The next day, in the early morning
Nun Griselda, its Gero.
Gero knocked on the door and called out. He had been thinking about Nun Griselda all night, so early in the morning, he ca to the outside of Griseldas room. Unlike last night when there was no response, this ti, not long after he knocked, the door to the room opened, revealing Griseldas figure.
Good morning, Clergy Gero. Is there sothing you need?
Griselda, looking radiant and pure, smiled and greeted Gero. He was dumbfounded, wondering if he was seeing things. The Nun Griselda before him was full of vitality and completely different from the weary figure he had seen yesterday.
Additionally, it might just be his imagination, but the present Nun Griselda not only exuded a pure and sacred aura but also an astonishing charm that he had never seen before. For a mont, Gero couldnt help but be captivated.
Clergy Gero, did you co about yesterdays matter?
Please forgive my rudeness yesterday. But Im perfectly fine now. Thank you for your concern.
Griselda, sharp and perceptive, naturally understood why Gero was so surprised. She also knew the purpose of his visit, so she smiled gently and spoke.
G-Griselda, what what exactly happened?
Finally coming to his senses, Gero also noticed his own awkwardness. His face turned red, but at this mont, he was more concerned about what had happened. Why had Nun Griselda undergone such a drastic change overnight?
To be honest, recently Ive had so doubts about my Belief Sighing softly, Griselda explained.
Doubts about your Belief!
Surprised, Gero couldnt help but exclaim. Just like practitioners sotis face the risk of demonic influence during their training, believers also often experience doubts about their own Beliefs. This was a very dangerous situation, as most of the lost and fallen individuals in the Church had gone through this.
To think that a devout living saint like Nun Griselda would experience sothing like this! It suddenly all made sense. No wonder Nun Griselda looked so haggard, and why she had been repenting and praying before the Lords Gods Idol so often lately
Nun Griselda, then you
As you can see, Im perfectly fine now, and my Belief has stabilized.
With a gentle and pure smile, Griselda replied. Believers who experience doubts about their Beliefs usually end up with one of two outcos. Either their Belief completely collapses, leading to them becoming lost and fallen, or they hold onto themselves, becoming even more pure and devout.
Breathing a sigh of relief, Gero realized he had been foolish. Since Nun Griselda appeared before him, it ant that she had already overco the ordeal. He felt embarrassed for getting so unnecessarily worked up just now.
However, it was because he cared deeply for Nun Griselda. Gero couldnt bear to imagine the horrifying scene if Nun Griselda were to beco their enemy after falling.
You truly are Nun Griselda. I knew everything would be alright if it was you.
The atmosphere had lightened considerably, and Gero sincerely praised her. Not everyone can hold onto themselves when their Belief wavers and he himself had no confidence in doing so. Yet, Nun Griselda had achieved it. She was truly exceptional.
Actually, it was the arrival and guidance of the Lord that helped cast away all doubts and confusion, allowing to regain a new life.
Shaking her head, Griselda replied.
Thats truly The Lords arrival?!
Gero, who had been about to say sothing subconsciously, suddenly widened his eyes, his face filled with an expression of disbelief.
The real presence of the Lord descended here last night, not only forgiving my sins but also guiding with radiant light, Griselda said, her hands pressed against her chest in a gesture of reverence. Her beautiful face was filled with boundless devotion and fascination.
Gero, upon hearing this, couldnt help but inhale sharply. Given his position in the Church, he wasnt privy to the fact that the Lord had passed away.
He knew that it had been a long ti since the Lord had personally appeared on Earth; all oracles and blessings were carried out by Archangels like Michael and Gabriel.
For Nun Griselda to receive the Lords personal visit and guidance was a trendous honor.
Sister Griselda, did the Lord truly descend last night? Gero asked, his lips dry, seeking confirmation.
Smiling and nodding, Griselda thought to herself that not only did the Lord descend, but He also bestowed upon her an unparalleled grace. Even now, she could still feel the warmth left by the Lord inside her.
Upon receiving confirmation from Griselda, Gero felt a surge of excitent. He looked at Griselda with admiration.
Clergy Gero, please keep the fact of the Lords visit here confidential for now. Do not disclose it to others, Griselda suddenly said, her tone turning serious.
Why is that? Gero didnt quite understand. He had been planning to spread this good news to the others in the church. While they hadnt been as fortunate as Nun Griselda to receive the Lords direct guidance, just the fact that the Lord had visited their church was sothing they could be imnsely proud of.
It is the Lords command, Griselda said calmly, offering no further explanation.
Gero imdiately held his tongue, not daring to ask any further. If it was the Lords command, then there must be a reason. He would simply follow it obediently. However, since the Lord had commanded secrecy, yet Griselda had chosen to inform him, could it be that she had a special
Filled with joy, Gero couldnt help but let his imagination run wild. This young man certainly had a penchant for fantasizing.
Clergy Gero, as you can see, I am perfectly fine now. If there is nothing else, you may return.
Alright. Please help summon the other sisters from the church. Ask them to co to my room.
Do you need sothing from them, Sister Griselda?
Please dont ask too much.
Seeing Griseldas pretending-to-be-serious expression, Gero suddenly revealed a knowing smile.
I understand, Sister Griselda. Leave it to !
Patting his chest, Clergy Gero happily went off to fetch the sisters for Griselda. Griseldas lips twitched slightly, feeling a bit speechless. She hadnt said anything, so she wondered what that naive boy thought he understood.
However, rembering the Lords command to her, Griselda quickly pushed Geros matter out of her mind. This was the first task that the Holy Lord had entrusted to her, and she had to do it well. Besides, the Lord had promised that if she succeeded, He would descend again to bestow His grace upon her.
Thinking of the Lords grace bestowed upon her last night, Griseldas body grew warm once more
