"Is it important?" Yueyue interrupted him, "Fu Rongyin, we’re already over. Whatever you have with her, it’s not important at all."
"Yueyue..."
"Don’t call that!" Yueyue was no longer able to control her emotions, "However it is between you two, it’s no concern of mine. I don’t want to know. If you’re a man, have the guts to sign the divorce agreent."
"I won’t get a divorce."
Fu Rongyin had never taken a stand on the divorce agreent, but now he was quite certain when he told her he wouldn’t divorce.
It was as if Yueyue heard sothing laughable, "On what grounds won’t you divorce?"
"I won’t get a divorce, Yueyue, I can explain."
"Explain what? Explain that while I was agonizing in front of the ICU tonight, you found ti to et your lover? Or maybe when your daughter had a fever and there was no one to take care of her, you were declaring love to your lover under the moon? Fu Rongyin, what is there for you to explain? You don’t even want your daughter anymore, and you still want to see her at this ti? If you can’t stay away from her, why have you been dragging your feet and not going through with the divorce procedures with ?"
Fu Rongyin moved his lips but couldn’t say a word.
When the two were at an impasse, Nan Yuan ca jogging over.
Seeing the ss on the ground, he was startled at first, then he walked over to Yueyue and shielded her behind him.
"Lu Nanxi is waiting for you downstairs, Fu Rongyin, are you going to leave with her?"
Fu Rongyin didn’t move, "She’s not soone I called."
Nan Yuan scoffed, "She’s not soone you called, then how would she know Mianmian is in this hospital? Fu Rongyin, as a man, I really despise you. Just go."
Fu Rongyin, however, looked at Yueyue, whose eyes were red with bloodshot veins, and what shocked him was that the way she looked at him was as if she was looking at soone she had deep hatred for.
In the end, Fu Rongyin still left.
Yueyue had cald down and expressed her thanks. She asked, "How is Mianmian doing now?"
"She’s fine, just a common cold and fever, currently on an IV. She’ll be better once the fever subsides," Nan Yuan looked towards the intensive care unit, "How is the Old Lady now?"
A flicker crossed Yueyue’s brow, and tears started falling.
"Nan Yuan, I’m scared..."
She was truly afraid.
It was the sa situation with Bai Qing back then, and then she never woke up again. Yueyue wasn’t sure if she could bear to go through that again.
Nan Yuan comforted her, "Don’t worry, I’ll contact a friend first, see if there’s a way."
Nan Yuan had many doctor friends from his studies abroad. Although he said this, everyone understood all too well that at the Old Lady’s age, compounded with a cerebral hemorrhage, her ti was running out.
After Bai Bixuan and Situ En arrived, Nan Yuan and Situ En went to the doctors’ office, leaving Bai Bixuan with Yueyue.
Bai Bixuan’s eyes were red-rimd; it was obvious she had cried on the way.
"Yueyue~"
She probably wanted to hear so comforting words from Yueyue, but even Yueyue herself didn’t believe those words, and she didn’t know what to say.
But still, she said, "Grandma will wake up."
Bai Bixuan’s eyes turned even redder, "My dad should be back soon too."
Yueyue nodded and said no more.
Bai Dongyang arrived at the hospital in the latter half of the night. With them around, Yueyue had the chance to visit Fu Mianmian.
It was also at this ti that everyone learned that Fu Mianmian had been admitted to the hospital.
Yueyue declined their offer to visit, saying no matter what, her situation took precedence. She would take a look and then co back.
Only Fu Hanyan and Fu Mianmian were in the ward; Fu Mianmian had already fallen asleep. Fu Hanyan, holding her computer, sat beside her, occasionally glancing at the IV bag.
