Cooper Coldson had been lingering on the first floor, feeling utterly agitated. The image of Yolanda Greenwood covered in blood kept flashing in his mind.
After receiving a call from lissa Greenwood, he imdiately notified Yolanda. Jaxon Greenwood was in grave danger, and he thought Yolanda would at least want to see Jaxon one last ti.
But he hadn’t expected Yolanda to be so devastated... And why was there so much blood? It was the second ti now.
His mind was in turmoil when suddenly he saw a familiar figure hurrying over.
It was Ivy Hall! Dr. Hall from the Won’s and Children’s Hospital!
Cooper stood up in shock. Why was she here?
His mind was a ss, but his body reacted faster than his brain; he quietly followed her.
Ivy Hall was incredibly anxious. Right after she received Noah Coldson’s call, she had rushed over without noticing anyone following her.
Arriving on the floor, she hurried out and imdiately approached Noah, "How is it going?"
Hearing the voice, Noah looked up and saw Cooper following behind Ivy.
Indeed, the secret of Yolanda’s pregnancy could not be hidden anymore.
"How is it going?" Ivy approached with an anxious expression, "How long has she been in there? What have you done? Why didn’t you send her straight to my place?"
"Sister Hall, I’ll let you go in first," Noah said, looking at Cooper, "Cooper, I’ll talk to you later."
Ivy turned around and jumped when she saw Cooper, "Little Cooper... when did you start following ?"
"Sister Hall, co with to change into your scrubs," Noah said, taking Ivy to get ready for surgery, watching as she entered the ergency room.
Yolanda’s condition this ti was extrely risky; it could end up as three lives lost with one body.
When Noah returned, he found Cooper sitting on the chair, his soul seemingly not in his body.
He sighed and quickly sat down beside Cooper, "The child is mine."
"What did you say?" Cooper stared at him, knowing full well what Noah had said, but he just couldn’t accept it.
"Yolanda is pregnant, and the child is mine," Noah repeated.
Cooper threw a punch, "You beast! She’s your brother’s wife, and we aren’t even divorced yet! How could you?"
This ti, Noah did not retaliate.
He hung his head, "Cooper, I know I was wrong in this matter, but you and she have no feelings left for each other, and divorce was just a matter of ti, wasn’t it?"
He looked up again, "Are you having second thoughts now?"
"But you can’t do this!" Cooper said through clenched teeth, throwing another punch, "If word of this gets out, how will people talk about her? How will they talk about the Coldson Family?"
Noah’s face imdiately swelled from the blow, "I don’t care, as soon as the divorce is finalized, I can take her away."
Cooper’s raised fist paused mid-air, "Take her away? Did she agree to that?"
"Whether she agrees or not, as long as she is there, I will be too," Noah stood up, "Cooper, let go. There’s no chance for you two, let go quickly, it will be a relief for both of you."
"Are you telling the truth?" Cooper asked with a trembling voice.
He felt as if his heart was being squeezed, making it hard to breathe.
"Mm," Noah answered with his head down.
Just now, lissa had found him, telling him that Cooper would surely find out about Yolanda’s pregnancy soon, and asked him to lie to Cooper by claiming the child was his.
He had agreed almost without hesitation.
He could no longer push Yolanda to Cooper, whether out of emotion or for the sake of dignity; they should no longer continue their entanglent.
Once Jaxon’s matter was over, he would definitely take Yolanda away.
Cooper was silent for a while before speaking with difficulty, "When did it happen?"
Didn’t Yolanda say she loved him very much?
Why, even before their divorce was finalized, had she... gone to soone else’s bed?
In comparison, he felt ridiculous.
Despite having decided to marry lissa, he couldn’t bring himself to get close to her.
He really was a clown.
"Does it matter?" Noah Coldson didn’t want to answer at all.
"It matters!" Cooper Coldson nearly roared, his eyes already turning bloodshot, as if all the blood in his body was boiling.
"More than two months." Noah Coldson gave a rough tifra.
Cooper Coldson’s head buzzed, and he felt as though he had lost his soul.
"Cooper?" lissa Greenwood’s voice suddenly rang out; she approached with swollen eyes, "When did you get here? My dad’s over there!"
Cooper Coldson tried to get up, but couldn’t manage to stand.
"Cooper, what’s wrong?" lissa Greenwood rushed to help him.
Cooper Coldson subconsciously thought to push lissa Greenwood away but soon changed his mind, allowing her to help him up.
He was such a fool.
Yolanda Greenwood had already started throwing herself at others, yet he still drew a line around himself, thinking that since they weren’t divorced, he shouldn’t get too close to other won.
Truly, pitifully foolish.
They arrived at the entrance of Jaxon Greenwood’s ergency room.
One floor, two ergency rooms on either side, a father and daughter, both fighting with the grim reaper for life.
"Cooper, are you okay?" Cooper Coldson’s complexion really couldn’t be said to be good; it was frighteningly pale.
Cooper Coldson, holding his head, said with a sowhat drifting voice, "I’m fine."
"Why would big brother be there? Who’s being resuscitated over there?" lissa Greenwood asked purposely.
"Yolanda!" Cooper Coldson’s voice sounded even more weary.
"Yolanda?" lissa Greenwood looked very surprised, "What happened to her?"
Cooper Coldson remained silent for quite a while before he slowly began, "She... was pregnant, had a severe hemorrhage."
"Pregnant? From big brother?" lissa Greenwood’s eyes widened.
Cooper Coldson didn’t speak.
He felt like he was sick, his head spinning and pounding, a thought repeating in his mind, what to do?
But what exactly to do, he didn’t know.
He felt like he was about to go insane.
Sothing was starting to spiral out of control.
Seeing Cooper Coldson in such a dazed and distressed state, lissa Greenwood’s jealousy reached its peak.
So it was true, that little bitch Yolanda eventually made Cooper Coldson fall for her, damn it, it was infuriating.
She hid her jealousy, nestling herself pitifully against Cooper Coldson, "Cooper, you believe now that the person who saved you that year was , right?"
Cooper Coldson was montarily dazed.
He had even forgotten about this matter; apparently, his concern for Yolanda Greenwood was never about whether she saved him that year or not.
Even now that he knew she had lied again, he was indifferent.
"Cooper, pregnancy is truly giving one’s whole heart for won. Let’s wish her and big brother well together, shall we?"
Cooper Coldson looked at her, his eyes painfully sore.
"Cooper, you want a child too, don’t you?" lissa Greenwood started crying again, "It’s my fault, I’ve disappointed you."
She looked at Cooper Coldson with deep affection, "But even if ti could be turned back, I would still resolutely save a life, even if Cooper despised now, I have never regretted it."
Cooper Coldson’s eyes moved, looking toward lissa Greenwood, "Let’s get married!"
This ti, it was sincere.
Even though lissa Greenwood might have done many wrongs, but she saved him and loved him so much, what more could he be dissatisfied with?
