Baek Ain and Lan Rou were "steadily." carried by the Heavenly Gryphon to Qingshan Town, 131 miles away from the magical beast mountain. And it took the magical beast known as the King of Sky less than one hour to reach this place.
"We are here." Lan Rou comnted while looking down.
Qingshan Town is a small town near the magical beast forest. And people called it Magic Beast Town for that reason, inviting rcenary groups and rogues from the Northwest Region of the Jia Ma Empire. It's their resting place, after all.
'This place is around 1/5 the size of Wu Tan City.' Baek Ain thought, using Sixth Sense to pinpoint any strong cultivator. He only discovered three 2-Star Dou Masters. The rest are either Dou Disciples or people with no cultivation.
Baek Ain was disappointed but shook his head because he wouldn't experience the sa problem as Xiao Yan. 'Imagine getting bullied by small fries...' He smiled a little.
"Let's resupply our daily necessities first."
"Also, check the restaurant. I'm tired of eating magical beast's at and soup every goddamn day."
Lan Rou chuckled and responded, "Yeah. I am fed up with those foods."
Lan Rou used to eat at jerky and water only on her mission, but living with Baek Ain changed her lifestyle and food preference. She couldn't help but enjoy his cooking.
Baek Ain ordered Heavenly Gryphon to rest on a nearby mountain. He and Lan Rou walked down to Qingshan Mountain, checking so shops until a commotion happened.
"THIS IS MINE! I DISCOVERED THIS MAP FIRST!"
"WHAT THE HELL, ARE YOU BLIND? I BOUGHT IT ALREADY!"
Two shouts echoed in the street, causing Baek Ain to frown.
He used Sixth Sense and saw two people fighting over an old-looking map. He scanned the map briefly and mumbled, "An inheritance, eh?"

Soone crashed into Baek Ain accidentally. It was a charming-looking lady in a pale white dress with long white hair.
"Sorry." She guiltily smiled while walking away from him.
Baek Ain's gaze swept across the lady's body before finally landing on a narrow waist wrapped by a green belt. Seeing that waist and inviting ass, amazent flashed in his hazel-gold eyes.
Baek Ain turned around and whispered, "Ah, I thought she would go by this ti... To think I'd t her here."

"Do you know her?" Lan Rou asked doubtfully.
"No?"
"Your face says otherwise, though."
"It's my first ti eting that lady, Rou."
Baek Ain recognized Little Fairy Doctor or Xiao Yi Xian because of three unique factors, Yao n's mory as Alchemist Saint, Alchemist Instinct(S), and Poison Immunity.

After thinking for a while, Baek Ain couldn't waste such talent as Xiao Yi Xian in a place like Qingshan Town. Not to ntion she would be used by the Hall of Souls at this point, making her life miserable.
Since Baek Ain shad Xiao Yan in Wu Tan City's incident, the protagonist changed his course and went to the Jian Ma Academy alongside Gu Xun'er. Xiao Yan didn't et Yun Yun, but Baek Ain did.
Xiao Yan should have t Xiao Yi Xian a month ago. However, Xiao Yan didn't because of Baek Ain's presence. Everything changed abruptly.

She dragged Baek Ain to the nearest shop and bought food there. They rested for today and enjoyed Qingshan Town despite the weird gazes people gave them.
A group of n tried to stop Lan Rou and snatch her from Baek Ain, only to get beaten by her a second later. Those poor n got their balls kicked by Lan Rou.
Rip, no descendant.
The news about Lan Rou has spread all over Qingshan Town, considering she beat those n in a crowded street. And just as expected, a shady-looking man approached them in the restaurant.
"Mm~!" Baek Ain ate his fried rice and watched the scene unfold.
"Hello, Lady." The shady-looking man stepped up. "My na is Mu She. I'm the leader of Wolf Head rcenary."
"I heard so of my subordinates caused a problem. Why don't we settle it down peacefully?"
"Scram." Lan Rou didn't even bother to see Mu She and scooped Baek Ain's fried rice with her spoon.
Mu She's mouth twitched as he changed his attention to Baek Ain. "Young man, right here. Is it bothering you to hear a few of my explanations?"
Baek Ain chewed his food and answered, "Sorry, man."
"I don't have any spare money on ."
"I know life is hard, but I'm pretty sure the other restaurants give more donations." He continued, making Mu She look like a holess man.
"Pfft." Lan Rou chuckled while slapping the table.
"Hahaha~!"
Her amused laughter filled the restaurant, causing Mu She's face to redden in anger. However, Mu She held back his annoyance because this young man's strength was unknown.
'My subordinate said this woman is around 4-Star Dou Master. That's two realms higher than mine, and I can't afford to offend her.' The leader of Wolf Head rcenary thought while clenching his hand.
He walked away and planned sothing, not knowing Baek Ain had placed a tracker on him.
Baek Ain and Lan Rou finished their dinners, renting an inn room for tonight.
"Do you think he'd be brave enough to attack us?" Lan Rou questioned while lying on the bed.
Baek Ain shook his head and replied, "It's fifty, fifty."
"From our first encounter, the way he talks and moves are like a rat with a vicious personality. He's sneaky enough to use evil thods to attack you."
"No, He probably justified ambushing you for attacking his subordinate first."
Baek Ain looked at the window and added, "Unfortunately for him. The woman he was about to fight is Gale Demon herself."

Baek Ain frowned when seeing Xiao Yi Xian and mumbled, "I wonder what happened to her... Since no Xiao Yan is around and the Wolf Head rcenary Group hasn't moved to search for the inheritance, she shouldn't have caused too much of a problem."

"Why, though?" He pondered while jumping from roof to roof, approaching the destroyed area.
