Stopping the feral and one-track-minded Bug Empress has now beco the priority.
Of course, entering the Unstable Heavenly Realm was just as important, but with how determined the Bug Empress was, they’d be hard-pressed to get in there before she could.
Rember, they also had to stop her from destroying everything around her. Protecting the Heavenly Star Chaos Realm was their first and foremost priority.
Alas, it’s not going to be that easy.
The Bug Empress moved like she had nothing to lose. She doesn’t hesitate, not even for a second. She didn’t care whether the area or the people around her suffered. All she cared about was getting into the Unstable Heavenly Domain; the rest are expendable for this goal.
Her strength shook the entire chaos realm. Her feral and threatening presence could be felt at each corner of the realm, causing fear, anxiety, and dread. She didn’t mind announcing her presence to everybody. Why would she? What’s it going to change if they knew she’s here? Could those people stop her when even their sovereigns are struggling against her?
No. They won’t. So why should she care?
To respond to her threat, the councillors had to use more force. But like what’s already been stated, this was no good either. Sure, they certainly could, but just the presence of the Bug Empress alone was enough to shake the entire realm.
If all councillors joined in with unleashing their powers too, it could seriously damage the whole realm, and that’s not sothing they want to see.
Alas, the Bug Empress was really forcing their hand.
"You fucking hag! You just don’t know when to quit!" Patricia snarled.
She has had it with the Bug Empress. She never liked the way the Bug Empress trampled upon their land and scared their people. She’s been holding back for the sake of the rest, but now, she doesn’t want to anymore.
"Pat, be careful!" Nicholas warned, but Patricia wasn’t hearing him.
In a turn of events, Patricia suddenly transford. From soone that resembled a regular human, she turned into a mass of pure spiritual energy in the shape of a woman.
Her body turned ethereal, and her presence skyrocketed. Her body now looked like it was made of the amalgamations of the cosmos and galaxy.
Patricia’s true form was staggering. Her presence stood at the stark opposite of the Bug Empress, only hers felt more secure. She radiated righteous indignation and irritation but also security and stability.
The presence of these two won caused so much disturbance that now, everything happening around this area could no longer be hidden even if they wanted to.
Furthermore, it wasn’t just humans who began paying attention to them.
Another entity has been attracted by the commotion they caused. One whose attention isn’t sothing that either the Bug Empress or the Human Sovereigns wanted to look at them.
"Damn. The Supre Will is stirring awake!" Berk gritted his teeth.
The Supre Will, the collective consciousness of the entire Primitive Universe, is starting to wake up, disturbed by the Bug Empress and Patricia’s opposing auras.
This was not a good thing for them. They’re strong, yes, but not strong enough to defy the Supre Will. At least not yet.
"Shit, Pat! Whatever it is that you plan on doing, you better do it quick. Don’t wait until Big Papa over there cos over and spanks us for causing trouble!" Urek frantically urged as he began pelting the area with illusions and mirages, hoping that it’ll work against the Supre Will.
Patricia heard them, but she didn’t have the ti to respond; she was too occupied with the Bug Empress, who was now trying her best to claw her way through Patricia.
In response to this, Patricia turned into a streak of light and delivered a series of punches to her. Every single punch contained enough strength to basically wipe out entire Cosmic Realms.
The very structure of concept laws trembled in her presence, and they scread bloody murder as she moved. The Bug Empress scread even louder as she was forced to take these blows.
Patricia’s attacks weren’t just strong; they were laced with her hatred towards the Bug Empress. Each punch was murderous, destructive, and filled with her strong prejudice against the enemy.
This intent seeped through the very existence of the Bug Empress, causing her consciousness to blur. It lingered within her body, destroying her from within and refusing to let up, not even the slightest bit.
Each punch she caught with her body pushed her further and further away from her goal, but the Bug Empress steeled her resolve. She dished out just as much as she received.
Two won who hated each other fought fiercely; their might and actions caused the entirety of the Heavenly Star Chaos Realm to tremble ominously as if unable to endure the weight of their confrontation.
"Damn! Damn! Just go away, bitch!!" Patricia snarled as she tried her best to punch the Bug Empress all the way back to where she ca from.
