A couple of years passed like this...

Cedric sat like a statue within his private chambers, both he and his second clone.

His mind was imrsed in the sea of concept laws, not the sa one from the prison but the raw and real concept laws of the Primitive Universe.

It was overwhelming. It was so vast that Cedric couldn’t even sense the end of it. Everything he knew about concept laws was being flipped upside down, like everything he learned from the start was wrong, and it’s only now that he’s finally getting it.

The experience was very humbling, because he went from thinking that he stood at the peak of the world to being ignorant all along.

Let’s take the fire laws, for example. This was the very first concept law that he learned. It’s because of this that he understood Sunfire and Sunlight, elents that were extrely harmful to demons, and it’s these elents that allowed him to rise above and lead humanity to freedom. Amongst all the laws he understood, Fire Laws was the one he was most familiar with, with Sword Laws being the close second.

But out here? In so unknown corner of this Chaos Realm? He realized that everything he knew about Fire Laws wouldn’t even count as scratching its surface. In fact, he’d even say that, at so parts, he understood it wrongly.

And if it’s like this for this one law he’s most familiar with, it’s easy to imagine what it’s like for the rest...

Fortunately, though, Cedric wasn’t all that incompetent. Even though he turned out to be a re experint, his gifts were the real deal.

His sharp and intellectual mind remains as is. His comprehension didn’t betray him, and even now, it’s working overti to analyze, rewrite, and comprehend everything that he was lacking.

It’s just taking him so ti to do so since it truly was a lot...

What he didn’t know is that what he considered slow was actually quick to the locals of the Chaos Realm, especially considering Cedric’s origins.

To the locals, gaining an initial understanding of concept laws of any form was already a massive achievent. It’s a hallmark that would separate geniuses from ordinary evolvers. Understanding the surface level of concept laws, even at the fundantal level, takes years or even decades to happen, and it’s not sothing that anybody could just do because they feel like it, precisely like what Cedric was doing right now.

They can’t seek it; they can only wait for it to co. If it doesn’t, then it ans that they’re not qualified for it.

If they see Cedric sitting down here and looking at the concept laws like they’ve always been available like that, they’d probably call him a freak or sothing similar, simply because this was highly unusual. They would need to go to so special place to do the sa thing he’s doing right now.

Correcting everything he knew about concept laws to the proper standards of the Primitive Universe wasn’t the only benefit that Cedric received by doing this, though.

This experience allowed him to make up for the deficiencies that he didn’t even know existed. He thought that he was already as perfect as he could be, but out here? He’s far from it.

These changes were happening to him naturally, though. He only wanted to adjust to his future environnt, yet he also received this unexpected benefit. He wasn’t really complaining; he’s just surprised.

He could feel that his mind was expanding to new heights he’d never been aware of. His Chaos Energy boiled within him; his Inner World expanded greatly at a shocking pace. His senses elevated to a new level, so much so that he’s becoming overwheld again by the things he’s noticing around him.

Cedric has no idea if this was normal or not, but he’d make sure to find out later.

There’s actually a strange scene occurring around his clone currently.

Because of the changes he’s experiencing, nurous visions were manifesting around him and his clone. Though the one that’s most obvious was a misty silhouette of a dark golden lotus blooming with him at the center.

If any expert of the Chaos Realm were to see this, they’d most likely be shocked and envious because this phenonon only occurs when one is in harmony with concept laws.

Don’t underestimate this because it held a deeper aning beyond just a visual spectacle. Harmonizing with the concept laws was a minimum requirent to pursue the Great Laws and the Heavenly Laws. This was a sign that Cedric’s talent was so incredibly rare and that if no accidents happened, then he might beco a Heavenly Venerate, at minimum, in the future.

It’s a very rare thing to see. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that only one in a billion people would be acknowledged like this. It’s even more unbelievable considering Cedric’s origins.

Not that Cedric’s aware of it, though. And even if he knew, he probably wouldn’t think much about it. Potential is just potential. It would be better to focus on working hard to actually realize that potential instead of boasting he had it to everyone.

But with this phenonon occurring to him, it ans that Cedric not only managed to succeed, he thrived at what he wanted to do.

He opened his eyes, and a burst of rainbow radiance flashed in them before fading shortly after. As his mind readjusted to reality, he was feeling a massive difference between his previous and current state.

Even though there wasn’t much change in him physically, he beca fundantally different from within.

Now, as he scattered his senses around his ho, he could now notice the deficiencies and fragility of everything.

It would be so easy for him to fix it, and the desire to do so was gnawing at his heart. But Cedric didn’t do so.

The reason was because it would destabilize everything. His ’repair’ wouldn’t be considered natural, nor would it be acknowledged by anything here. It would just make things weird and nonsensical, and he couldn’t afford to do that here.

Congratulations, sir. You don’t seem any different from other humans out there anymore.

’Great. But this was far from sufficient.’ Cedric shook his head. ’I’m so ignorant about many things. I’m going to have to visit the nearest civilization soon’.

I’m ready to give you the coordinates any ti you want, sir. Please don’t hesitate to ask when you need them.

’Will do. But I have another question, one that I only rembered to ask now’.

What is it, sir?

’There won’t be another reset, right? ’Cedric asked, masking his wariness. ’Like, the Primordial Chaos wouldn’t need to enter the cycle of death and rebirth again, right? ’

Oh no, sir. That won’t happen unless you want to do it.

The only reason why the cycle occurs in the first place was to help Odin to understand that cycle of life and death. He set the rules, and I only need to facilitate it.

Once he got what he needed, I barely heard anything from him again. But considering he made for this reason, I continued the cycle anyway since that was the last instruction he left for .

Things are different now, obviously. I wouldn’t restart the cycle unless you explicitly ordered to.

’Good. That’s very good. And no, you shouldn’t do that. If there ever ca a ti that I told you to do so, you are to ask ten tis in a row if I’m sure of it, and I should confirm it without any hint of emotion on my face; that’s the only way you’d know I’m serious and that I ant it.’

Understood, sir. I’ll keep that in mind.

’Now that I understand the real structure of concept laws of the Primitive Universe, it becos increasingly obvious to how flawed and fragile the concept laws of this place are. Though, I probably shouldn’t do anything about it for now, right? ’

Yes, sir. Though it’s incomplete, it functions in a systematic order. Any foreign addition would be treated as a virus or a harmful elent to it, thus creating instability. I wouldn’t suggest doing sothing unproductive.

’And I assu that if I wanted to fix and update it, a reset would be needed? ’

That and the potential risk of exposure, sir.

After all, I would need to open up this place and allow the concept laws of the Primitive Universe to pour in here so that it could do its thing before sealing it away again and going into hiding. I would need to open up this place for at least a decade for that to take place, and it would take even longer before I could restart the primordial chaos.

’Yep, that’s what I thought.’ Cedric sighed.

It truly wasn’t easy. It’s not even an option, actually. Because a reset ans everything and everybody dies. Cedric would be mad if he allowed his dearest family and kin to perish just to make things more convenient for him.

He’s not trying to follow Odin’s footsteps in this regard.

There might be another way, but that’s for the future.
