Yolanda finally fell asleep peacefully, and Lola Gold left together with Noah Coldson and the others.

However, at the door, they unexpectedly saw Christopher Coldson, and Lola Gold furrowed her brows.

"If you don’t want to see him, just ignore him." Adam Sterling half-blocked Lola Gold’s body, glaring at Christopher Coldson with a face full of vigilance. "With us here, he can’t do anything to you."

"Lola, I need to talk to you. Just five minutes, give five minutes," Christopher Coldson said, pleadingly looking at Lola Gold.

The Christopher Coldson before her had completely overturned his forr image of being an elegant and aloof gentleman. His face unkempt, his energy depleted, he looked as if he had aged ten years.

Lola Gold understood that the death of Old Master Coldson, followed by the betrayal of Sunny Coldson and lissa Greenwood teaming up, had brought Christopher Coldson unbearable pain.

She gently patted Adam Sterling’s shoulder. "It’s fine. I’ll talk to him. You guys can wait for on the first floor."

The two nodded and left together.

When passing by Christopher Coldson, Noah Coldson paused, looked at him, and softly reminded, "Uncle, don’t make any more mistakes."

After they left, Lola Gold sat down on a nearby chair and glanced at Christopher Coldson from a distance. "Speak."

Christopher Coldson lowered his head and slowly stepped forward. Suddenly, with a thud, he kneeled on the ground.

Lola Gold was startled, standing up in shock. She wanted to help him up but restrained herself, saying helplessly, "What are you doing? Stand up and speak."

"I won’t get up. I know this ti I’ve made an incredible mistake, and you won’t easily forgive ," Christopher Coldson cried, his voice trembling. "Lola, I truly know I was wrong. Please give another chance. Let’s have this child together and raise them properly, okay?"

Hearing him ntion the child, Lola Gold let out a bitter laugh, looking down at him condescendingly. "You’re that fixated on this child?"

"Of course. It’s our child. How could I not care?" Christopher Coldson said anxiously, crawling to Lola Gold’s feet and tugging at the hem of her pants. "Lola, forgive . Let’s keep the child and raise them together."

Lola Gold paused, seeming deep in thought, and then nodded. "Alright, I’ve decided. I’ll keep the child."

"Really?" Christopher Coldson almost didn’t believe his ears. He wiped away his tears and asked again, "Lola, did I hear that correctly? You’re willing to forgive ? Willing to keep the child?"

"That’s right. I’m willing to keep the child," Lola Gold repeated.

"And what about ? Are you willing to forgive ?" For so reason, the look on Lola Gold’s face at that mont made Christopher Coldson feel an inexplicable sense of fear.

Lola Gold stared at him coldly. "Five minutes. Ti’s up. You should leave."

"Alright, I’ll go, I’ll go." Christopher Coldson quickly got up. "It’s okay if you don’t want to forgive now. As long as you’re keeping the child, I’ll show you my determination."

"Get lost!" Lola Gold shouted impatiently.

"Alright, I’m leaving, I’m leaving." Christopher Coldson disappeared quickly.

Lola Gold looked down at her abdon. The child was already five weeks along and barely showing.

She reached out to touch it, her face devoid of expression. "Who knows if your fate is good or bad."

Not long after Christopher Coldson left, Noah Coldson and Adam Sterling ca back upstairs.

"Lola, are you okay?" Adam Sterling asked with concern. Just now, seeing Lola Gold for a mont, even he felt a chill from her expression.

Lola Gold pulled the corner of her lips, returning to her usual self. "I’m fine. I’m doing great."

Noah Coldson hesitated for a mont before asking, "Just now, we ran into uncle downstairs. He said... you agreed not to terminate the pregnancy?"

Lola Gold shrugged indifferently. "That’s what he said? Then I suppose it’s true."

Noah Coldson couldn’t shake the feeling that sothing was off about Lola Gold. He instinctively exchanged a glance with Adam Sterling, who gently shook his head, signaling him not to ask further.

"Brother, Dr. Sterling, there’s no hiding the matter of the child for much longer," Lola Gold frowned. "When Yolanda finds out, she’ll definitely be devastated."

Both nod simultaneously.

Noah Coldson sighed heavily. "But Cooper is indeed the biological father of the child. We have no way to forcefully reclaim the child."

"Brother, I want to et with Cooper Coldson myself," Lola Gold said after much consideration. "I’ll talk to him properly and beg him to return the child to Yolanda."

Adam Sterling sighed and shook his head in resignation but finally said, "The three of us will go together. The more people, the more hope."

"Alright." Noah Coldson nodded but couldn’t help reminding them, "However, Cooper is a very rational and stubborn man. Once he’s made up his mind... it’s hard for ordinary people to change it. Don’t get your hopes up too high."

"No matter what, we’ll try. Let’s do this for Yolanda," Lola Gold said with determined eyes.

The next day, the three of them waited until Yolanda Greenwood was taking her midday nap and went together to the Coldson Group.

The receptionist recognized Yolanda Greenwood and Noah Coldson and quickly notified the top floor.

Assistant Reyes hurried to the president’s office. "President Coldson, Miss Yolanda’s friend Lola Gold, along with your brother, and the psychologist nad Sterling are downstairs and wish to et you."

Cooper Coldson was reviewing docunts. Upon hearing this, he imdiately understood their purpose. After a brief mont of thought, he replied, "Send them to the small conference room to wait for ."

"Understood."

Assistant Reyes went down personally to greet them. "Please follow upstairs."

"Assistant Reyes, I’ve been wanting to properly thank you for what you did back in Ully Town," Lola Gold said proactively.

Assistant Reyes maintained his polite smile. "Miss Gold, there’s no need to thank . I’m not a chivalrous gentleman by any ans; I only do what President Coldson instructs."

With one comnt, he effectively cut off anything else Lola Gold had to say.

Lola Gold scoffed in annoyance. "Misjudged you. A born lapdog!"

Assistant Reyes remained unperturbed, as if the insult wasn’t directed at him.

When they arrived at the top floor, he led them into the small office and thoughtfully prepared so tea before leaving quickly.

This was Lola Gold and Adam Sterling’s first ti being at the Coldson Group. While they had known it to be one of Gray City’s and the country’s top comrcial empires, only upon stepping inside did they truly feel the opulence of its every square inch.

Standing by the window in the small office, overlooking all of Gray City, Adam Sterling chuckled and joked, "If I were here, just standing in this spot every day might make forget I’m only human."

"Dr. Sterling, if you’re interested, we at the Coldson Group happen to be lacking a top-tier psychologist..." Cooper Coldson’s voice ca from the doorway.

He strode in and settled on the sofa. "We’re always ready to welco you."

Seeing him arrive, the three imdiately grew more solemn.

Adam Sterling chuckled lightly. "Indeed, with the way President Coldson has been behaving recently, you do seem in need of a top-tier psychologist."

Cooper Coldson let out a low laugh, as if he hadn’t noticed Adam Sterling sarcastically calling him ntally unwell.

"President Coldson, I’m not joking, nor am I insulting you," Adam Sterling said seriously. "I’m only reminding you, as a doctor, about the health of my patient."
