The plain little face instantly darkened, "Was it Fu Rongyin who did this?"
Fu Hanyan’s eyes brimd with worry, and she hesitated before finally saying, "I just woke up too, Nan Yuan is not here, and now we can only wait until we land to try and contact them."
Resentnt smoldered in Chi Yue’s eyes.

She said why he had to appear at such a dangerous ti and even thought to take her to the mountain’s peak, clearly he had preditated it, deceiving her there and getting her to lower her guard.
Thinking it over, she realized there must have been sothing wrong with that bottle of water.
Rembering that unremarkable face, Chi Yue felt her teeth itch with hatred.
Fu Hanyan, fearing Chi Yue would beco too agitated, soothed her, "Don’t be angry, maybe Nan Yuan knows sothing, we’ll contact him right after we get off the plane."
Chi Yue suppressed her rage, "I fell for Fu Rongyin’s trap, but how were you tricked?"
Fu Hanyan shook her head, "I was at ho waiting for news from you all. I don’t know how, but I fell asleep unexpectedly. I shouldn’t have been able to sleep."
"Has soone been to the house?"
"I have no recollection of that."
Chi Yue fell into deep thought.
A flash of insight crossed her mind, and she found it unbelievable.
Yet, aside from this fact, she could not think of any other possibility.
The two remained silent for the rest of the flight, and the plane finally landed.
As they walked out of the exit, they saw Nan Bingyu waving at them from a distance.
They exchanged a glance and both quickened their pace.
Nan Bingyu imdiately gave them a big hug, "I’ve missed you so much, how could you pull such a stunt? You didn’t even call to let know you’re safe; wanted to surprise , huh?"
Chi Yue suddenly asked her, "How did you know we were coming back today?"
"My brother called , by the ti he called, you were already on the plane. Honestly, if I hadn’t picked up the call, who would have co to pick you up?"
Fu Hanyan inhaled sharply, "Nan Yuan gave you the call?"
As she spoke, she took out her cellphone and dialed Nan Yuan’s number, only to be t with the chanical voice of an operator stating the phone was switched off.
Fu Hanyan seed to suddenly realize sothing and pressed her thin lips together without speaking.
Chi Yue’s expression also took a turn for the worse, while Nan Bingyu remained oblivious.
Seeing the silence, she couldn’t help but ask, "What’s wrong with you guys?"
Chi Yue said gravely, "We’ll talk when we get back."
Nan Bingyu realized sothing was wrong; her heart sank as well.
Back at the Chi family ho, Fu Mianmian saw Chi Yue appear out of nowhere. She was shocked and overjoyed, finally climbing onto Chi Yue and bursting into tears.
Chi Yue’s anger dissolved by half with her crying, temporarily pushing the matter with Fu Rongyin to the back of her mind as she comforted Fu Mianmian and took her away.
Fortunately, Fu Mianmian fell asleep not long after. Chi Yue settled Fu Mianmian in and returned to the living room where Nan Bingyu and Fu Hanyan were still present.
However, Nan Bingyu looked somber, presumably having been filled in on the situation by Fu Hanyan.
She walked over and directly shared her plan, "Now, we can be sure Fu Rongyin hasn’t lost his mory, I plan to go back there tomorrow. As for this matter, keep it a secret from Nan Yuan for now."
She paused, then asked, "Have you gotten in touch with Nan Yuan?"
The worry in Fu Hanyan’s eyes grew more pronounced, "We can’t reach him. There’s no point in you going now; you won’t be able to help. Better to stay here and wait for news."
Nan Bingyu felt the sa, "You’ve just gotten back, you should stay at ho for now. We’ll discuss it once we’ve contacted my brother."
Chi Yue frowned, about to speak, when Chi Jianshan suddenly walked over, "You all just stay at ho. Let them handle the situation over there."
Chi Yue turned around abruptly, her voice filled with anger, "Are you in cahoots with them too?!"
