As the elevator doors closed, everyone inside looked at Yolanda with strange eyes.

Yolanda bowed her head, feeling her entire face burn, and finally endured until her floor ca, where she quickly escaped out.

She did not imdiately go to Little Gabriel’s hospital room, instead, she stood in the corridor, calming herself down.

"Yolanda?" Cooper was about to handle the discharge paperwork, but as soon as he ca out, he saw Yolanda standing there, "Why aren’t you going in?"

Yolanda turned to look at him; actually, her mories of Cooper were only from a few short days, she didn’t really know this person, but one thing she always rembered was that they divorced, so fundantally, their worldviews were still incompatible.

She approached with a sowhat indifferent expression and said very seriously, "Mr. Coldson, I’m really sorry about Gabriel getting hurt."

"Yolanda, why are you suddenly saying these things?" Cooper was slightly surprised, "No one blas you; it was just an accident, nothing to do with you."

Yolanda frowned, could it be that all the things Elsie said earlier were false?

She couldn’t figure it out, nor did she care to figure it out, "No matter what, I do bear so responsibility, I’m really sorry."

"Yolanda..." Cooper clearly sensed Yolanda’s distancing, he suddenly thought of sothing, "Is it because of Gabriel’s rudeness to Adam Sterling yesterday?"

It must be because of that, he quickly explained, "Yolanda, it’s true that Gabriel was throwing a tantrum, I..."

Yolanda’s face looked even worse, "What? In your eyes, is my husband such a petty person?"

"..." Cooper couldn’t help but grow urgent, "Yolanda, that’s not what I ant, I..."

"Enough!" Yolanda impatiently interrupted Cooper, "I want to go in and see Gabriel, and after that, I’ll leave quickly."

"Yolanda..." Cooper felt terrible seeing Yolanda’s attitude, he wanted to ask more but seeing Yolanda’s disgusted expression, he could only swallow his words, "Alright, go in, Gabriel’s inside, he’s been talking about you and Ella."

He proactively opened the ward door.

Yolanda nodded a bit and stepped inside, imdiately seeing Isabella was there too, "Aunt Ross, sorry to bother you, I ca to see Gabriel."

"Mom!" Little Gabriel, who had been eagerly waiting, finally saw her coming, and at first, his voice was full of grievance.

Isabella stood up upon seeing this, "Cooper, I’ll go handle the paperwork then."

She said and pulled a smile towards Yolanda, and quickly left the room.

Yolanda finally felt relieved, hurriedly sat by the bedside, and asked concerned, "Gabriel, how are you feeling today?"

"It’s fine; I can be discharged." Little Gabriel looked at Yolanda with hopeful eyes, "Mom, why didn’t sister co?"

"Oh, Ella’s still having a lazy sleep, so I didn’t wake her up." Yolanda lied; Little Ella was being moody at ho, refusing to co with her.

Evidently, Little Gabriel’s behavior towards Adam Sterling really hurt the little girl’s heart.

Little Gabriel lowered his head, sobbing softly, "Sister is still mad."

"No, Gabriel, don’t overthink, heal quickly, and then you’ll see sister at kindergarten, right?" Yolanda consoled the little one with a smile.

Little Gabriel looked up, timidly at Yolanda, "Mom, I was wrong, I shouldn’t have thrown a tantrum at Uncle yesterday."

The smile on Yolanda’s face froze.

"Mom, please don’t be disappointed in , okay? I was just afraid Uncle would take you away." Little Gabriel said and hugged Yolanda’s neck, "Mom, don’t leave Gabriel, okay?"

"Silly kid, mom’s not angry, be good," Yolanda’s eyes turned red with distress, "It’s okay, mom’s forgotten about last night."

"What about sister?" Little Gabriel was very worried, "Mom, can you help explain to sister for ? I really know I was wrong."

"Sister’s okay too, be good, focus on healing at ho, you’ll see sister soon." Seeing the little one like this, Yolanda felt very upset as well.

Cooper, standing nearby, also felt a pang in his heart; he tentatively said, "How about this, tonight, I’ll invite you and Mr. Sterling, and Ella for dinner? Consider it an apology to Mr. Sterling, alright?"

"No need." Yolanda frowned, "I’ve said that Adam won’t hold a grudge against a child, don’t put pressure on the kid, no one is angry at Gabriel."

Evidently, in Yolanda’s view, Little Gabriel being so remorseful must be because of sothing Cooper said.

Cooper was taken aback for a mont by being refuted, and then awkwardly spoke up, "I didn’t an anything else, I just wanted the two kids..."

"Once Gabriel is healed, they’ll et," Yolanda looked at Little Gabriel again, "Or if Gabriel is in a hurry, I can have sister video call you tonight, how about that?"

"Okay." Little Gabriel finally brightened up a bit upon hearing that, "Mom, it’s a promise!"

"Promise!" Yolanda hooked fingers with the little guy.

At this mont, Isabella returned, "Alright, the discharge paperwork is done; I got so more dicine, Gabriel can go ho to recuperate."

"Then I’ll head back first." Yolanda stood up, bidding farewell to Little Gabriel, "Gabriel, take care and heal well."

Little Gabriel lightly nodded, "Goodbye mom! Rember the video call!"

"Sure." Yolanda tugged a small smile towards Isabella and walked out.

Cooper hesitated for a mont, but still chased after her, "Yolanda, let give you a ride."

"No need." Yolanda refused again, then she turned around and seriously reminded him, "Mr. Coldson, I hope you’ll call Miss Greenwood in the future."

"..." Cooper’s heart tightened, "Alright."

He thought of sothing but still followed Yolanda shalessly, "After Adam cos over, will it be inconvenient for your family to stay at Lola Gold? I happen to have a three-bedroom place nearby, so you could move in..."

"No need, us three living together is not inconvenient at all." Yolanda looked at him displeased, "Besides, Mr. Coldson, our financial situation cannot compare to yours, but it’s not to the point where we can’t afford housing, your goodwill can stop here."

"Could it be..." Cooper clutched his fists tightly, Noah said to trust that Adam Sterling wouldn’t do anything excessive to Yolanda, but from what she said... could they already be living together?

Yolanda waited for Cooper to continue speaking; noticing his expression, she quickly guessed the rest.

"What else? Adam and I are husband and wife, naturally we live together, Mr. Coldson, I think I need to remind you again that we’re already divorced, and the only reason we et is because of Gabriel, so please curb any unrealistic thoughts."

Cooper only felt his heart wrenching as if cut by a knife, each of Yolanda’s words made it hard for him to breathe.

What stage have Adam Sterling and Yolanda actually reached?

He could no longer let things progress this way; he had to clarify things with Adam Sterling!
