Chi Yue saw Chu Shuo and Fu Rao, and their faces were vying with each other for darkness.
Chu Shuo’s eyes still held so reluctance, and after a long while, he said, "Why bother? If you really want to know sothing, couldn’t you just ask him?"
Fu Rao pursed his lips, seemingly lost in thought.
Chi Yue cald herself, saying, "I still don’t believe the divorce certificate is real. Which of you can help arrange a eting with him?"
Chu Shuo and Fu Rao exchanged glances, but neither said a word.
Chi Yue smiled, "Never mind, I’ll figure it out myself."
As she turned to leave, her hand was grabbed, and Chi Yue imdiately shook off his hold, "Fu Rao, even if I am not your fifth aunt, I am still a married woman, please show so respect."
Fu Rao withdrew his hand awkwardly, "Do you care about him that much? Is he the only one for you?"
"It’s not that he’s the only one for , it’s that he’s the only one in my heart and eyes."
"Is that so? Then how do you explain what happened between us?"

Fu Rao’s face was filled with pent-up emotion, "So, you never truly loved at all?"
Chi Yue didn’t reply, but her aning was clear.
Chu Shuo couldn’t bear to listen any longer. He pulled Fu Rao to the door, warning, "If you don’t want Lao Wu to find out about this, you’d better stop talking like that, or no one can help you."
Fu Rao smirked with scorn, "They’re already divorced, with the divorce certificate laid out right there. Chi Yue is a free person."
Chu Shuo narrowed his eyes, "She may be free, but what about you? Don’t forget, you too have a family."
Those words made Fu Rao’s complexion worsen.
But Chu Shuo disregarded his feelings and forcibly stuffed him into the car, "I’m warning you, don’t make trouble."
After slamming the car door, Chu Shuo watched as the vehicle drove away and then he returned to the Bai Family’s house.
Mrs. Bai Senior ca out at so point and was sitting in the living room, along with Chi Yue and Bai Bixuan.
Chu Shuo greeted them and took a seat as well.
No one spoke.
It was Mrs. Bai Senior who finally broke the silence.
"You all have been keeping so much from lately; I won’t ask. I’m getting old and won’t interfere in young people’s business anymore. Miss Yue, you rember what Grandma told you before, right?"
Chi Yue clenched her hands nervously.
Seeing this, Mrs. Bai Senior chuckled bitterly, "I’m not so ferocious beast; what are you afraid of? I just want to tell you that no matter what decision you make, I will support you. If there’s sothing you can’t handle, just talk to your uncle. After all, you only have us few relatives left."
That suffocating feeling appeared again.
Chi Yue suppressed the sourness in her heart, "Grandma, don’t worry, I will handle this matter properly and won’t follow my mother’s path."

Chi Yue followed Chu Shuo out and returned to the villa, where she took care of Fu Mianmian as if nothing was wrong.
While Fu Mianmian was sleeping, Chu Shuo went to see Chi Yue again.
