After much thought, that was the only thing that could explain his odd behavior tonight.
He must have sohow found out that she and Chu Shuo had returned to the apartnt complex together and entered the elevator together.
However, the next second, he grabbed her ankle and pulled her in front of him.
Chi Yue exclaid, instinctively wrapping her arms around his neck to stabilize herself.

Upon hearing this, a vein throbbed on Chi Yue’s forehead.

She was pulled into his arms, and her harsh words were choked back.
Chi Yue found that Fu Rongyin had completely cornered her, and she softened in just a mont.
Sleepless, Chi Yue called her supervisor the next day and slept the whole day.
When she opened her eyes, it was already evening.
Chi Yue looked around blankly, then looked beside her, and felt sothing cold already.
She sat for a while, slowly got up, turned on the light, and washed up.
Having not eaten all day, she didn’t have the energy to cook, so she simply ordered takeout.
After a long wait, soone finally rang the doorbell, and when Chi Yue opened the door, she was stunned.
“Chu Shuo?”
Chu Shuo was holding a shopping bag, which he lifted in front of her, “I’ve co to mooch a al.”
Chi Yue stiffened.
“What’s wrong, is it inconvenient?
Or did I co too late?” Chu Shuo asked.
Chi Yue shook her head, “Neither, it’s just that I ordered food delivery just now.”
Chu Shuo regretfully said, “Then I miss out on a treat, here, keep this for now, I’ll let you know in advance next ti I co over for a al.”

okay.”
Chi Yue put whatever Chu Shuo had given her into the fridge, then checked her phone to see where her delivery was.
The next second, the doorbell rang again.
Chi Yue went to open the door, finally receiving her food delivery.
She took the delivery intending to close the door, but a hand stopped it.
Chi Yue looked out, puzzled, eting a pair of dark phoenix eyes.
While she was still stunned, she was pushed inside, walking towards the dining table with a bag.
Seeing her still standing there, the man frowned, “What are you standing there for?”
Chi Yue slowly moved over and watched him open the food box, suddenly finding the takeout in her hands less appealing.
After a brief struggle, Chi Yue set the takeout aside and sat down at the dining table.
Fu Rongyin placed the items in front of her, “I was held up.”
Chi Yue: “Are you explaining to why you didn’t co over?”
“You could say that.”
Seeing that he had brought many of her favorites, Chi Yue decided not to hold it against him and began eating.
Fu Rongyin, seeing this, took the rest to the fridge to freeze.
Upon opening the fridge and seeing the cramd storage compartnts, Fu Rongyin’s expression darkened.
“I didn’t know you went out,” he said.
Without turning her head, Chi Yue answered, “I just got up not long ago and haven’t left the house.”
Suddenly thinking of sothing, she turned around, eting Fu Rongyin’s sinister eyes, and quickly said, “Let explain…”
