After Yolanda left the kindergarten, she frantically made phone calls, trying to reach everyone she knew, including Lola Gold, Sophie Taylor, and Daisy Dawson.

"Sister Yolanda, do you want to inform... Mr. Coldson?" Daisy Dawson now knew about the situation between Yolanda and Cooper Coldson, so she didn’t dare to make a decision on her own.

Yolanda hesitated for a mont before speaking, "Let think about it. If necessary, I’ll contact him myself."

"Okay, then Sister Yolanda, don’t be too anxious. I’ll post on my social dia and ask my friends to keep an eye out." Daisy Dawson didn’t want to take up too much of Yolanda’s ti and quickly hung up.

Yolanda quickly found Cooper Coldson’s number on her phone but was hesitant to call him. After all, she was the one who had drawn the line between them, and now she needed his help; it was hard to articulate.

"Miss, we’re here!" the driver’s voice suddenly rang out.

"Oh, thank you." Yolanda paid and quickly got out of the car. She decided to put her phone away for the mont until she spoke with Adam Sterling.

She strode into the Heart Island Counseling Room and imdiately asked the receptionist, "Where is Dr. Sterling?"

"He’s inside attending to a patient," the nurse replied truthfully.

"How long does a patient session last?" Yolanda was too anxious, "I’ve been calling him since two in the afternoon, and I can’t get through."

An hour and a half had already passed.

The young nurse smiled slightly, "Dr. Sterling is also busy with patients and probably hasn’t checked his phone."

Yolanda turned, ready to storm inside.

The nurse quickly grabbed her, "Ma’am, you absolutely can’t go in right now. If a hypnotherapy session is in progress, barging in might cause the patient to have an accident. Please wait patiently; this session will only last another fifteen minutes."

Yolanda was anxious but understood the seriousness of the situation, so she didn’t dare to rush in.

"I can’t wait any longer. After this session ends, have Adam call imdiately." She emphasized, "Rember, do not forget."

"Rest assured, ma’am," the nurse assured with a firm nod.

Yolanda left the counseling room again, but the thought of the vast crowd made her realize she knew nothing about the old man, completely clueless about where to start looking.

She broke down in tears, feeling utterly terrified.

Right then, her phone suddenly buzzed; it was a ssage from Cooper Coldson.

[An An told Ella is missing, don’t worry too much. I’ve already sent people to look for her, and I’m sure there will be news soon.]

Yolanda read the ssage, and imdiately the contrast between Adam Sterling and Cooper Coldson struck her, filling her with mixed emotions.

She sniffed and quickly replied to Cooper, [Thank you! I’m truly grateful!]

She knew feeling sorry for herself wouldn’t help; finding Little Ella was the most important thing right now. In the vast crowd, an extra pair of eyes ant extra hope.

Yolanda went to print out Little Ella’s photo and started asking people at a busy intersection.

"Excuse , have you seen this child? She might be with an old man."

"Didn’t notice."

"Hello, have you seen this child? She’s wearing a red dress..."

"No, haven’t seen her."

...

Elsewhere, Cooper Coldson’s team was obviously working at high efficiency. Finally, by six o’clock, soone reported seeing an old man with Little Ella in a park, and Cooper hurried over.

He didn’t rush to tell Yolanda, fearing it might be a false alarm.

At the park, Richard Reyes was already there, "President Coldson, I’ve confird it. It’s Ella."

"Good, that’s great." Cooper was overjoyed, "Where? Take there now. Ella isn’t hurt, is she?"

Richard hesitated before saying, "It seems the person who took Ella is really Adam Sterling’s father. He won’t hand over the child, and we don’t dare to act rashly. They’re over there, and I have people watching."

Cooper pulled out his phone to ssage Yolanda but hesitated at Richard’s words.

He rembered Adam ntioning this father, how he abandoned his family when Adam was very young and constantly changed won—a generally unreliable man.

However, this sort of guy was easier for Cooper to deal with; he just wasn’t sure about the relationship dynamics between this man, Adam, and Yolanda.

After so thought, he decided to call Yolanda.

Yolanda saw the incoming call from Cooper and imdiately answered. It had been an hour since she left the clinic, but Adam still hadn’t called.

"Any news?"

"Yes, we’ve found her in a park over here in the West Suburbs." Cooper first reassured Yolanda, "Don’t worry, Ella should be safe, but..."

He paused before continuing, "Yolanda, is this old man really Adam Sterling’s father?"

"I don’t know." Yolanda hastily got into a cab, "I haven’t been able to reach Adam, but... Adam recently said his dad passed away and ntioned that this old man is a criminal’s father seeking revenge on him."

"A criminal’s father?" Cooper frowned, "Then how does he have photos with Adam and even pictures from Adam’s childhood..."

Cooper felt sothing was off, "Besides, Ella went missing, and so did Adam?"

Yolanda sighed softly, "I don’t know; his phone... it’s been unreachable."

"Never mind, Yolanda, don’t worry. At least we can ensure Ella’s safety. I’ll talk to that old man and see what he wants. Stay calm; call Richard when you arrive, and don’t act impulsively."

"Okay, I understand." Yolanda said almost pleadingly, "Cooper, please, please ensure Ella’s safety."

"Don’t worry; she’s my daughter too."

After hanging up, Yolanda broke down in tears, sobbing as she urged the driver, "Please hurry, thank you."

Cooper gave Richard a few more instructions, then headed to the north side of the park, where he found the old man and Little Ella.

"Uncle Coldson!" Little Ella cried out eagerly upon seeing a familiar face, trying to run over but was held back by the old man.

"Don’t run around. I told you to wait until your dad picks you up." The old man warned coldly.

Little Ella pursed her lips in distress, "Then call Dad again; if you call, he’ll definitely answer."

"Heh..." the old man sneered, "That little bastard has his phone off. Just wait here with quietly."

"Hello there, sir!" Cooper stopped at an appropriate distance, "Are you Adam Sterling’s father? I’m a friend of Adam’s."

"No need for small talk with ," the old man raised his voice, "Have Adam co here; otherwise, no one will take his daughter away."

Cooper quickly assessed the situation—was this old man really here to take revenge on Adam? Was Ella truly in danger?

After a brief struggle, he spoke again, "Sir, there might be a misunderstanding; this child... isn’t Adam’s daughter. She’s my daughter!"
