"What’s wrong?" Yolanda noticed Cooper Coldson’s expression and asked, slightly embarrassed, "Did I overact a bit?"

"No." Cooper snapped back to reality, "No, you acted well, help pick one quickly."

He turned his head, not wanting Yolanda to see his sad face. The more he reminisced about the past beauty, the more he loathed the mistakes he had made.

Quickly, Yolanda picked out two outfits. After they changed, they looked at each other and shared a smile.

Cooper nodded approvingly, "Hmm, not bad, like a vibrant and youthful college student."

Yolanda said nothing. Just seeing Cooper a mont ago, she almost saw him as he was in their college days.

"Where are we headed next?" After bidding farewell to the students, they left the clothing store. Yolanda’s steps were lighter than ever, as she genuinely felt the joy from back then.

"Follow , don’t worry, I won’t sell you off." Cooper quoted lines from the past, hesitated for a mont, then took Yolanda’s hand.

Yolanda shook his hand off.

"If we’re acting, we should go all the way, just play along a little." Cooper carefully hid his true feelings; back then, he never held Yolanda’s hand.

During college, most of the ti, it was Yolanda chasing after him. Back then, his heart was focused on Coldson Group, constantly suppressing his emotions.

Now that he had the chance to go back, he wanted to indulge a little.

Yolanda ultimately acquiesced. However, feeling the warmth from Cooper’s palm, her heartbeat quickened.

Once in the car, Cooper finally let go of her hand. After seeing Yolanda fasten her seatbelt, they set off.

They headed west, stopping midway to buy so food, then arrived at the foot of the mountain.

When they reached halfway up the mountain, it was already noon. Cooper took out the food and sat on a stone to eat with Yolanda.

Sweat beaded on Yolanda’s forehead, but she felt a bit exhilarated, "It’s been a long ti since I exercised; my stamina is lagging a bit."

" too." Cooper gave a slight smile, "If you like this, we can bring Ella along and co hiking regularly."

Yolanda paused, then lowered her head, saying, "We’ll see, Adam doesn’t like hiking."

"Yolanda." Cooper changed the address, "Have you thought about it, if you regain your mory and find out so things aren’t the sa as now, what would you choose?"

Yolanda looked up at him, "What do you an?"

"Anything is possible, like..." Cooper watched her closely and probed, "like between you and Adam..."

Yolanda frowned, "What exactly do you want to say?"

"Nothing." Cooper shook his head. Now saying anything felt like being petty. Anyway, Yolanda would know once she regained her mory.

He gave a slight smile, "Truly nothing. Rather than worry about these things, I’d better worry about myself."

Yolanda didn’t respond. She sensed Cooper was hiding sothing. What happened between her and Adam?

Actually, there was sothing she also found odd. If people naturally fall in love with others, why hadn’t she ever felt that heart-stopping love toward Adam in the three years they were together?

After lunch, they continued climbing up together, finally reaching the summit by two in the afternoon.

"Wow!" Yolanda looked out over Gray City, spreading her arms to feel the wind and air. She couldn’t help but exclaim, "This is amazing."

Cooper smiled silently. When they were in school, he had brought Yolanda here. She loved it then, and evidently, she still does.

He stood slightly behind her, gazing at her affectionately, just like he did back then.

Yolanda took out her phone and snapped nurous photos. When she turned back, she t Cooper’s gaze, making her suddenly feel uneasy, "Do you... want to take a picture?"

In school, Yolanda had asked him the sa question. Back then, Cooper refused, but Yolanda insisted on pulling him in for a photo.

But now, Cooper believed that if he refused, Yolanda would no longer push the matter.

So, he nodded, "Sure."

He stood on the sa rock he had once stood on, looking at the girl behind the phone cara, his eyes filled with deep affection.

Yolanda took the pictures seriously, feeling a fleeting sense of déjà vu, as if all this had truly happened before. She was faintly elated, thinking finding Cooper might indeed help her retrieve her mory.

After the photos were taken, Yolanda asked Cooper again, "Where are we going next?"

"Right here, let’s wait for the sunset." Cooper found a rock and sat down. In fact, back in those days, they hadn’t visited many places either.

He was always busy, as if the vast Coldson Group would collapse without him. Thinking back now, it seed utterly foolish.

"Alright." Yolanda thought for a mont and sat down next to Cooper, but maintained a bit of distance.

She glanced at Cooper before speaking slowly, "Yesterday, I saw a lot of my photos at Lola’s house. Before eting you... I didn’t seem very happy."

She lowered her head, "Dad said there are no photos of at ho, isn’t that strange? I think... my childhood must have been awful."

Cooper clenched his fist with heartache but didn’t know how to comfort Yolanda.

"I don’t even know if it’s right to try to recover my mories," Yolanda said to herself, "I just feel like many things are stuck. I can’t find the direction, don’t know how to move forward, but I can’t stay in the sa place forever, right?"

She chuckled bitterly, "To be honest, these past three years, I’ve felt like I’ve been standing still."

" too." Cooper couldn’t help but chi in.

"Hmm?" Yolanda looked at him, puzzled.

Cooper t her gaze, "Three years ago, I made many mistakes and lost the most cherished treasure, so I trapped myself in place, hoping one day I could find her again."

His eyes were filled with such emotion that Yolanda quickly looked away, startled.

"Then we are similar in that regard." She laughed awkwardly, got up, and started walking around.

Cooper said nothing. Perhaps they were alike in that way, but once Yolanda regained her mory, she’d move forward, but what about him? He didn’t know if he could move on if he couldn’t get Yolanda back.

They waited for over an hour more, and finally, the sun began to set.

The sky was ablaze with red clouds, astonishingly beautiful. Yolanda cried with excitent, "Was it you who brought here back then too?"

Cooper nodded.

"How did you discover this place?" Yolanda asked curiously.

"When I was a child, I’d sotis co up here alone. Once, I stayed until this ti and discovered how stunning this place could be."

"It’s truly beautiful." Yolanda sniffed.

For a mont, she felt sothing slowly erging in her mind.
