209: Chapter 209: It’s you!
Fu Rongyin calmly placed her hand on her abdon, “Think more about him.”
Chi Yue stiffened.
But the next second, she wrapped her arms around his waist again, “Just be careful, okay?”
Chi Yue wasn’t one to take initiative often, but whenever she did, it was too much for Fu Rongyin to resist.
With the last of his rationality, he pushed her away and flipped over, “Not interested.”
Chi Yue stared at his back for a long ti.
Then she too turned over, giving up on that approach.
The next morning, Chi Yue got up early, prepared breakfast, and waited for Fu Rongyin to wake up.
Fu Rongyin didn’t refuse the breakfast she prepared, and the two of them got along quite well.
After breakfast, Chi Yue thoughtfully helped Fu Rongyin with his shoes and handed him his bag, watching him enter the elevator.
Finally, just before the elevator doors closed, Fu Rongyin spoke.
“Nan Bingyu will be released today.”
Chi Yue was taken aback.
By the ti she ca to her senses, the elevator doors had already closed.
She let out a huge sigh of relief.
If Fu Rongyin hadn’t relented, she didn’t know what she would have done.
Before heading to the police station, Chi Yue called Xi Yihang, and they agreed to pick up Nan Bingyu together.
Upon arriving at the police station, Chi Yue discovered that the person Fu Rongyin sent had already finished the paperwork and was leading Nan Bingyu out.
Upon seeing Chi Yue, Nan Bingyu hurried toward her.
“Yueyue!”
Chi Yue tried to hug her but was dodged, “I’m dirty, let get cleaned up at ho before we hug.”
Chi Yue smiled and pulled her in, “What does that matter now, you’re still so particular.”
Nan Bingyu hugged her tightly, “Thank you, Yueyue.”
“It’s what I should do.
Let’s go ho first, get cleaned up, and then we can have a nice al.”
“Okay.”
Nan Bingyu looked around and then heard Chi Yue say, “Lawyer Xi is on his way, but he has so trouble walking, so it might take a bit longer.”
Nan Bingyu said, “Then let’s hurry, I don’t want him to see like this…”
Back at Nan Bingyu’s apartnt, while she was freshening up, Chi Yue sent a ssage to Fu Rong.
After sending the ssage, she put her phone away, knowing well that Fu Rongyin wouldn’t reply to her ssage.
Once they were both ready, Xi Yihang called to say he was already waiting for them at the restaurant.
Nan Bingyu drove Chi Yue there.
On the way, Nan Bingyu looked at Chi Yue’s belly, “How is…
the baby?”
Chi Yue: “I don’t feel anything.”
“It’s normal not to feel anything at such an early stage.”
Chi Yue hesitated before teasing, “You seem quite experienced?”
Nan Bingyu glared at her, “What are you joking about, do I look like that kind of person to you?”
Chi Yue laughed without answering.
Chatting and laughing, they soon arrived at the restaurant Xi Yihang had booked.
As soon as Chi Yue walked into the restaurant, she bumped into Xu Zhenwen, who was coming toward her.
Nan Bingyu instinctively shielded Chi Yue behind her, taking her hand and striding forward.
“Wait a second,” Xu Zhenwen said to Chi Yue, “I have sothing to tell you.”
Chi Yue was about to tell Nan Bingyu to go inside when Nan Bingyu preempted her, “Say whatever you have to say here.
Yueyue is hungry, and her current condition doesn’t allow her to go without food.”
Xu Zhenwen glanced at her, sowhat displeased, “You’re the Nan Family girl, right?
You were able to co out today because my son pulled so strings for you inside.
With that attitude, I could easily send you back in.”
Nan Bingyu suddenly looked at Chi Yue.
Chi Yue then told her that her release had nothing to do with Fu Rongyin!
Feeling Nan Bingyu’s gaze, Chi Yue said, “You go on up, I’ll be there in a mont.”
“No!
You wait, I’ll go call Xi Yihang over.”
Just as she was speaking, Xi Yihang ca out from inside, leaning on a cane.
Nan Bingyu quickly made her way to Xi Yihang’s side, “You’ve co just in ti, she wants to take Yueyue away.”
Xu Zhenwen turned at the sound and her pupils suddenly constricted.
“It’s you!”
