Chapter 134: Chapter 110: What Kind of Monster Are You?

Bai Dingzhou.

Below the Advanced Technology Group Corporation building, a crowd of reporters was interviewing one of the company’s executives. The topic of the interview was the Night City Extraordinary Church, which had been causing more and more trouble recently.

A reporter asked the Advanced Technology executive how long it would take to eliminate the mbers of the Extraordinary Church.

The Advanced Technology executive confidently stated that they had already found traces of the Extraordinary Church’s activities and estimated that they could completely quell the unrest within three months.

The reporters wanted to ask more.

But just then, a young man who had appeared out of nowhere walked over and asked, "I need to see your President Andre. Who can take a ssage to him for ?"

Upon hearing the young man’s question, the scene fell silent for a mont.

The executive from the Advanced Technology Group glanced back at the young man. With caras nearby, he couldn’t act too harshly.

He didn’t just tell the man to get lost, but instead said irritably, "President Andre doesn’t see outsiders. If you want to see him, you can contact him yourself through a communicator!"

Although the executive’s tone was as restrained as he could manage, it still sounded rather harsh.

After all, if the man could actually contact President Andre, why would he co all the way to the Advanced Technology building to ask him?

Hearing his response, the young man’s expression remained serious as he said, "I don’t have President Andre’s contact information. Why don’t you give it to ?"

The executive’s eyes narrowed, his gaze turning hostile. "If you don’t have his contact information, then get lost!" he cursed. "Do you have any idea where you are?"

If it weren’t for the dia reporters nearby and the fear of bad publicity, the executive would have already called security to drag this young man away and teach him a lesson.

Seeing that he wasn’t going to get the contact information, the young man sighed. "In that case," he said with resignation, "I’ll just have to go up myself!"

Hearing this, the executive scoffed, finally losing his composure. After glancing at the reporters and giving them a look, he turned and pulled out his walkie-talkie. "Security, we have a troublemaker down here. Send a few n to grab him. And rember to teach him a good lesson..."

Before he could finish his sentence, a tall, slender, and breathtakingly beautiful young woman stepped out from behind the young man. With a single wave of her hand, the Advanced Technology Group executive discovered that the walkie-talkie in his hand had vanished.

But it wasn’t just the walkie-talkie that disappeared.

His hand was gone, too.

His left sleeve was empty from the cuff down, as if there had never been anything there at all.

And yet, the executive hadn’t felt even the slightest bit of pain.

He lifted his arm to look at the empty sleeve, then looked up at the blonde young woman not far away. His eyes widened bit by bit, as if he were seeing a ghost in broad daylight.

He didn’t recognize the young man,

but because he had once worked in the confidentiality departnt a few years ago, he recognized the tall, blonde young woman next to him!

Anna Kafelina! Three years ago, she was already a Tier Six Peak Transcendent, known as the invisible guardian of Night City’s Emperor!

’So why would such a sensitive figure, soone who should be caught in the crossfire of the major corporations back in Night City, suddenly appear below the Advanced Technology Group building?’

’And the young man next to her... could he be the infamous Night City Emperor... Little Charles?’

’No, that’s impossible!’

’Little Charles is currently wanted worldwide by the Advanced Technology Group. How could he possibly stroll up so brazenly to the company’s front door?’

...

The surrounding reporters had originally wanted to ask a few more interesting questions.

But after witnessing the scene that had just unfolded, they all took several steps back, terrified of getting caught in the crossfire.

Of course, no matter the ti or place, their professional integrity as reporters was still top-notch.

Even though they were so scared they wanted to turn tail and run, their caras were still faithfully recording everything that was happening.

When Li Chang’an was younger, he often appeared in public.

But after becoming the Emperor of Night City, he spent most of his ti in his office building’s laboratory and rarely appeared in the outside world. As a result, none of the reporters recognized him at first glance.

It was only after Anna made her move that a few of the more knowledgeable reporters realized sothing was amiss and their eyes widened in disbelief.

But at this point, whether the reporters recognized Li Chang’an or not was completely aningless.

They all knew that just based on the fact that ’a Transcendent attacked an executive at the Advanced Technology Group headquarters,’ if they could break this story, it would absolutely be a massive piece of news that would shock the entire world!

...

In just a few breaths’ ti, mbers of the Advanced Technology Group’s security departnt had already appeared and surrounded them.

As the sole global supplier of the Extraordinary Potion, even the lowest-ranking security guards within the Advanced Group were Tier One Transcendents.

At this mont, the heavily ard Transcendents glared fiercely, their gazes fixed warily on Li Chang’an. One of them roared, "Everyone, hands up! Don’t move!"

Li Chang’an, Anna, and the other top-tier Transcendents with them ignored the clamor. The group simply followed behind Li Chang’an and walked straight toward the entrance of the Advanced Technology Group’s building.

Seeing how brazenly he ignored them, the security departnt mbers no longer hesitated. One opened fire directly at Li Chang’an, while many others unleashed their Extraordinary Powers, attacking him from all sides and angles.
