After coming out of prison, the two sat silently in the car for a long ti.

"Can we talk about it?" Yolanda Greenwood finally spoke slowly, feeling that so of lissa Greenwood’s words had triggered her mory, but she couldn’t quite grasp what it was.

Cooper Coldson sighed deeply, every ti he thought about Yolanda’s past, it felt like a knife cutting through his heart.

His voice sounded exceptionally clear in the quiet car, "The mont you were born, you were exchanged. Your father was supposed to be Jaxon Greenwood, the Patriarch of the Greenwood Family, a rare good father, and your mother, Gemma Morgan, was soone everyone envied, but..."

"But after the exchange, you beca the daughter of the Greenwood family’s third son. Your father was a gambling addict, your mother was rude and unreasonable, and the worst part is, they didn’t care, so from the beginning, they never cared for you."

Yolanda looked at Cooper unable to accept this, biting her lip hard, confirming she wasn’t dreaming.

Cooper continued, "When you were four, you went on an island vacation with your family and the Greenwood Family head’s family, saving and my brother, but your parents just kept scolding you, saying you were useless. You’ve never dared to ntion it since. After college, we t again, and I mistakenly thought lissa Greenwood was the one who saved us then, failing you."

Yolanda found it unbelievable; is this the past she desperately tried to rember? Just listening to Cooper’s narrative brought her a suffocating pain.

"Later on..." Cooper struggled to continue, pausing for a mont before proceeding, "lissa was pregnant with soone else’s child and manipulated us into marrying. I always believed it was you who broke us apart, and I was extrely dissatisfied with you after we got married..."

His voice trembled slightly, "Later, lissa returned after giving birth, and again I distrusted you, tornting you until... you had the child, and we divorced."

"How could this happen?" At this mont, Yolanda still hadn’t recalled anything, listening to these words as if she were a spectator.

She didn’t harbor much hatred towards Cooper; instead, she felt the past was unfair to her. Fate played a cruel trick on her, and past Yolanda’s heartfelt love was ultimately misplaced.

"I’m sorry, I’m truly sorry." Cooper didn’t know how many tis he had said this, but knew saying it countless tis would be to no avail.

"Let’s go back." Yolanda felt utterly exhausted; there was too much to process. She needed ti to think, to gradually recall.

Or perhaps, even if she recalled, it wouldn’t matter—these damned mories she should indeed forget.

She closed her eyes, not wanting to say anything more.

"Alright." Cooper sighed deeply and started the car, taking Yolanda ho.

Downstairs, Yolanda got out of the car, staggering slightly, almost falling.

Cooper quickly went over to support her, "Are you alright? Do you need to see a doctor? You look unwell."

"No need." Yolanda wanted to push him away but was truly weak, "Just help to the elevator, thank you."

"Alright, be careful." Cooper cautiously supported Yolanda, bringing her to the elevator door, which hadn’t arrived yet.

Yolanda signaled Cooper to let go, leaning against the wall to steady herself, "Thank you, Cooper, for yesterday and today, thank you."

"Don’t ntion it," Cooper shook his head.

"But I have a request," Yolanda looked at him, eyes slightly red, "From today onwards, can we try not to et, is that okay?"

"Why?" Cooper looked panicked, "Did I do sothing wrong?"

Yolanda shook her head, "It’s not your fault, it’s not anyone’s fault, but I really want to commit myself to Adam Sterling, Cooper, can you respect my decision?"

"But..." Cooper didn’t want to accept it; not seeing Yolanda would feel unbearable for him.

"Please, I’m begging you, just like before when you went to the kindergarten late, that way I can occasionally visit An An," Yolanda sniffled, "Even though I haven’t recalled past events, I feel we were never ant to be; it’s ti to let go."

"No, I don’t want to..." Cooper was about to cry, his eyes reddened as he pleaded with her, "Yolanda, I’m begging you, don’t be so cruel. I just want to see you occasionally, I beg you."

"No!" Yolanda shook her head firmly, "If we et again, I’ll disappear, just like three years ago, making it impossible for you to find forever."

Cooper’s face turned ashen white instantly, even swaying as if he couldn’t stand stably.

The past three years, like a walking dead, he didn’t even dare to reminisce.

He didn’t dare insist further, promptly nodding repeatedly, "Alright, I promise you, I promise everything, we won’t et, I’ll not let you see again!"

The elevator ca then, Yolanda turned and entered the elevator.

She pressed the close button, looking at the man outside full of reluctance. She tugged her lips and mouthed, "Goodbye, Cooper, never see each other again!"

The elevator door closed, she could no longer support herself, collapsing into the corner, crying uncontrollably.

She probably really loved Cooper in the past, loved him deeply, and that love was slowly awakening. She couldn’t allow it, she must end it sooner.

Outside the elevator, Cooper soullessly returned to his car without knowing when.

He lay on the steering wheel, crying loudly even though he knew this was the inevitable outco but couldn’t accept it.

He hated his past self extrely, wishing he could go back in ti to kill himself.

"Yolanda! Yolanda!" He cried and shouted her na simultaneously, "I love you, I truly love you! What do I have to do to return to your side? Heaven, tell , what do I have to do?"

After exiting the elevator, Yolanda stood at the corridor window, letting the wind calm her mood before returning ho.

"Yolanda, you’re finally back." Unexpectedly, Lola Gold was there.

She noticed Yolanda’s red eyes and asked with concern, "Yolanda, what’s wrong? Did soone bully you?"

"No, I’m fine." Yolanda quickly turned her head, seeing Noah Coldson there as well, "Brother, you’re here too?"

"I called them over." Adam Sterling walked out of the kitchen holding fruit, "Go wash your face, we have sothing to discuss with you."

"Alright, Lola, Brother, please have a seat." Yolanda quickly returned to her bedroom.

"Seems like eting lissa Greenwood had quite a bit of emotional impact." Noah Coldson was the first to speak.

Lola Gold nodded in agreent.

Adam Sterling, however, sneered, "Or perhaps, it’s finally candid with Cooper Coldson, and the two are reigniting old feelings."

As he spoke, he moved to the window and looked down, "Wow, Noah Coldson, your brother’s car is still downstairs. Maybe Yolanda ca back to pack up and leave with him?"
