’That fight was mildly disappointing,’ Cedric told himself.
The dude spent the whole fight trying to impress a lady who doesn’t want to have anything to do with him.
Despite his great potential, Pyroblast was a lovesick fool; that’s why Winter played him so easily. It wasn’t even close, to be honest. She never treated him seriously from start to finish.
Leaving the spectating area, Cedric muttered to himself, "He never realized that he was under an illusion since he was swallowed underwater. Winter turned all the liquid into Mirage Waters, which can cause hallucinations. It made him think that she was using a greater form of concept laws on him when, in truth, she’s just playing with him."
"That, and his insistence on evaporating the entire pond he was in, took him too long—so long that Winter had enough ti to build herself a sky castle."
"It was really embarrassing for Pyroblast. Poor guy, this was worse than any form of rejection."
Shaking his head, Cedric decided to detach himself from the second-hand embarrassnt.
He did learn sothing from that match, which was nice. He learned Winter’s neat trick of switching from Ice Laws to Water Laws, one that was better than what he was doing. The better part is that this trick could be applied to pretty much any law with the condition that both laws were mutually synergetic or harmonious.
Cedric learned nothing from Pyroblast. Honestly, his way of wielding the power of fire was embarrassing. Cedric didn’t understand why he was so fixated with ordinary flas, lava, and magma when there were loads of other fire forms out there he could’ve used better in that match. Also, his heat generation and control were painfully slow.
If Cedric was in his place, even if Winter truly summoned an entire sea to swallow him whole, Cedric would’ve evaporated that entire thing within seconds. Hell, he might even turn it against her if the idea struck him at that ti.
There were so many ways Pyroblast could’ve done better in that fight to, at the very least, save himself from the embarrassnt. It’s either he doesn’t have the ability to do so, or he deliberately didn’t use them because all he wanted was to impress the lady.
If it’s the forr, then he doesn’t deserve his rank. If it’s the latter, then he’s a fool. If he couldn’t even understand her body language, how was he supposed to know when to advance or retreat?
Either way, Cedric could confidently say that he was much better than Pyroblast when it cos to wielding the power of fire.

Cedric continued shifting from arena matches to spectating. He spent the majority of the ti like this, and soon, a month passed by.
Today, Cedric was notified that the cruise has arrived at its destination, which was the ’Profound Heaven Realm,’ located sowhere east of the Dark Star Domain.
The crew has given him enough information about the realm and told him to notify them ahead of ti if he wants to disembark for a tour of the place so they can make appropriate preparations.
From their introduction, Cedric learned a few things about the Profound Heaven Realm.
The place used to be just another human civilization eons ago. It doesn’t have anything noteworthy. It wasn’t until a great battle took place in it that the place began to mutate into sothing else.
Information about the battles, like their cause, participants, and so on, isn’t included in the bullet points. All it says is that through these earth-shaking battles, the Profound Heaven Realm changed beyond recognition and has now turned into a popular tourist spot.
Cedric, bored from staying in his luxury room within the cruise, decided to go get so fresh air. The whole reason why he joined this cruise was because it makes it easier for him to see what the Heavenly Star Chaos Realm could offer anyway, so it would be against his idea to not go.
He didn’t need so much to prepare; everything he needed never left his person anyway, so he just needed to freshen up and change his clothes, and he was ready to go.
Cedric had an entourage with him prepared by the cruise’s staff. It was unnecessary in his opinion, but it’s one of the benefits he got as a Scarlet VIP of the Golden Bangle Bank, so he didn’t say anything and just accepted it.
On top of the entourage, they also prepared a luxury carriage for him. Yes, he was truly being treated as royalty out here. They’re not even letting him walk, which kind of defeats the purpose of the tour, but whatever.
Cedric went into the carriage and relaxed. In there, he noticed that the interior of the carriage was bigger than what it looked like outside. Forget about having enough legroom; he could do backflips inside, and the whole thing wouldn’t even feel it.
He also senses nurous protection and anti-spying runes inside the carriage. There were also all sorts of anities and luxury goods inside that he could help himself to if he wanted, free of charge, too.
Even though he doesn’t need it, there is a chanism inside the room that allowed him to see everything around a 10-mile radius of the carriage. There’s also a small map and a clearly indicated route of the carriage on the side, making it easy for him to track its current location.
Cedric doesn’t need this because of his eyes, which honestly work better than these. Forget about 10 miles; Cedric has already seen the general shape and aura of the Profound Heaven Realm even before the carriage arrived there.
It’s going to take so ti before he sees everything in full detail, but not so long that the tour would be over, so really, he didn’t need this map at all. But again, he didn’t say anything. He just left it be.
The Profound Heaven Realm was about twice the size of the Fallen Heaven Realm. It has a ring of asteroids and smaller stars around it, which serves as the ’public zone.’ There were all sorts of rchants and businesses out there, trying their best to make a living from the popularity of this place.
Beyond this ring was the Profound Heaven Realm itself, which was sealed and protected. Not everybody could enter this place.
Normally, one would have to go through layers of security asures just to be granted passage to the realm. Even then, all they’re allowed to do is to tour and ditate inside the place; the length of their stay will also be limited.
But of course, these normal ans are reserved for normal people, and Cedric wasn’t one of those. He didn’t even need to do anything; his entourage just showed the guards sothing, and they were allowed passage just like that, no questions asked, even.
How truly convenient...
Once inside the realm, Cedric imdiately noticed a shift in the air.
It’s heavy, laced with a tension and lingering ferocity. Cedric could sense the long history of strife and struggle in here. He could even see echoes of the explosive battles that took place here through sensing its history.
Traces of those earth-shaking battles were present everywhere. So took the form of scars, ruins, strange zones and phenona, etc. It was chaotic and very ssy, yet sohow, they existed harmoniously even though they should be clashing according to all logic.
This is what made the Profound Heaven Realm unique.
At first, it was supposed to be a burial place. Families of the fallen used to visit this place to pay respects to their loved ones who perished here. Later, it was discovered that there was a strange thing about this place. Many people thought it was a treasure; news of it got out, and this place turned into a battlefield again.
As more people fell here, the Profound Heaven Realm turned more and more strange until the council decided to interfere. That’s how it ended up like this.
Beyond being a popular tourist spot, the Profound Heaven Realm is actually a decent training area for so people.
Visitors could ditate anywhere, and they might find themselves confronting echoes of the fallen here in a dream space. If they could defeat these echoes, they might even be able to inherit or learn so of the fallen’s skills or techniques. They might even get so of their concept law insights—this is what makes this place really popular, especially for younger or weaker Life Evolvers.
Besides, the dream battle itself was a form of training. It’s not much different from participating in a Virtual Arena match, really.
Through his senses, Cedric could see all the lingering echoes nearby. He could see them, but they couldn’t see him. Additionally, he could even tell their specializations and the reason for their deaths.
Most of the echoes he saw were dull, existing only through instinct and such. But there were a handful that retained so intelligence. Those few stayed in their graves, guarding and waiting for the right person to co.
Honestly, Cedric wasn’t interested in any so far, so he asked the entourage to take him deeper into the realm. Maybe he’ll see sothing more special in there.
