The incident of Gu Qingyu slitting her wrists was told to her by Chu Shuo, Nan Bingyu hadn’t ntioned it to her, probably because she hadn’t received the news.
This news had been kept so tight, it ant soone was deliberately controlling it, and she didn’t want to cause trouble for anyone.
Fu Rongyin looked at her, seeming to try to see through her thoughts by looking into her eyes, but unfortunately, there were no ripples in Chi Yue’s gaze.
Fu Rongyin released her, “Go make sothing to eat.”
Chi Yue got up and walked to the kitchen.
The kitchen door was not closed, and she heard Fu Rongyin lowering his voice to make a phone call in the living room, but she couldn’t make out what he was saying.
To Chi Yue’s surprise, Fu Rongyin ended up staying the night.
After dinner, he took her into the bathroom, and after so exertion to aid digestion, he then carried her back to bed and wouldn’t stop until she was completely worn out.
When she woke up in the morning, Fu Rongyin was nowhere to be seen.
This was the first ti he had woken up before her.
Chi Yue felt montarily unaccustod to this change and sat on the bed, staring blankly at the other half of the bed that had already cooled down.
Nan Bingyu’s phone call interrupted her thoughts.
She picked up, and Nan Bingyu’s voice ca from the other end, “Yueyue, I heard that Gu Qingyu slit her wrists, didn’t die, and she’s getting discharged from the hospital today!”
Upon hearing this, Chi Yue imdiately realized why Fu Rongyin had been acting so abnormally.
“Yueyue, did you hear what I said?”
“Mhm, go on.”
Nan Bingyu said, “Such a big incident with Gu Qingyu was covered up, and what’s more, the Fu Family let Fu Rongyin go to pick her up from the hospital.

Nan Bingyu looked at Chi Yue and picked up, “Chu Shuo?”
Chu Shuo on the other end seed very anxious, “Quickly go to Chi Yue’s place and have her stay at your family’s house for a couple of days, not your apartnt.”
Nan Bingyu showed a look of astonishnt, “What happened?”
“Don’t ask why for now, just the sooner, the better.”