Unfortunately, the shell of the Bug Empress was too durable. All Patricia could ever do was to leave cracks on its surface, ones that nded as soon as they appeared, leaving much left to desire.
While the ladies fought, Urek was frantically putting on layers upon layers of illusion over the eastern side of the Heavenly Star Chaos Realm. He was working overti here, desperate and anxious because the longer their fight went on, the more signs of the Supre Will’s awakening showed up.
Truthfully, Urek wasn’t all that convinced that his efforts would even bear fruit. The Supre Will is, after all, the collective consciousness of the whole Primitive Universe. It’s not so easy to pull.
Even with Gibson’s help, it might not be possible.
Furthermore, the Supre Will isn’t stupid. If it wakes up and learns that the reason behind this commotion was because they were fighting for the chance to enter a place that’s outside of its jurisdiction, the consequences are unimaginable.
Mind you, all of this was happening in a matter of seconds.
Nicholas and Berk were still desperately doing their best to cross the distance so that they could touch the doors first, while at the sa ti, the Bug Empress was being pumled into submission by Patricia, who’s failing in her task.
"GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!" The Bug Empress shrieked loudly.
She released more of her power, all to shove Patricia out of her way to the Unstable Heavenly Domain.
But she wasn’t able to truly get rid of her. Patricia held on, grabbing on to her body fiercely with gritted teeth.
In her haste, the Bug Empress shed the part Patricia held, which turned into another bug who kept her occupied, allowing the Bug Empress to continue chasing.
She also left behind more bugs in her wake. While she couldn’t produce as many as before, she summoned enough to be nuisances.
To everybody’s horror, the Bug Empress managed to break away from Patricia and hurriedly caught up to Berk and Nicholas, who were so close they could almost feel the doors at their fingertips.
However, it was now the Bug Empress’ turn to stop them.
She showed no rcy. She clawed on their backs with intent to shred them apart. Her attacks were ruthless, forcing Berk and Nicholas to defend themselves.
They fought close to the doors, which made them subconsciously weaken their strength in fear of destabilizing the entrance.
Berk and Nicholas were left with no choice but to confront her. Patricia caught up to and joined in.
They tead up against the Bug Empress, preventing her from advancing while at least one of them tried to reach out to the doors, only to be stopped at the last minute by the desperate lady.
At one point, the Bug Empress used slightly more force, which pushed them all back, giving her enough space to do what she wanted.
But just as she was about to successfully touch the doors, she suddenly screeched in pain.
She suffered a backlash, which delayed her long enough for the trio to catch up to her.
The Bug Empress glared at a distance, her eyes landing on Cedric, whose fingers were still smoking after he snuffed out the lingering resentnt on Travis’ body, not only saving him but also causing the backlash that the Bug Empress experienced just now.
It wasn’t just her who noticed; the councillors did too. They wanted to praise him for his tily assist, but they had neither enough ti nor ntal capacity to do so.
The tussle continued, the trio against the Bug Empress, all fighting for the chance to touch the doors to the Unstable Heavenly Domain first.
At one point, another opportunity presented itself.
With the perfect timing, the Bug Empress rode the montum, which brought her closer to the doors; she then shed her carapace, which imdiately turned into another clone of hers.
Patricia, having predicted this, destroyed the clone right away. But what she didn’t see coming was the existence of the tiny creature.
The very sa tiny bug who brought her here hid within the clone that was just destroyed; it rode the montum of the clone’s destruction, which brought it so very close to the door.
The rules were clear: only the species of the sa kind as the first creature who touched the doors will be allowed into the Unstable Heavenly Realm.
Whoever said that it had to be the Bug Empress? It could be one of her spawns too.
The Bug Empress was elated seeing this plan working, and the councillors felt their hearts sinking to their stomachs. Patricia, who was the closest, despaired.
But just as the tiny creature was about to touch the doors, sothing incredible happened.
Swoosh!
In a fraction of a second, another variable occurred.
Instead of the tiny bug touching the doors, it beca Cedric instead.
It happened so fast and abruptly that it left everybody stunned.
