The two of them walked downstairs, and Blake Lockwood found that his car suddenly wouldn’t start, so he had to call soone from the dealership to tow it for repairs.

"I’ll give you a ride." Adrian Grant nodded towards a Bentley not far away.

Blake Lockwood made no comnt.

Eleanor Winslow stared at him for two seconds and then walked towards the Bentley.

With Eleanor’s hands being unusable, Adrian Grant opened the car door for her.

As she got in, Eleanor glanced at him and said in a low voice, "It’s Blake’s car, you better get it fixed."

"Sure."

Adrian Grant lowered his gaze, smiling softly, not at all surprised that Eleanor guessed he had soone tamper with Blake Lockwood’s car, nor did he ask how she figured it out.

The two always seed to have this inexplicable understanding at such monts.

Once in the car, Eleanor crossed her arms, looked out the window, feeling not very upbeat.

The relationship with Adrian Grant, which couldn’t co to an end, made her feel tired.

Adrian’s repeated strange behavior made her even more irritated.

Adrian personally drove the car, occasionally glancing at Eleanor through the rearview mirror.

After several tis, Blake Lockwood couldn’t bear it anymore: "Young Master Grant, if you don’t want to drive, Eleanor and I can call a cab. Both Eleanor and I value our lives."

Could you please drive properly!

Adrian Grant’s eyes t Eleanor’s in the rearview mirror, but Eleanor looked away, not wanting to engage with him.

"Miss Lockwood, aren’t you going to talk to Young Master Hawthorne when you go ho?" Adrian suggested.

Blake Lockwood sneered without warmth, "What’s there to talk about with that scumbag? Eleanor is more important."

Don’t even think of trying to get rid of her!

-

The Bentley stopped at the entrance of the community.

Blake Lockwood helped Eleanor out, while Adrian Grant smoked a cigarette downstairs and then found a number in his contacts to call.

It took over ten seconds before the other side answered: "Hello."

"Young Master Hawthorne, are you also considering divorce?" Adrian Grant asked bluntly.

The other side was silent for two seconds, the tension thick as if a fight was about to break out.

"Have you gone crazy wanting a divorce?" Trevor Hawthorne asked.

"I don’t want a divorce." Adrian leaned against the car hood, looking up at the window of Eleanor’s apartnt, "Trevor, your woman is rooted in my wife’s house, if that’s not looking for a divorce, then what is it?"

Trevor didn’t even pause his docunt reviewing: "I know she’s at Miss Winslow’s place, she went to change bandages with Miss Winslow today."

So Trevor had eyes planted around Blake.

Adrian asked, "Then do you know Vivian Quinn was also at the hospital today?"

Trevor stood up abruptly.

-

When Blake Lockwood talked about divorce, it wasn’t just talk. The first thing he did at the apartnt was to ask Eleanor for recomndations on divorce lawyers.

Eleanor ntioned a few well-known divorce lawyers in the industry and said, "It depends on what rights you want to fight for. If your demands are minor, a lawyer might not be necessary."

For instance, Eleanor herself, she wanted to leave with nothing, so a lawyer would serve no purpose.

"Rights?" Blake serious considered for a mont, "Can the cooling-off period be skipped to directly get the divorce certificate? I don’t want to disgust myself for another month."

"..." Eleanor couldn’t help but assert, "What you’re asking for is illegal, it’s not a demand."

Blake: "..."

Blake sent a ssage to Trevor Hawthorne.

Trevor, who had been busy all day, finally had ti to check his WeChat on his way ho, only to see—

Blake Lockwood: [When are you free? We need to talk about the divorce.]

When Trevor received Adrian Grant’s call earlier in the day, he hadn’t taken his words seriously, but now he couldn’t help but frown.

Trevor called Blake, but she directly hung up on him.

"Not answering?" Eleanor asked.

Blake turned off the phone right away and tossed it aside, "I just don’t want to hear his voice right now, afraid I’ll start cursing."

The car stopped outside the villa.

Trevor called Blake again, only to hear the prompt that her phone was powered off.

Just about to turn the car around, out of the corner of his eye, he suddenly noticed the villa’s living room lights were on.

Not only the living room, but also the second-floor bedroom lights were on!

Trevor imdiately got out of the car and hurriedly entered the house.

"Blake, why aren’t you answering the phone?" Trevor didn’t see anyone on the first floor, so he rushed upstairs in large strides.

He just happened to run into a woman coming out of his and Blake’s bedroom.

"Young Master Hawthorne, you’re back!" Vivian Quinn joyfully ran over.

Trevor’s face instantly turned cold: "How did you get in? Who gave you the key?"

He pushed Vivian aside to check the bedroom.

"It was... it was Aunt Cherry..." Vivian was frightened by Trevor’s sudden change, forcing a smile to explain, "I was just helping to organize your clothes, nothing more."

"Vivian Quinn, kissing up to my mom has no effect on ." Trevor closed the bedroom door with his back hand, coldly saying, "Get out imdiately."

"But... but we already... and also..." Vivian was so scared her eyes welled up with tears, stroking her belly, "and also, I’m pregnant... It’s your child!"

-

Two hours later.

The door was knocked on.

The cara showed a tall, upright man outside, with striking features, exuding a wildness.

Trevor Hawthorne was expressionless, pressing the doorbell multiple tis without a response, showing increased irritation in his eyes.

When has Young Master Hawthorne ever waited for soone like this?

"If you don’t want to see him, I’ll ask the property to get rid of him." Eleanor said to Blake.

Blake closed his eyes, pushing down his emotions, "I’ll see him."

Before the words were finished, Blake had already opened the door.

Trevor was montarily surprised to see Blake open the door personally: "I thought you wouldn’t want to see ."

Blake crossed her arms, tilted her head slightly, and said expressionlessly, "Why not see? I’m not the one who can’t be seen."

Trevor understood the implication in her words but wasn’t angered. Instead, he scanned Blake from head to toe.

She seed slightly thinner than half a month ago.

"Want to talk?" Trevor hesitated with a cigarette, seeing Eleanor and Blake and decided not to light it.

"Talk about divorce terms or asset division? I’ll take what’s mine, leave what’s yours, we have nothing to share. Anything else you want to talk about?"

Eleanor silently exited, returning to her room, leaving the space for the two of them.

"You’ve decided so quickly?" Trevor leaned lazily against the wall, his tall fra making even a bent-knee posture feel imposing, forcing Blake to look up, "Blake, before your mom passed, she carefully chose so that I could protect you. Aren’t you afraid your mom won’t have peace if you divorce ?"

"Afraid, of course I’m afraid."

Blake looked at Trevor calmly, her voice rational and cold, "But Trevor, my mom should be more afraid of compromising and seeing mistresses crashing in, or other won bringing illegitimate children into the house. I believe in my mother’s love for ; she would understand and support ."

"You..."

"I knew about Vivian Quinn’s pregnancy before you did."
