Late at night, the large pit was overgrown with grass, concealing any traces of digging.

The altar that had been unearthed had its energy devoured by the fungus within the space, crumbling into debris. The new fungus magic patterns guided Ye Nai to the location of the next altar.

She went there overnight and continued digging.

Fortunately, it didn't rain in the new location. She worked until dawn, replanted turf over the refilled pit, then Ye Nai took out her house to shower and sleep.

With each relocation, a large number of spores were released. So freely grew in the soil while others hunted around, capturing various mutant beasts and mutant plants into her space.

Ye Nai got up at noon, checked the new prey in her space. The autumn mutant beasts fattened up for winter; even the casual catch could fetch a nice price.

In the catch were wild mice and hares. Ye Nai had the fungus process the mice according to East Ridge Secret Realm traditions, keeping the teeth, pelts, and the gutted carcasses intact, while the hares avoided the teeth-pulling step but were otherwise treated the sa.

Specially stinking offal that gives the at its funky flavor was all kept intact, not a bit was removed.

All other dium to large prey was kept whole, not a single hair disturbed, intending to sell them all to the Mountain Leopard Team, as a demonstration of her strength.

Digging one altar per day, Ye Nai spent ten days in the Secret Realm, desperately missing her hotel room. She had paid for a month's stay, yet barely used a few days of it—what a loss that would be.

According to the spores' positioning, though thousands of kiloters apart, Ye Nai still knew the Mountain Leopard Team's location and teleported nearby using Space Teleportation.

Under the sa plane of existence, it was her first ti experiencing such a long-distance Space Teleportation, causing her to lie down upon landing as darkness flashed before her eyes and nausea overwheld her. Clenching her teeth, she forcibly sat up, took out a sports energy drink, and sipped it slowly. Half a bottle later, she finally recovered.

She checked the position of the Mountain Leopard Team's base again, about a hundred kiloters from her.

Unconsciously, the sensitivity between her and the spores had strengthened to this extent.

She took out the small building to rest on the spot, and anwhile reverted laundry and other paid services to their original prices, ntioning to the Mountain Leopard Team that it had been a trial run. If it was a trial run, then it was just that, and the regular prices would apply on their next venture into the Secret Realm.

What the Water Prison Team had paid last ti was considered a price hike for the rainy days, yes, that sounded about right.

The next day, Ye Nai drove to the Mountain Leopard Team's base.

There were no roads in the wilderness; as long as the direction was correct, any driving thod was fine. Ye Nai floored the accelerator, not slowing down for dips and bumps, the vehicle often leaping into the air, speeding like a flying car.

As the outskirts of the large base ca into sight and Ye Nai began to decelerate, she saw a convoy of four vehicles speeding out from the base, two off-road vehicles and two troop carriers.

They were in a mad rush, unclear on their objective.

The convoy was about to turn when the lead vehicle suddenly screeched to a halt beside Ye Nai's car, the passenger side aligning with her window.

The person quickly rolled down their window. It was a familiar main battle team mber.

"Ye Nai, there's a rescue mission. Can you help? Set your radio to our squad's channel," the person said.

After the channel was reported, Ye Nai answered with a brisk "Okay" and began tuning the radio.

The convoy set off again, and Ye Nai followed them to the rescue site. Steering with one hand, she reached for the communicator with the other and pressed the talk button.

"I'm Ye Nai. What's the specific nature of the rescue mission?"

"A whole private army flipped into a ditch. We don't know how many are dead or injured. The person calling for help was unclear and might be badly hurt themselves. Fortunately, the radio was on, so we can locate them using the wireless signal."

"Caused by rain?"

"No, they were attacked by mutant beasts."

"That sounds pretty bad."

"Yeah, no idea how many will survive."

The radio fell silent as the driving speed increased again in an effort to hurry to the destination.

After running for more than half an hour, they finally spotted the chaotic tire tracks and the hoofprints of the mutant beasts on the ground.

Following the tracks led them to the overturned private army vehicles. Over a small hill lay a creek ditch with a babbling stream. Four of the seven vehicles had toppled into the water, and three lay by the water's edge. Ten bloodied n were sprawled across the ground, while the creek was devoid of people, their belongings scattered all around.

The number of people clearly did not match the number of vehicles.

On average, only a driver and an additional three passengers per vehicle were expected.

That seed impossible.

The group parked their cars and rushed down to the gully, so to inspect the vehicles, while Ye Nai dashed toward the ten people on the ground.

A quick check revealed that four of the ten were dead, and the remaining six had external injuries, fractures, and internal injuries, with two suffering from open limb fractures, bleeding profusely onto the ground.

"These four are gone, get the bags."

The quick assessnt gave Yezi a clear picture, so she checked again to show the others present.

Imdiately, warriors brought out four body bags, unfolded them on the ground, and carefully placed each of the four bodies inside before lifting them away.

The remaining six survivors posed a challenge, as they might not endure the bumpy ride back to the main camp for treatnt and needed field surgery to save their lives.

Team mbers who went to check the vehicles in the water returned one by one, all shaking their heads.

"The cars subrged in the water, everyone's gone. We don't know who called for rescue."

"Then it's just these six people who are alive."

"If they're all gone, let's just get the cars up."

A warrior stepped forward, collected the four cars from the water, brought them up, then went back down for the three cars on the shore and placed them above.

All seven vehicles were retrieved like that.

"Ye Nai, can you help us bring these cars back? They are still the property of this small team."

The reason the rescue team had asked Ye Nai to stop was because they knew her Space Energy could be put to good use, so they wouldn't have to make multiple trips for the vehicles.

"Sure, no problem."

Ye Nai nodded indifferently.

She also had sothing to say.

"What about these six people? Do we have a dic? They need surgery to stop the internal bleeding; otherwise, they might not make it back."

Imdiately, two people stepped forward, "We do have a dic, but no operating room."

"We have an operating room. Get the injured up here and let the dic perform the surgery. Save as many as we can."

The rescue team was sowhat taken aback, but in the next second, they saw Ye Nai return to the top of the gully and release a pristine, portable building with a large sign on its roof.

Health Clinic Operating Room.

"Wow!"

"Is that really an operating room?!"

The people standing at the bottom of the gully ran up in surprise.

"Of course, it's an operating room. It's completely up to hospital standards."

"Internal surgery, huh? Is that doable?"

"It's all in the hands of fate now. Besides assisting in the operating room, I've only personally perford bullet removal surgeries on limbs."

"Which hospital did you receive practical training at?"

"Military hospital. East Ridge City, danger zone 5's military hospital. I've worked in the ER, wards, and operating rooms."

"Good, experience is what matters. Let's do it. Move the patients up; we stay down here, and more lives will be lost."
