Chapter 356: Chapter 356 Dialogue with the Forr Crown Prince (1)

After the prince woke up, naturally he was not cooperative at first, but after experiencing a quarter hour of pain package, he behaved honestly.

“Cald down now? Can we talk properly? How should I address you, Prince?”

“Deep.”

“Deep, how many fusion zones are there currently within your borders? Is there a fusion zone near the Royal Capital?”

“There’s only one fusion zone, none near the Royal Capital.”

“Only one? Why just one? The territory you’ve occupied here isn’t even as large as your holand?”

“The number of fusion zones can be controlled artificially.”

Prince Dipul dropped a bombshell piece of information.

“Artificially controlled? Who can control them?”

“A circle of Space Wizards, with two Witch Saints leading them, discovered first that two worlds were rging. The fusion zones are points where the two worlds touch, and with their own abilities, they forcibly increased the number of fusion zones, turning them into Space Channels, allowing the joint army of countries in our world to forcibly enter.”

“And then? How co there’s only one fusion zone here?”

“After we established the nation here, we closed the artificially opened fusion zones. It consud too much energy, leaving only the naturally opened ones.”

“Can people still enter and exit the naturally occurring fusion zones?”

“Yes, they are a national important resource, all the good stuff is hidden there.”

“Good, where is this fusion zone located?”

“It’s in…”

“Haven’t had enough pain yet? Want to go another round?”

“In… my territory.”

“Where exactly is it located?”

“In the greenhouse garden of my territory’s castle.”

“Where is the transmission platform directly connecting to your territory? Is it safe to go straight there?”

“It’s safe, also in the greenhouse garden.”

“Aren’t you afraid sothing will happen, putting it so close?”

“No worries, we’ve established our nation for a long ti, the national situation is stable, and the fusion zone nowadays serves more as a giant warehouse, goods sent through the transmission platform are delivered into the fusion zone by the shortest path.”

“If I take you there, won’t we be discovered?”

“No, the forces protecting the greenhouse are outside, you’d have to walk out of the greenhouse to be surrounded.”

“Alright, let’s go then, I can’t wait to see what a naturally ford fusion zone looks like.”

“…Ah?”

“Ah what?”

As Ye Nai spoke, she opened a Transmission Port out of thin air in front of them.

Prince Dipul was dumbfounded.

“Opening a Transmission Port barehanded, are you a Space Departnt Witch Saint born in this world?”

“Maybe, I haven’t seen your Space Wizards, nobody has asured , so I’m currently searching everywhere for them, haven’t found a single one yet.”

Ye Nai bent down, picked up the much taller prince off the ground, and helped him stand.

“Space Wizards are the most mysterious, even for us, finding them isn’t easy. They’re the ones who actively contacted all countries about the two-world fusion.”

“Very well, you go first, stay quiet, do you understand? I don’t wish to deal with those innocent soldiers.”

Pushed by Ye Nai, the prince walked directly into the Transmission Port, with a blink of an eye, he was standing in his familiar greenhouse garden.

Ye Nai followed closely behind him, stepping out, and the Transmission Port closed imdiately.

Dipul obediently didn’t shout.

Ye Nai looked around, marveling at the scale of the greenhouse garden.

“Prince, calling this a greenhouse garden is modest of you. It’s like a small pavilion in a botanical garden, truly befitting of royal family mbers, truly grand.”

Ye Nai glanced at the roof, guessing roughly the size of the greenhouse but still spoke in a hushed voice to avoid any noise that might draw the attention of the forces outside.

“You’re too kind.” The prince was very sensible, speaking in the sa hushed voice as Ye Nai.

“Let’s go, lead the way to the entrance there.”

“This way.”

Under Prince Dipul’s lead, the two walked diagonally through the greenhouse, slipping into a section filled with vines, where they found the Space Channel surrounded by all sorts of vine plants.

It’s tiny, just one door fra size.

Of course, this door fra size is according to the Otherworldly people’s height. The Space Channel used last ti when sending the Smoke Formation Team back was just like this.

Ye Nai urged the prince to hurry inside.

In the blink of an eye, they found themselves in another place.

A dry place where the wind that blew in felt dry, almost like it sucked the moisture out of your skin.

And no one else was around.

“There’s really no one here?”

“There’s no transmission platform to go out from here, even if an escapee ran in, once blocked from this side, people either surrender or get trapped inside, so there’s no need to station guards, saving manpower and resources.”

“Such a dry place is indeed a natural warehouse for storing supplies.”

“This is the desert’s edge.”

“This is my second ti seeing such a small Space Channel, why are most of the Space Channels towering?”

“Those were intentionally made that way, ant to display power, to intimidate you, and to crush your spirit of resisting our joint army.”

“Intentionally made? Can the exits of Space Channels be artificially widened further? Doesn’t that consu energy?”

“It consus a lot of energy indeed, so only the first huge Space Channels were real. Over ti, as energy supply dwindled, decades later, the channel mouth had shrunk to a convenient size for us to pass through, maintaining only deceptive outer outlines as part of the deceptive tactic, making you think we’d co back again at any ti, and the Space Channel’s inner diater isn’t steel, things going in and out as long as they’re not overly huge, pass through smoothly, you all haven’t noticed over the years.”

Ye Nai was speechless; she indeed drove a tractor out of a Secret Realm without bumping into anything or feeling stopped.

“As a country’s heir, do you know how much land your joint army has occupied here?”

“They’ve occupied almost everything, larger countries have been fragnted and divided, only one country still hasn’t been… ah! You…!”

Prince Dipul finally realized, with trembling fingers pointing at Ye Nai, speechless with a choked voice.

“Yes, I am from that country, currently all over our territory are towering Space Channels, they’re annoying to look at. And now you tell , because you can’t afford the energy, such giant things are just deceptive fake outlines? Tell the fastest way to completely close them down? So I don’t have to dismantle each transmission platform one by one.”

“Actually, the way to completely shut them down is to dismantle the transmission platform. The material of the transmission platform is a kind that can absorb and conduct energy, connecting with the fusion zone to your world’s holand, drawing energy from back ho to maintain the artificially opened fusion zone. If one platform can conduct less energy, then more platforms are placed, so you dismantle the platforms, without energy transmission, the artificially opened Space Channel will close.”
