[You have beco a 'VIP User', the VIP Shop is now open to you.]

After selecting his rewards, Bai Mu finally had the free ti to take a look at this newly unlocked 'True Mode'.

Simply put, True Mode was an expansion-type 'Community Script', a mode played by consuming Community Ti.

Dying in True Mode was just like a Community Script; you simply returned to the Community. Moreover, in True Mode, there were no points, shop, or item rewards like in Main Scripts and Item Modes, and players couldn't bring out any items or equipnt from the mode.

To participate in this mode, the Paradise would throw the player into a random world and wouldn't issue any quests.

In other words, it was an open-world style of gaplay. However, participating in this mode would deduct the expected Community Ti at the exact mont of entering the mode.

There were only two ways for players to leave a True Mode world: either die early or stay inside until the mode's ti ended. And if one died early, the Community Ti would not be refunded.

In True Mode, players couldn't take any external objects with them; the only things they could take away were the skills and knowledge they had learned. For example, if you learned internal energy from a martial arts expert, upon exiting, your status panel would have internal energy added to it.

As for bloodline-type items, they seed to also take effect. If you were bitten by a zombie in a zombie world, you would turn into a zombie when you returned. However, Bai Mu noticed a prompt for True Mode: 'Everything in this mode will be real.' According to his understanding, this sentence probably ant that after being bitten by a zombie, the person who returned and turned into a zombie would no longer be a conscious human being, but a real zombie. The player wouldn't retain their consciousness like when using bloodline-type items.

Of course, if the player could realize this and swing their sword to commit suicide beforehand, they could avoid this outco. After all, True Mode would tally imdiately at the mont of the player's death. But if they were unlucky and turned into a zombie, losing their consciousness, then it was essentially no different from dying. Thinking about this matter made him feel an inexplicable sense of horror.

Perhaps in so other Community room, there was a man-eating zombie or undead player. However, this kind of 'player' would probably die very quickly. After all, they wouldn't be able to understand what a 'Main Quest' was, and they'd probably be treated as garbage and cleared out during the next script after their Community Ti ran out.

He beca a bit interested in this mode. Under this mode, it was actually equivalent to an even larger training ground. Inside, players' skills and items wouldn't be restricted. He could practice skills like the 'Secret Sword Art' to his heart's content, or exercise his body inside to increase his attribute stats.

However, going in didn't necessarily an improvent in a completely real world... If he was lazy, gluttonous, and gained a lot of fat inside, he estimated his basic attribute stats might even decrease.

Isn't that exactly what the 'real world' is like?

Exactly how it was, he'd still have to experience it to know.

Actually, he could also just ignore it. After all, it wasn't a mandatory mode, just an expansion mode, similar to an entertainnt mode outside of ranked matches.

If he was worried about risks, staying in the Community was also an option. In the Community, no matter how much he ssed around, the attribute stats on his panel and the skills he had already learned wouldn't disappear, and they could also be improved through exercise and learning.

The only difference was that under 'True Mode', there would be more opportunities, but there might also be risks.

Bai Mu set it aside for now. He still hadn't checked the shop. Having just beco a VIP User, he was impatient to see what was sold in the high-tier shop.

After opening the shop interface, he indeed saw a previously non-existent small golden window in the upper right corner, with the words 'VIP Shop' written on it in a low-key but luxurious dark gold.

Taking a glance outside, there was nothing he was interested in on the first page. Many were duplicate items, and he had basically gotten the good items when he completed the quests.

After relying on the Shopaholic ability to refresh a new page, he clicked open the VIP Shop.

He deliberated back and forth between the two shops before he could decide which items to buy.

There were only three items on display inside, fewer than the five items in the normal shop, but every single one of them was Rare grade, and they were even placed in exclusive glass boxes lined with red velvet.

The very first item made his eyes light up. This was the thing he had just used earlier and achieved remarkably good combat results with.

[Na: Shadow-Slayer Blade]

[Type: lee Weapon]

[Quality: Rare]

[Attack Power: Extrely High]

[Attribute: Yin]

[Equipnt Effect: Deals an additional 30% Yin attribute damage to the target and applies the 'Malevolent Aura Effect'. The malevolent aura on the target will continuously burn the enemy and absorb a small amount of Health for the user, but the user themselves will also suffer from malevolent aura backlash.]

[Equipnt Requirent: Strength attribute reaches 20 points.]

[Note: It is thirsting for blood.]

It was exactly the Shadow-Slayer Blade he had used to pin down the red-haired flying zombie. In terms of offensive power alone, this blade was the strongest among all the weapons he had handled so far.

That broadsword zombie was indeed difficult to deal with. Its body was very tough, and unlike other zombies, its stats were very high. Every strike carried imnse strength, and it wore sturdy armor. Most importantly, it also knew martial arts, with every strike following a set routine.

That was probably the zombie with the strongest frontal combat ability in the script besides the red-haired flying zombie. During its life, it was most likely a general or bodyguard under the King of Huainan, possessing a tall and burly physique.

The reason Bai Mu could defeat it so quickly was also because he had obtained the Fla of Earth Yang, and at that ti, he happened to unlock 'Sacrificial Passage'. Relying on a joint attack with Xiao Wei and consuming four scavenged bronze swords, he finally managed to cut it down from its horse.

He still felt it was quite a pity that he couldn't bring this blade out. But now, it appeared directly in the VIP Shop, looking as good as new.

The only drawback was that Bai Mu found the prices of items in the VIP Shop to be significantly more expensive than the items outside.

This Shadow-Slayer Blade actually cost 1600 points. According to his expectations, the price of this blade should have been around 1200 points. Yet, appearing in the VIP Shop, it was a full one-third more expensive.

"It's a VIP after all; when ripping off custors, you gotta rip off the VIPs..." Bai Mu said.

Despite what he said, he still bought the Shadow-Slayer Blade. If he missed this village, there wouldn't be this shop anymore. This blade, combined with Sacrificial Passage, had truly stalled the flying zombie for up to ten seconds. Even without using Sacrificial Passage, it was a powerful piece of combat equipnt on its own. Buying it was definitely not a loss.

In this way, he now had four sword and blade weapons in his hand. Among them, three were Rare grade equipnt with additional attributes. If others saw this, they would definitely scream 'extravagance'.
