As the two successfully pledged their allegiance and signed a different magic contract, Leonard ca clean with his identity.
"Y-You’re the Crown Prince?" Elise’s mouth was left agape. Her pupils constricted, and her body began to tremble from fright.
Nadia was more or less the sa, albeit with a less agitated reaction.
Because she was still suffering from the extraction process, she couldn’t express much of her emotion yet.
"C-Commoner Nadia greets the Crown Prince." Nadia stutteringly said.
Elise also realized she had yet to greet him properly and hurriedly apologized.
"Alright, that’s enough!" Leonard exclaid.
"Right now, I’m Vincent Bond, a gold ranked rchant. Once we get to the Royal Velastra Hotel, then you can assu your new role as the Crown Prince’s new guard." He warned sternly.
Nodding their heads, Elise assisted Nadia in bowing and greeting their new Master.
’What a ss this is.’ Leonard sighed inwardly. Having too much responsibility in one’s hands was truly a headache by itself.
Soti later, the trio exited the secret compartnt and arrived at the surface level.
Upon their arrival, they quickly spotted Mirelle struggling to remove so of the clothes from a few corpses.
"Ugh, these n sll so bad!" Mirelle hissed coldly. She was struggling because of the terrible odor and their disgusting expression.
Even in death, they still appeared extrely hideous.
And maybe because of the frustration she suppressed. Mirelle would occasionally give a few kicks on the corpses to vent, clearly following the Rosalia Troupe’s previous actions.
"You do realize you’re responsible for cleaning the clothes, right?" Leonard suddenly said. "If you keep kicking them and dirtying the clothes, it’ll only be harder for you later on."
Shortly after his statent, Mirelle’s leg was suspended midair. It was just a few ters away from landing on another corpse.
’I know I have sinned, but did you need to keep humiliating to such a degree?’ Mirelle flashed a bittersweet smile. The attitude that Leonard had been giving her was much worse than before.
It was clear that he still held grudges toward Irene’s death and her adamant decision to keep Claudia.
The assassin definitely identified him because of Claudia’s appearance, or at the very least, believed he was related to the Crown Prince. Either way, the root cause was still laid in her.
Although Caroline had warned her in advance to be prepared for an upcoming harsh treatnt from Leonard, she didn’t expect it to be this much.
She was still a sixth circle mage at the end of the day.
Couldn’t he have given her so other highly difficult task instead of this trivial duty?
She wouldn’t even mind if she were ordered to eliminate so of his competitors’ enemies.
While Mirelle was on the verge of a ntal breakdown, Leonard paid no attention to her.
"Go and loot every other corpse." He turned to the two sisters who had just pledged allegiance to him to assist Mireille.
They couldn’t afford to spend too much in the lodious Bar.
Given that Zach had attempted to stop them ant they were exposed already. If so, then it was possible there might be more Death Guards rushing to their direction already.
Leonard no longer felt invincible, so he didn’t wish to take too much of a risk.
"Yes, Master!" Both Elise and Nadia responded.
They then split off and began looting the corpses in a lightning-flash manner.
Their swift and precise actions caused Mirelle to beco speechless.
"They are experts in looting corpses?" She twitched her mouth.
In the blink of an eye, they completed looting and brought everything to Leonard.
"Good," he nodded his head in satisfaction.
"Looks like the two of you are already proving yourself more useful than soone else." He said and subtly glanced at Mirelle.
"Thank you, Master." Elise and Nadia gracefully accepted the complint.
As if that wasn’t enough, the two of them gave a smirk toward Mirelle.
So what if you were strong?
If you can’t please the Master, then you’re basically nothing!
’These two ungrateful bitches!’ Mirelle cursed silently. She rescued them and even helped kill their enemies. Yet not only were they not grateful for her actions, they were even trying to take over her place.
Talk about backstabbing bastards!
Little did Mirelle know. The two of them were only desperately trying to cling to Leonard and remain by his side for shelter, safety, and insurance.
Although it was true that they were loyal to Leonard, they also hoped to be of use and not so discarded tools.
"Start burning the building, Mirelle." Leonard naturally discerned the secret battle between them but chose to ignore it.
Having a competition among themselves to compete for his favor wasn’t bad.
At the very least, this would ensure Mirelle would learn her place and stop her foolish demands.
If there were ever another "Claudia" type popping out, Leonard would have them killed on the spot.
Just one Claudia had already caused him to lose his emotions!
Soti later, Leonard exited the bar alongside Elise and Nadia.
Mirelle remained in the bar for a few seconds as she cast powerful fla spells to burn everything down to a crisp.
"Let’s go." Leonard turned around and began leaving. He didn’t plan on staying to watch the process.
After all, even if so cliche scenario occurred, such as so evidence was left behind, he would be more than welco for it.
’I wonder if Darius could endure this gift of mine.’ Leonard sneered inwardly.
Not only did he snatch away his guard in front of every other noble. But he also made sure to burn down one of his precious money-making businesses.
Even a saint would get mad at such situations, right?
A few minutes had gone by since Leonard’s group left the scene when multiple swooshing sounds could be heard.
"Seems like we were still a bit late." A person wearing the Death Guard uniform comnted.
"The reinforcent signal was only sent a few minutes ago. Just who is this powerful person to eradicate everything here?" Another Death Guard asked in disbelief.
