Lu Nanxi’s smile deepened, “You recognize her? I thought you wouldn’t recognize her, but I guess being a pillow talker pays off.”
Fu Rongyin’s chill intensified, “Speak!”

It was a long while before Fu Rongyin opened his laptop; the video was still playing. Fu Rongyin’s hands clenched into fists, veins on his arms bulging, his eyes nearly spewing fire.

That night, Fu Rongyin returned very late.
Chi Yue, half-conscious, heard a noise and opened her eyes to find Fu Rongyin standing at the foot of the bed.
She turned on the bedside lamp and sat up, her voice hoarse, “Why are you standing there? Aren’t you going to sleep?”
Fu Rongyin didn’t move.
Chi Yue moved closer to him with her hands and feet, and a waft of alcohol scent ca to her, snapping her out of her drowsiness, “Have you been drinking?”
Given his current health condition, he shouldn’t touch alcohol.
Displeasure written on her face, Chi Yue scolded, “Fu Rongyin, you’re too irresponsible with your health! The doctor said you should take care of your health for the next two years, how could you drink?”
The dark room was finally filled with the man’s deep voice, “What about you?”
Chi Yue was startled, “? What about ?”
“Didn’t you go drinking today as well? Did eting Nan Yuan remind you of so unhappy past?”
Chi Yue’s expression gradually paled, silent for a long ti.

“Did you see it with your own eyes, or hear it with your own ears? Fu Rongyin, can’t you stop this unreasonable behavior?”
Unreasonable?
He had been worried that Fan Xuesong might do sothing to her and their child, so there had always been bodyguards around Chi Yue and Fu Mianmian. She was aware of this, yet in her eyes, what should have been a certain truth, had now beco his unreasonableness.
Fu Rongyin couldn’t hide the fierceness in his eyes. His fists clenched and unclenched, tightening and relaxing until his emotions eased considerably.
But the mont he looked up at her, he involuntarily rembered the woman in the video.
Fearing he might hurt her if he couldn’t control himself, he turned and walked out.
Chi Yue sat stunned for a few seconds, then, belatedly, chased after him.
“Fu Rongyin, what’s gotten into you? If there was really sothing between and Nan Yuan, where would you fit into my life? What’s co over you? Did soone say sothing to you?”
Fu Rongyin halted, stepped into the guest room, and slamd the door behind him, the slamming sound deafening.
The noise jolted Chi Yue to a stop.
She couldn’t believe it; everything was fine when she left, and only a short ti had passed before he began treating her like this.
The ringing of a cell phone ca from the room. Chi Yue gave the direction of the guest room a deep, lingering look before turning back to her room.
The call was from Nan Bingyu.
“Yueyue, are you…okay?”
“I’m fine, wait, why do you ask like that?”
“Well, a friend of mine told that today Lu Nanxi bribed soone at Fu Rongyin’s company and barged into his office. I don’t know what they talked about, but Fu Rongyin’s mood has been off all day, and I can’t help but guess it has sothing to do with you, so I called to check on you.”

A fla of naless anger rose in Chi Yue’s heart. She hung up the phone, rushed to the guest room door, burst in without knocking.
Fu Rongyin, having taken off his jacket, was heading to the bathroom and was caught off guard by the sound, not expecting her to follow him in.

Caught off guard, Fu Rongyin’s lips soon curled into a mocking smile, which Chi Yue saw clearly.
“Aren’t you going to leave with Fu Rao?”
