Cooper Coldson noticed Noah Coldson’s pale face and didn’t continue speaking.
After a long while, Noah Coldson slowly started speaking, "What does that matter have to do with lissa Greenwood?"
"Big brother," Cooper asserted, "lissa is that little girl from back then."
"How is that possible? Are you mistaken?" Noah clearly disagreed.
"Big brother, when we left the hospital back then, I placed my personal jade pendant in her hand," Cooper was very certain, "Now, that jade pendant is with lissa."
Noah hesitated for a mont, "That little girl was unconscious at that ti, perhaps... the jade pendant was taken by soone else?"
Cooper shook his head, "The jade pendant wasn’t taken, lissa is that girl, there’s another thing you don’t know."
He sighed deeply, "Back then, I also overheard the doctor’s words, the doctor said that the girl would never be able to be a mother again."
He then firmly added, "Thus, I will definitely marry lissa."
"Just because of that?" Noah asked tentatively, "What about Yolanda? Don’t you have a bit of love for her?"
"Not at all," Cooper spoke decisively, "I’ve been married to her for a year, this woman is utterly boring, I feel nothing for her."
"And for lissa Greenwood?" Noah asked him again, "Are you marrying her because of what happened back then, or because you love her?"

Love is between two people, and marriage needs even more the cooperation of both.
Since Cooper didn’t have the slightest love for Yolanda Greenwood, their continuing together wouldn’t lead to any good outcos.
"Big brother understands," in an instant, Noah changed his mind, "Cooper, if you are insistent on divorcing Yolanda, big brother supports you."
Cooper’s expression shifted, feeling an unnad emotion spread across his chest.
He joked, "Big brother finally sees the light, then you don’t have to ddle in Yolanda Greenwood’s sses anymore, after all, she will no longer be related to our Coldson family."
Noah’s steps to leave paused for a mont, eventually, he did not say anything, and left.
Cooper was lost in thought for a mont, then picked up the phone and called Yolanda Greenwood.
Now that Old Master Coldson and Noah had agreed, nothing would hinder their divorce anymore.
When the phone connected, he got straight to the point, "Let’s get the procedures done tomorrow."
"Okay!" The voice from the other side agreed briskly.
Yolanda Greenwood had never expected that before leaving, she would resolve this heartache; naturally, she was happy to see it done.
Cooper paused, then added, "lissa has been waiting for a long ti; I should have given her a grand wedding long ago."
"Bless you two!" Yolanda Greenwood held back her pain and spoke calmly, "Tomorrow at 9:30 am, don’t be late."
She didn’t give herself a chance to reveal any weaknesses and quickly hung up the phone.
Cooper stared at the call-ended phone with a stern face, "This woman actually dared to hang up on ?"
He threw the phone onto the table, then realized belatedly, "No, I should be happy now that I’ve finally rid myself of this great trouble."
Thinking thus, he imdiately sent a ssage to the old mansion.
[Tonight I’ll return, I have so good news to announce.]
Just after sending the ssage, his assistant, Richard Reyes, ca in carrying so docunts for him to sign, "President, this is the contract for the Ully Town tourism developnt project, and this is the Ascension Plan..."
Cooper quickly signed, "Cancel tomorrow morning’s schedule, I need to go handle the divorce."
Richard hesitated: Does handling a divorce need a whole morning?
But he didn’t dare to question Cooper and imdiately nodded, "Understood, I’ll have them change the schedule right away."
Finally, after signing all the docunts, Cooper set down his pen with a good mood, "I didn’t expect Yolanda to agree so quickly; I hope she doesn’t play any tricks this ti or I won’t let her off."
Richard held the docunts and gave a couple of ingratiating laughs, wanting to leave because every ti the subject of divorce ca up, he never could fathom what his boss truly felt.
"President, then..." He just started to say he was going out when he was interrupted by Cooper again.
"Let’s go celebrate tonight, we’ll clock off on ti."
Richard’s thoughts turned: Clocking off on ti to celebrate? It seems the president is truly happy, really wants the divorce.
He imdiately sycophantically said, "Yes, such a happy occasion, the president must celebrate properly with Miss lissa."
Who would have thought Cooper’s expression changed in an instant, his eyebrows raised unhappily as he looked at him, "I am going back ho, to the old mansion to celebrate!"
"..." Richard felt like crying; shouldn’t this kind of thing be celebrated with the new wife?
The president’s romantic life really was incomprehensible.
Luckily, Cooper indeed clocked off on ti and went back to the old mansion early; everyone was there.
During dinner, Cooper announced the news, "Yolanda and I have decided to divorce, we will handle the procedures tomorrow."
Old Master Coldson’s expression darkened a bit, but he didn’t say anything, rely put down his silverware and had his caregiver accompany him back to his room.
Noah paused in his movents, then continued to eat.
Christopher Coldson and Sunny Coldson didn’t react much; Sunny even said congratulations.
"Are you sure?" To his surprise, it was Isabella Ross who first voiced her doubts, "Divorce is a serious matter, you need to think it through."
Cooper was shocked, hadn’t Isabella Ross been hoping every day that he would hurry up and divorce Yolanda?
"I’ve thought about it for a long ti." He asked puzzledly, "Mom, weren’t you fully supportive before?"
"I’m not opposed, it’s just..." just now knowing that Yolanda was pregnant, Isabella Ross started to feel a bit reluctant.
By rights, lissa had been back in the country for a while now, how co she showed no sign of being pregnant?
And with Cooper always shouting he didn’t want children, and lissa always obedient to Cooper, maybe they truly wouldn’t want children later?
To put it bluntly, Isabella was reluctant to part with the children, having heard they were twins.
She said earnestly, "Actually, mom has noticed over such a long ti, Yolanda really is a good girl, always filial to your grandfather and to mom, I was perhaps a bit harsh on her before."
Cooper was utterly astonished, "Mom, did you eat sothing wrong?"
Isabella Ross kicked Noah under the table, clearly hoping he would say a few words.
Noah cleared his throat, "Mom, marriage is between the two of them; let’s not ddle unnecessarily."
"But Yolanda isn’t..."
"Mom!" Noah interrupted Isabella Ross, "Co to my room for a bit, I have sothing to tell you."
He stood up, his expression calm as he looked at Cooper, "Cooper, you and Yolanda’s matter, just decide it yourselves, we have no objections."
