He glanced at the caller ID, his eyes darkening slightly, but after hesitating for two seconds, he hung up the phone.
After walking another couple of steps, Fu Rongyin’s phone rang again – it was the number of that doctor.
Who knows what he said over the phone, but Fu Rongyin’s expression suddenly changed drastically, and he turned his head back fiercely, just in ti to see a leg being extended out of a window on the third floor of the outpatient building – it belonged to Lu Nanxi.
Fu Rongyin, with an icy expression, stepped toward Lu Nanxi.
Suddenly, soone tugged at the hem of his clothes.
He looked back and saw Chi Yue with a serious face, saying, "Even I can see she’s using this thod to force you to return. Are you still going to fall for it?"
Fu Rongyin took her hand, a trace of worry in his eyes, "Yueyue, the child in her belly mustn’t be hard."
Chi Yue’s grip tightened slightly, "So even though you know she’s doing it on purpose, you still willingly step into the trap she has set?"
Fu Rongyin said nothing, but his eyes clearly betrayed him.
Chi Yue was unwilling to give up, "If I say, if you go back to her now, we will never again have a chance, will you still go?"
Fu Rongyin seed shocked by her words, and after a long pause, he still insisted, "The child in her belly mustn’t be hard."
At that mont, Chi Yue heard the sound of her heart breaking.

Chi Yue’s eyes were resolute, lacking any warmth as she looked at him.
He had a premonition that if he went to Lu Nanxi now, Chi Yue would drift away from him.

Chi Yue didn’t go to the parking lot to get a car, instead, she went to the main entrance to hail a cab.
Fu Xingchuan’s car conveniently stopped in front of her, "Sister, I knew you ca for a follow-up visit, can I offer you a ride?"
Without thinking, Chi Yue opened the door and got in, "Sure, let’s go, I’ll treat you to a al."
Fu Xingchuan raised his eyebrows, unable to hide his joy, "Does this an, I’m beginning to have so luck with romance?"

Fu Xingchuan felt happiness rush in so quickly that he was almost unable to react, "You... you’ve agreed to be with ?"

"I get it! Sister, I’ll definitely do my best. I won’t disappoint you in any aspect," he said, even throwing Chi Yue a flirtatious glance.
Chi Yue pretended not to see and looked out the window instead.
The scenery along the way soothed her discontent, and she thought, with so many beautiful sights in the world, why not broaden her horizons?
Little did she know, the scene of her getting into Fu Xingchuan’s car was seen by Fu Rong, who had turned back. He almost subconsciously hastened his steps to chase after them, but how could two legs outrun four wheels?
