful, the old man has brought Zhan Youyou out."
