Fu Rongyin got in the car and drove towards the kindergarten. His expression was tight the whole way, and Chi Yue did not dare to speak to him, let alone ask him when he had arrived or how much he had heard.
When the car arrived at the entrance of the kindergarten, Fu Rongyin said to her, "Stay in the car, I’ll go pick up Mianmian."
Chi Yue nodded.
A call ca in on the phone; it was from Dai Qiu.
"Mr. Chi, Fu Xingchuan is here, and he’s dead drunk. What do you suggest we do?"
Fu Xingchuan hadn’t co over for a long ti. Why had he co again?
Chi Yue’s head was throbbing in pain, "Call the Fu Family, let them send soone to pick him up."
"But... it was the Fu Family who brought him here. Do you want to co and take a look?"
Chi Yue’s brows furrowed tightly, "Was this Fu Runan’s idea?"
"It should be, Mr. Chi, you better co back. He’s started to go crazy again."
Even through the phone, Chi Yue could hear Fu Xingchuan calling out her na.
Fu Rongyin, holding Fu Mianmian, got into the car, and Chi Yue moved to the back seat, taking Fu Mianmian into her arms. Perhaps she accidentally activated the speakerphone, and suddenly Dai Qiu’s voice blared in the cabin.
"Mr. Chi, Fu Xingchuan has barged into your office. It’s bad, I have to stop him, hurry over, I can’t hold him back anymore..."
The call was disconnected, and Chi Yue looked up to et Fu Rongyin’s deep eyes.
Chi Yue spoke flatly, "Dai Qiu called , saying that the Fu Family had brought Fu Xingchuan to the studio, and he’s having a drunken rampage."
Fu Rongyin looked away and didn’t say a word, starting the car.
Chi Yue wanted to speak several tis but held back, afraid of deepening their conflict. They had an agreent not to argue in front of the child.
She thought she could manage to take Fu Mianmian ho and then co out again in ti.
But before long, she heard Fu Mianmian happily say, "Mommy, daddy didn’t take us ho. Are we going sowhere fun?"
Chi Yue glanced and realized they were on the way to the studio. She couldn’t help but look at Fu Rongyin.
But he didn’t glance at her at all, focusing seriously on driving.
Chi Yue couldn’t help but be moved; at the end of the day, it was still her pettiness that was at fault.
When they arrived at the studio, Chi Yue let Fu Mianmian stay with Fu Rongyin and went upstairs first.
Fu Xingchuan lay sprawled out on the sofa of her office, clearly drunk. He knew where he was and who he was looking for.
Yet to say he wasn’t drunk, he had thrown up all over the floor.
Dai Qiu and two employees had just finished cleaning when Chi Yue pushed the door and entered.
Dai Qiu heaved a great sigh of relief, "The savior is finally here. Mr. Chi, please talk to him."
"Where is the person who brought him here?"
"Fu Xingchuan sent him downstairs. Didn’t you see him?"
Chi Yue shook her head; she had been too anxious to look around when she ca up.
She whispered to Dai Qiu, "Go get the Fu Family’s people here, and if they don’t co, say this..."
Dai Qiu was sowhat worried, but since Chi Yue had said so, she must be confident.
As soon as Dai Qiu left, Fu Xingchuan sat up from the sofa, "Chi Yue, you finally ca. I’ve been waiting for you for so long; why didn’t you co find ?"
Chi Yue leaned against the office door, showing no intention of entering, "You’re having a drunken fit here; there’s nothing I can do. Go back, while you’re still not thrown out."
Fu Xingchuan looked mournful, "We haven’t seen each other for so long; can’t you let look at you a bit longer?"
"Seen now? Now that you have, leave. We’re off work now."
Fu Xingchuan didn’t move, silently sitting on the sofa.
After a very long ti, he finally spoke again, "Chi Yue, you really are heartless. Even though you’re about to get divorced, you still won’t give a chance."
Chi Yue’s face darkened, and just as she was about to speak, a voice from behind spoke up sooner.
"So, you’re really looking forward to our divorce. Too bad, we’re not planning to divorce."
