Yolanda Greenwood forced a smile.

"Grandfather, actually I... don’t like Cooper Coldson as much anymore."

She really wanted to say she didn’t like him, but when the words ca to her lips, she ultimately couldn’t voice them out.

She didn’t want to lie to her grandfather, and she couldn’t lie to herself either.

"Have you looked in the mirror?" Old Master Coldson said with a face full of pity. "Then think again if Grandfather can believe that?"

Tears imdiately ca to Yolanda’s eyes.

She quickly turned her back, wiping them away hastily, yet still insisted stubbornly, "Really, Grandfather, he’s not worth it."

"Ah," Old Master Coldson sighed with heartache; he was a bit unsteady as he sat down on the edge of the bed.

In fact, Cooper had an older brother, but he had always been abroad, and only Cooper grew up by his side.

If this child was truly not worth it, it was also Old Master Coldson’s failure to educate him properly.

But he always felt that his Little Cooper was a good kid. As for matters of the heart... maybe they truly couldn’t be forced?

"Yolanda," Old Master Coldson said with a heavy heart, "consider it as giving Grandfather one more chance, try again? If after so ti you still haven’t changed your mind, Grandfather won’t force you."

"Grandfather..." Yolanda turned around in surprise. She hadn’t expected the old man to relent on his own.

Old Master Coldson gave a wry smile. "You are all Grandfather’s good children, so Grandfather can’t keep being unfair to one for the sake of another, right?"

"Grandfather!" Yolanda’s tears fell like rain. "No matter what happens between Cooper and , you will always be my grandfather."

"Good, good child," Old Master Coldson said, also getting emotional, his eyes reddening.

Although this conversation had resolved one of Yolanda’s worries, it had also exacerbated Old Master Coldson’s illness slightly.

Therefore, in the afternoon, Yolanda took her sketchpad back to her room to practice.

She knew that what Old Master Coldson wanted most was for them not to divorce.

But was it possible? Would Cooper change his mind?

In the evening, the sound of laughter ca from downstairs. Yolanda listened and found it sowhat familiar.

She opened the door and went out, only to see Isabella Ross’s guest had arrived—it was lissa Greenwood.

When lissa saw Yolanda, she clearly stiffened.

She didn’t know Yolanda was at the Coldson Family’s old mansion; then what about Cooper... could it be that he had also been staying at the mansion recently?

The thought crossed her mind and a jealous glare flashed through her eyes.

At that mont, Cooper returned.

He frowned subconsciously when he saw lissa. "What are you doing here?"

"What kind of way is that to talk?" Isabella chided Cooper. "lissa is naturally here to visit."

"Cooper," lissa was truly going insane inside, "long ti no see."

So for all these days, Cooper had refused to see her because he was staying at the old mansion with Yolanda.

Cooper remained silent with a stern face.

He had said that when the ti ca, he would bring lissa to the Coldson Family, but he did not expect lissa to take it upon herself to co.

"lissa, don’t just stand there, sit down in the living room for a while. Dinner will be ready soon."

Isabella looked at Cooper, "Little Cooper, you should also entertain a bit."

Cooper glanced upstairs, saw Yolanda standing there, and called out, "Don’t you see we have guests? Why don’t you co down and entertain?"

At this remark, the faces of the three won changed.

Yolanda awkwardly tugged at the corner of her mouth, "Let change my clothes."

She was still wearing her painting clothes.

Cooper quietly walked upstairs, and lissa quickly followed.

"Cooper, are you angry?" she looked at him with a pitiful gaze.

Cooper Coldson silently observed her.

"Cooper, it was your mom who asked to co; I couldn’t refuse."

lissa Greenwood quickly explained.

"lissa Greenwood," Cooper Coldson called her full na again, "I warn you, don’t play gas with ."

He didn’t wait for lissa Greenwood to speak again and turned to leave.

lissa Greenwood was completely dumbfounded. Why was Cooper Coldson treating her like this now?

It must have been Yolanda Greenwood, that damn seductress.

"lissa," Isabella Ross said tily, "co wash your hands; dinner’s ready."

Old Master Coldson felt unwell and didn’t co down for dinner.

Yolanda Greenwood didn’t really want to go either, but she was so hungry that she braced herself to go downstairs with Cooper Coldson.

Today’s dinner was exceptionally lavish, clearly showing Isabella Ross’s welco for lissa Greenwood.

During dinner, Isabella Ross inquired with concern about lissa Greenwood’s overseas matters, constantly nodding in praise.

Soon, the topic circled back to the subject of having children.

"Now that the company’s affairs are all handed over to Little Cooper," Isabella Ross said with a bitter smile, "I’m truly bored at ho, always hoping they would have a child, but..."

"Mom!" Cooper Coldson glanced at lissa Greenwood and interrupted Isabella Ross, "I’ve told you so many tis, I don’t like children and don’t want them; don’t bring this up again."

lissa Greenwood spoke up with a muffled voice, "I can understand Auntie’s feelings, indeed, having a child at ho would make it livelier."

"Alright." For the first ti, Cooper Coldson served lissa Greenwood a piece of at, "Eat more."

Yolanda Greenwood even thought Cooper Coldson’s voice had softened a bit.

She just kept her head down, eating her al, pretending she didn’t exist, no matter what Isabella Ross said.

"Yes, lissa, do eat more. You’re just too skinny, and it’s worrying."

As she spoke, Isabella Ross glanced at Yolanda Greenwood, clearly dissatisfied with Yolanda eating so much and even gaining weight.

Her own son had beco skinnier. Why should Yolanda put on weight?

Finally, after what seed an eternity, dinner ended, and Isabella Ross asked Cooper Coldson to drive lissa Greenwood ho.

Yolanda Greenwood was struggling to keep her eyes open; she didn’t know why, but these days she felt sleepy as soon as she had eaten.

She saw Cooper Coldson glance her way in a daze and quickly chid in, "Yes, it’s getting late. Cooper, you should take your cousin ho."

All she could think about was ending this night quickly so she could go to sleep.

Without a word, Cooper Coldson turned and walked out; lissa Greenwood hurried after him.

On the way back, lissa Greenwood began with a pitiable tone, "Cooper, have you decided not to divorce Yolanda?"

Cooper Coldson had answered this question countless tis; he didn’t wish to answer anymore.

lissa Greenwood grew even more anxious, starting to sob softly, "Besides, your mother really wants grandchildren, and you being with Yolanda..."

"Enough!" Cooper Coldson cut her off impatiently, "You don’t need to take my mother’s words to heart."

"Furthermore," he looked at lissa Greenwood sternly, "I won’t easily change what I’ve said, so don’t be paranoid, and stop playing tricks."

lissa Greenwood quickly nodded, "Cooper, don’t worry, I’ll wait for you patiently."

"Only..." she hesitated before asking, "why are you living with Yolanda at the old house again? Why didn’t you tell ?"

"Grandfather is sick." Cooper Coldson sighed softly, "You know how much my grandfather adores Yolanda, so wait a bit longer."

So it was Old Master Coldson’s doing, the old bastard!

lissa Greenwood finally felt relieved, "Okay, I understand. Cooper, that’s tough for you."
