"Of course I don't mind." Yolanda Greenwood passed over the design draft, "Last ti, it was your encouragent that gave the courage to show it to Manager Reyes."

She tugged at the corner of her mouth, "This ti, I might also benefit from your opinion."

lissa Greenwood flipped through the design draft, a glint of satisfaction flashing in her eyes, but soon, she couldn't control her jealousy.

Yolanda's designs, each ti, were very bold, filled with creativity, stunning everyone.

This wretch, a painting prodigy since childhood, no matter how Eliana Reed tried to discourage her, she just wouldn't give up on painting.

lissa loathed it imnsely. She, too, had talent and worked hard, but in front of a true genius, all these seed inconsequential.

"How is it? Do you see any issues?" Yolanda asked humbly.

She was about to lose everything and needed to keep this job.

"It's quite good, being able to draw like this is already quite remarkable," lissa managed to stabilize her mood.

What if she's a genius? Isn't she still manipulated by ?

When they arrived at the company, she personally escorted Yolanda to Jenny Reyes' office.

In front of Jenny Reyes, lissa patted Yolanda on the shoulder, "Don't worry, the draft won't have any issues."

She turned to Jenny Reyes, "I'll leave it in Manager Reyes' hands then."

Jenny Reyes rose, smiling as she watched lissa leave.

Then, her expression darkened.

lissa ca with Yolanda and ntioned the draft, clearly hinting at her.

This draft must be another masterpiece by lissa.

She flipped through it casually, indeed seeing lissa's capabilities.

She snorted coldly, looking sternly at Yolanda.

"What? Is there sothing Manager Reyes isn't satisfied with?" Yolanda asked directly.

"Unsatisfied? How could I be?" Jenny Reyes threw the draft onto the desk, "If Director Greenwood is satisfied, how could I be dissatisfied?"

"..." Yolanda puzzled: Was Jenny Reyes blaming her for bypassing her and showing the draft to lissa first?

She had no choice but to say reluctantly, "Manager Reyes, rest assured, next ti I will show it to you first."

Next ti?

Jenny Reyes felt like Yolanda was treating her like a fool; she didn't want to waste words and gestured for Yolanda to leave quickly.

For a short period, she decided not to assign any new jobs to Yolanda.

Returning to her desk, Yolanda rembered the divorce agreent she signed that morning and sent a WeChat ssage to Cooper Coldson.

[The divorce agreent seems fine. When shall we proceed with the formalities?]

When Cooper saw the ssage, rage surged within him—had they not just slept together the previous night, and she's now eager to finalize things?

Agreeing to part with nothing, was she planning to stab him in the back at the Civil Affairs Office?

He furiously typed a few words.

[Is your blind date that satisfying?]

Before hitting send, a knock on the door interrupted him.

It was lissa.

Coldson put away his phone.

"Cooper, about last night..."

"I was drugged."

"I understand, but I've been back in the country for almost a month, and my family is getting anxious."

"There are several big projects recently at Coldson Group, and I really can't leave. Just proceed with the wedding preparations normally."

"Cooper," lissa sighed softly, "going to the Civil Affairs Office takes just a few minutes, you wouldn't be reluctant to divorce Yolanda, would you?"

"How could that be?" Cooper imdiately denied.

"It's better that way. In matters of the heart, whoever falls first loses. I'm willing to lose to you, but I hope you won't dean yourself like I did..."

She paused, "Cooper, make sure not to repeat the mistakes."

"Alright, don't worry. I'll make ti for the divorce as soon as possible," Cooper said feeling unnecessarily irritated.

After lissa left, he picked up his phone, looked at the ssage he had composed, and then deleted it.

What does Yolanda's relationship with her blind date have to do with him?

He composed the ssage again with a stern face and sent it.

[I will notify you as soon as I'm free, hope you won't go back on your word later.]

Yolanda read the ssage several tis, Cooper's eagerness to get things done was evident.

It seed her marriage was officially on its countdown.

In the following days, without yet hearing from Cooper, she received a new job assignnt.

And it was specifically requested that she be responsible for it.

Yolanda was thrilled, she was finally recognized.

Jenny Reyes, however, was quite worried: lissa was on a business trip today, and it would be at least three to five days before she could return. Was it really okay to give Yolanda this assignnt at this ti? But oddly enough, the client had specifically requested Yolanda.

After the client left, she called Yolanda into the office, "You know that Director Greenwood is out of town, right?"

"Yes," Yolanda didn't understand why Jenny Reyes suddenly ntioned it.

"The client only gave us three days," Jenny Reyes hinted indirectly, hoping Yolanda would give up on her own.

"Three days, I'll work overti. It should be fine," Yolanda was not going to pass up this opportunity.

Jenny Reyes was infuriated, especially seeing Yolanda's radiant look.

Your plagiarized work is recognized, what's there to be happy about?

"Alright," she felt Yolanda needed to stumble to learn her lesson, "You have only three days. This is a new client, very important."

"I understand, Manager Reyes, rest assured, I will give it my all."

After returning, Yolanda imrsed herself in a new round of challenges.

The new client, incomplete data, and only three days to design what the client envisioned was indeed not easy.

In order to secure the job, she barely slept three to four hours each day.

Three days later, Jenny Reyes saw the draft and was herself startled.

"Did you draw this yourself?" she couldn't help but ask, this draft was even more mature than before.

Yolanda, with dark circles under her eyes, nodded, "What do you think, Manager Reyes?"

Jenny Reyes, not responding, was a bit perplexed about Yolanda.

This ti, lissa couldn't possibly have ti to help Yolanda. Could Yolanda also be a genius designer?

She ambiguously said, "What I think doesn't matter, it's what the client thinks."

She walked to the door, then turned back, "What are you waiting for? Co et the client with ; they ca specifically for you."

"Alright," Yolanda felt jubilant inside, her efforts over the past few days had not been in vain.

In the VIP room, client Joy Bennett had cleared the fruits and snacks in front of her.

It was the sa last ti; one could only say this client was a bit unique.

Jenny Reyes classified her as a nouveau riche.

Whether a nouveau riche or from a distinguished family, as long as they could afford the design fee, they were welco.

"Ms. Bennett, sorry to keep you waiting," Jenny Reyes greeted with a smile, handing over the draft, "Your gown has been designed, our painter Yolanda has been working all night for three days."

Joy casually flipped through the draft and then looked at Yolanda, "Did you draw this after staying up for three nights?"

Yolanda saw sothing malicious in her eyes and hesitated to nod.

"Yes, Ms. Bennett, do you see any issues? If there's anything you dislike, I can make changes..."

Before she could finish, Joy Bennett threw the draft at her face.

The paper slashed across Yolanda's cheek, causing her to wince in pain, "Hiss..."
