"Manager Reyes!" Yolanda Greenwood placed the design draft directly on the table.

Jenny Reyes, trying to suppress her anger, looked up at Yolanda Greenwood, waiting for her to continue.

"Manager Reyes, don't you think I deserve an explanation?" Yolanda Greenwood demanded confidently.

Jenny Reyes genuinely laughed with anger. It was her first ti encountering such an arrogant plagiarist. "Explanation? What kind of explanation do you want?"

"The client accepted my sample draft. Shouldn't you have notified ?"

"And the last ti I submitted my sample draft, what right did you have to lose your temper for no reason?"

"Finally, since my sample draft was accepted, why didn't you assign any new tasks? Give a reason."

Every point Yolanda Greenwood made was clear and explicit.

Jenny Reyes was montarily speechless, not expecting a plagiarist to have such clear logic.

She took a mont to respond, then answered each point.

"I've been rather busy these past few days. I forgot to inform you about the acceptance of your draft."

"That day, I wasn't really angry at you, but I felt that your draft... seed familiar."

Her tone was clearly full of mockery.

"Do you have evidence?" Yolanda Greenwood asked seriously. "Manager Reyes, if you think my draft resembles soone else's, show it to ."

The rage inside Jenny Reyes surged, but because lissa Greenwood had told her not to make a big deal about it, she really wanted to throw the design draft in Yolanda Greenwood's face.

"Is there any?" This ti, Yolanda Greenwood needed to clear her na.

Jenny Reyes' chest heaved with fury, and it took her a while to barely utter the word "no."

She truly despised Yolanda Greenwood to the extre.

She stood up, looking Yolanda Greenwood in the eye, "You want a new assignnt, right?"

Very well, she would give her a new assignnt—not to lissa Greenwood, and she'd see whom Yolanda Greenwood could copy this ti.

Jenny Reyes leaned down, pulled out a docunt from her drawer, and threw it at Yolanda Greenwood, "Five days, I want your draft."

She didn't want to say another word.

Yolanda Greenwood hesitated for a mont, feeling she should say sothing.

"Manager Reyes, I know I left a bad impression during the interview."

Jenny Reyes snorted.

"But I really do love drawing and I truly enjoy this job. I will work hard to prove that the company's choice was not wrong."

"Manager Reyes, I'll be leaving now."

Jenny Reyes spoke with sarcasm, "If you really want to thank soone, you should properly thank your cousin."

Yolanda Greenwood paused, "I will."

The second chance was hard-earned; Yolanda Greenwood went back and imdiately threw herself into her work.

Over the weekend, lissa Greenwood called her again.

"Yolanda, tonight they want to throw a welco party for . You should co too."

"Ah? I've made plans with a friend tonight, so I'd rather not go. Have fun."

"Don't be like that, Yolanda. You must co. Cooper will be there too; I need you two to welco for to feel settled about staying in the country."

"...Alright, see you tonight."

After hanging up, Yolanda Greenwood looked despondently at Lola Gold.

Lola Gold hit the nail on the head, "Yolanda, why do I feel like as long as you don't divorce Cooper Coldson, lissa Greenwood won't leave you alone?"

"I'll talk to Cooper again tonight."

That evening, Yolanda Greenwood changed into a fitted black cocktail dress.

Her wardrobe was sparse, many items even hand--downs from lissa Greenwood.

Eliana Reed disliked buying her clothes and was even less willing to dress her up.

This single cocktail dress was purchased secretly by Yolanda Greenwood, intended for her honeymoon with Cooper, but she had been too naive...

The welco banquet was set at the Empire Grand Hotel, the only seven-star hotel nationwide. Athena White's birthday banquet had also been held here.

Revisiting the old place, Yolanda Greenwood was feeling particularly confliced.

By the ti they reached the 18th-floor banquet hall, many people had already arrived—mostly lissa Greenwood's friends and likewise, the witnesses of the past scandal.

Everyone looked at Yolanda with odd glares.

"Yolanda, you've finally co."

lissa stepped forward, directly hooked Yolanda's arm, and pulled her into the middle of the crowd.

"lissa," one of her close friends, Athena White, started, puzzled, "why did you even invite her?"

"Really, to be associated with this kind of person, are you waiting for the New Year?"

"She has the nerve to co, she really is shaless."

The others chid in imdiately.

"Enough, Athena, let's not talk about Yolanda anymore. She already admitted her mistake from back then."

lissa was notably affectionate, "She has agreed to divorce Cooper, and grant us our wish."

"Tsk!" The crowd grimaced.

"Cooper!" lissa suddenly beca excited, and letting go of Yolanda, she ran toward the entrance.

Everyone looked toward the doorway.

Cooper Coldson wore a high-end black suit, broad shoulders and narrow waist with long legs, exuding a powerful presence, while lissa donned a black fishtail dress that trailed on the floor, looking charming and alluring.

Together, they were a perfect match.

Athena White rolled her eyes at the Yolanda, "See? In front of them, you're just an ugly duckling. Have so self-awareness."

The crowd approached, laughing and talking, surrounding Cooper and lissa with all sorts of flattering words.

Yolanda's eyes hurt, and she found a seat to sip her drink quietly.

High society mingled not far from her, where she had no ties, yet she kept an eye on the activities there.

Cooper disliked such crowded scenes; indeed, it wasn't long before he retreated to a private VIP room.

Yolanda stood up, planning to head there.

"Yolanda," lissa appeared just in ti, holding a drink in her hand, "where were you just now? Why not join in with everyone?"

"I'm a bit tired," Yolanda forced a smile. "Cousin, I want to go see Cooper, ask him about the divorce, then I'll head back. I'm really tired today."

"I see, alright," lissa handed her the drink she was holding, "I was just about to take this to Cooper; you go give it to him instead."

"Okay." Yolanda took the drink to the VIP room.

Cooper was sitting on the couch and opened his eyes in irritation as soone entered.

The woman in front of him wore a sowhat outdated dress, revealing thin limbs, and even her waist seed fragile as though it could snap with a pinch.

She bent down to place the drink, her shapely curves hard to ignore.

It couldn't be denied that Yolanda's figure could drive any man wild.

Of course, except for Cooper, who coldly asked, "What tricks are you playing now?"

The last incident in this VIP room was unforgettable to anyone.

Yolanda blushed slightly, "Cooper, it's been a month since the divorce matter..."

"Is that why you ca? Just to remind of this?" Cooper said with derision.

"Yes." Yolanda felt uncomfortable, "Please find so ti."

Cooper picked up the drink in front of him and took a light sip, "So eager to divorce ? Then why bother in the first place? What do you take for?"

Yolanda clenched her teeth, "About what happened back then, I've said it many tis, I was drugged..."

"Forget it, you never believe whatever I say." She sighed, "I just hope that you..."

At that mont, the VIP room's door opened again, and lissa entered.

Yolanda didn't want to stay any longer, "Anyway, get the paperwork done quickly, I'm leaving now."
