It was quite a struggle, but they finally made it to their destination.

Cooper stepped out of the car and felt his body, mind, and ears were finally liberated.

Old Master Coldson was waiting in the car; they began to move their things together.

Cooper couldn’t help but complain to Yolanda, "I didn’t expect you to be so noisy."

"I didn’t expect you to be so sulky, Mr. Taciturn!" Yolanda retorted.

Richard had prepared everything ticulously and professionally; it was truly up to the standard of an overnight camping expedition.

Unfortunately, Cooper was clueless about all this gear; he couldn’t even set up a tent properly.

"Big brother, step aside," Yolanda couldn’t stand it anymore.

Cooper awkwardly moved aside, still talking tough, "I just don’t believe you can do it."

To his surprise, Yolanda didn’t even need to look at the instructions; she quickly erected a rough outline of the tent while occasionally directing Cooper.

"Co here, screw this on."

"This part, tighten it up."

Initially, Cooper was reluctant but gradually realized he could only act as her assistant.

He couldn’t help but ask Yolanda curiously, "How can a girl like you know how to do all these things?"

"I used to camp a lot with my club during college, so I learned," she responded.

"You sure know how to enjoy yourself," Cooper snorted. "No wonder you always fail your exams."

"Yes, I fail," admitted Yolanda, who didn’t do well in her studies and preferred drawing, "so, dear Mr. Perfect Scores, could you please ask Grandpa to co down?"

"Pfft!" Cooper turned to help Old Master Coldson out of the car.

Yolanda had started a bonfire by the river and placed chairs and fishing rods nearby.

Old Master Coldson looked on with satisfaction, patting Cooper’s hand, "If you miss out on such a good wife, where would you find another?"

"Grandpa," Cooper began slowly, "wasn’t I raised by you hands-on? Am I not good enough?"

This question left Old Master Coldson speechless, and he just shook his head smiling, "Cooper, sotis you’re just too good."

As they settled by the river, Old Master Coldson sent them away.

"Go further away; don’t scare away my fish."

Cooper was not reassured, "Grandpa, since when do fish have such keen ears?"

"Scram!" Old Master Coldson barked.

Yolanda tugged at Cooper, "Let’s go."

"Didn’t you say fishing is about finding peace of mind?"

Cooper reluctantly followed.

"You really are a blockhead," Yolanda shook her head, finding him hopeless.

Ignoring him, she went into the tent. It had to be said, Richard was indeed a perfect assistant; he even prepared a variety of card and board gas.

Yolanda browsed through them one by one until she finally found sothing she could play alone.

She played with gusto, occasionally glancing over at Old Master Coldson fishing not far away.

Cooper wandered around outside alone, but as he was cold and bored, he loitered over to the tent.

Seeing Yolanda inside eating fruit and thoroughly enjoying her ga, he wriggled in too.

Although the tent was not small, the addition of another person, especially one with their kind of relationship, inevitably made it feel cramped.

Yolanda’s cheerful face dimd instantly.

Naturally, Cooper noticed, "If you don’t want to stay, then leave."

Yolanda ignored him and continued playing.

After watching for a while, Cooper demanded arrogantly, "Teach how to play."

Yolanda felt he had no desire to learn and pretended not to hear.

But what kind of person was Cooper?

He waited a mont, and when Yolanda showed no intent to teach him, he directly ssed up the ga she was playing.

Yolanda glared at him angrily.

"Either we play together or neither of us plays," Cooper declared with confidence.

Reluctantly, Yolanda chose another ga, and they played together.

However, throughout the ga, Cooper’s lack of skill and domineering nature sparked frequent argunts between them.

Old Master Coldson listened from a distance, feeling content; this Cooper was finally acting like a real, living person.

He wasn’t wrong; Yolanda was Cooper’s redemption.

Noon ca around quickly, and the task of cooking naturally fell on Yolanda once more.

She skillfully set up a pot and started a fire, quickly making three delicious-slling plates of spaghetti.

Cooper wasn’t particular about food but found the spaghetti in his hand exceptionally fragrant, perhaps because Old Master Coldson had praised it too much.

"It’s so delicious, Yolanda’s cooking skills are fantastic."

"It’s got color, fragrance, and taste, better than what a Michelin three-star chef makes."

"How can our Yolanda be so incredible? Grandpa could eat three plates!"

Yolanda was both amused and embarrassed by Old Master Coldson’s extravagant praise.

anwhile, Isabella Ross finally noticed Old Master Coldson was gone from the old house.

She was an extrely intelligent woman and almost imdiately figured out that Cooper and Yolanda had taken Old Master Coldson out.

"It’s ridiculous! It must have been Yolanda’s idea!"

After all, her son would never do sothing so outrageous.

She thought for a mont and called lissa Greenwood.

"lissa, are you with Little Cooper?"

"No," lissa found it strange, "Around this ti, Cooper should be at the company."

Anyway, whenever she looked for Cooper during work hours, he was always busy.

"No?" Isabella sounded puzzled, "I called the company, and they said he didn’t co in today. Strange, Yolanda isn’t at ho either."

Upon hearing this, lissa clenched her phone tightly.

"Auntie, don’t worry. I’ll give him a call and check."

"Okay, no ergency on my end. I’ll hang up now," Isabella said contentedly, knowing lissa wouldn’t ignore it.

lissa imdiately called Cooper.

The mont the call connected, she heard a girl’s laughter and Old Master Coldson’s voice.

She guessed right away what was happening.

When Cooper saw it was her calling, he got up and took the call aside.

"lissa? What’s up?"

"Cooper, I hurt my arm; could you take to the hospital?"

"Where are you? I’ll send Richard to find you right away."

"Cooper, are you busy? Never mind, it’s okay, I’ll go to the hospital myself."

lissa feigned a cry of pain, as though she was seriously injured.

Cooper frowned and looked back at Old Master Coldson and Yolanda before saying into the phone, "Send your location; I’m on my way."

After hanging up, he called Richard and asked him to co and take Old Master Coldson and Yolanda ho.

"Grandpa, we’ve been playing outside all morning; it’s ti to head back."

Cooper cleaned up his things as he spoke.

"What’s the matter?" Old Master Coldson asked with confusion.

"Nothing," Cooper glanced guiltily at Yolanda, "I have sothing to attend to, so I’m leaving first. I’ve asked Richard to co to pick you up."

Old Master Coldson’s expression darkened; he had finally created an opportunity for Cooper and Yolanda to spend ti together.

He didn’t expect this little rascal to want to leave so soon.

He was about to curse when Yolanda stopped him.

Yolanda shook her head, "Grandpa, let him go."

She sighed wryly, "Even if you force him to stay now, his heart has already flown away."
