The days when demons used to terrorize Pri Earth seem very distant from now...so much so that the current generation barely believes that they once walked this world.
And it's understandable, really, because if the Grand Fleet of the Demon Army were to appear anywhere in modern Solaris Pri? They would instantly be annihilated down to the last person. And that's even with the Demon God going all out from the very beginning.
Humanity has moved on so far from that dark history, and they collectively made a vow to never be colonized again. Despite the youth of today being skeptical about the past, those who lived and survived that old era have never forgotten it. It's them that kept the civilization moving forward. Their goal is to push humanity so far forward that no other races will recklessly dare to step into their territory without thinking about the consequences of their actions. They want to be prepared at all tis and secure for any possible event that may happen in the future.
Aside from the tale of demons, the tale of the hero that led humanity to its bright future was starting to fade too.
Cedric Stormrider...that na was known only to very few people at this current age. Even fewer for those who know just how strong he was exactly. His tales have been passed down in history, but most people think that he already passed away. They think so because he has never made a public appearance in the past century. And with how fast things move forward for humans, it would make sense why they slowly forgot about him.
The Stormriders never raised an issue about this. They don't care about fa. They also don't desire to be worshipped like so untouchable gods. So long as humanity is fine, they're more than happy to fade into obscurity and watch as things unfold in their secret ho above the clouds.
But as ntioned earlier, the Stormriders never disappeared. There are a handful of people who knew them and even worked with them closely. And just because they don't concern themselves with the mundanity of Pri Earth anymore, it doesn't an that they're idle.
Their influence can be seen even in modern days. The most obvious one being humanity's freedom from oppressors. If Cedric didn't step forward to carry the burden of returning humanity's freedom on his shoulders, who can say that humanity would co this far?
Aside from Pri Earth, humanity has colonized at least 10 other planets by now. With only a few centuries of developnt, this would've been impossible. Heaven knows just how much effort it takes to terraform and colonize a planet. Hell, humans have only very recently just maximized the potential of Pri Earth; who knows how long it would take them to do the sa for other planets they've colonized so far?
So? Who made this possible? Of course it was Cedric...well, he laid the foundations, at least. He started with three to five planets, purifying their atmospheres and performing so minor preparations before connecting them to a portal to Pri Earth. He left the rest for his people to do.
Just these simple preparations alone would take imnse effort and ti had Cedric left them as is. Doing all of this saved humans a lot of ti, yet because he never cared about fa or gratitude, only a few people knew of his actions.
And of course, the most important gear that truly drove humanity forward, the Virtual Universe, was also sothing that Cedric introduced to them as well.
Knowing that humanity wasn't alone, that there are other species out there with the majority being way more prosperous than they are, and that they're part of a larger community that helped each other to prosper even more lit the competitive spirit of humans up.
Humans have declared themselves as a seclusive race, but they are making a slow but steady appearance in the Virtual Universe, just content to participate in the exciting events and witness the culture and prosperity of others for research.
It was the exposure to this grand and seemingly limitless universe that truly inspired humans, and it's what kept them moving forward.
But despite this, most of them had no idea that it was the nearly forgotten hero, the Sun Sage himself, that brought this to them.
Hell, most of them don't even know that for a race to be acknowledged as part of the alliance, a Cosmic Governor must be elected. They also had no idea that it was Cedric who was their first governor and that he had retired from the position and passed it to his son, Godwyn.
And Godwyn, much like his father, didn't skimp out when it ca to developing Solaris Pri and Humanity.
Cedric started and prepped three to five planets for humans to colonize; Godwyn added another five and did the sa. He even used his rits to buy equipnt that would help to further terraform these planets.
It was Godwyn who sought out people of importance, built trading routes, added more defenses for the realm just in case of ergencies, and placed humanity on the radar by opening up business platforms that the alliance rarely saw, starting with restaurants.
It wouldn't be wrong to say that more people knew Godwyn than his father, solely because he's hands-on as a governor. He personally visits the comrcial planets where their business was built. He roams the alliance to deepen his friendship with other races that he's worked with before, and he also steps forward to protect everything he has built whenever so people try to test the waters.
And despite being busy all year long, Godwyn never neglected his personal strength. Even with his hectic schedule, he reached the peak of the Grand Solar Sage Realm and was at the cusp of breaking through the Transitional Realm.
Right now, he's just deepening his understanding of laws, making sure to pursue perfection instead of swift progress.
Unlike his father, though, Godwyn hasn't entertained the thought of passing his position to another person just yet. He still has so much to do, and he wouldn't be at peace unless he accomplished so of them before retiring. He's invested, after all.

"...as usual, our restaurant remains a hit. Adding the 'Curry' options was a genius move. The Spicy Curry imdiately beca the favorite of the Infernals and Salamanders; with these two races, we've increased our average custor count by 5% throughout all branches."
"The vegan curry is especially popular with nature spirits and the mystic fae, especially the latter, actually. I heard that they're planning on sending an envoy to et with the governor soon, and that might push us to build more restaurants, this ti on the mystic fae territories."
Sobody interjected and said, "If that's the case, let's get a head start on vegan recipes. Given how large the Mystic Fae population is, we better be prepared and show them variety, not just curries."
"Agreed." The speaker replied, "I'll notify the Culinary Masters later so that they can start."
"Don't forget about the Gourt Hunters as well. We need an influx of ingredients," soone reminded.
"Of course, I won't dare to forget about our dear Gourt Hunters."
Inside a private room, a group of humans sat down in discussion. Every single one of these people was a leading figure of humanity's business platforms across the alliance.
So far, the contents of their discussions seem rather mundane, but considering that these recipes and restaurants were precisely the key things that placed Humanity on the alliance's map, they took everything very seriously.
Despite making a public appearance, humanity is still considered a reclusive race. They don't really accept visitors or envoys in their Cosmic Realms. Any business collaborations happen on comrcial planets instead, and those must be attended in person. Of course, Godwyn, as Solaris Pri's current governor, has to make an appearance. Which is also why he's in this room as well.
It sounds rather unserious that, of all the things humanity could get known for, it had to be food. Not strength, not wisdom, heritage, potential, or legacy...but food.
But hey! If it works, it works. And clearly, judging by how everybody in this room takes this very seriously, it is working. Even the Mystic Faes couldn't escape the allure of culinary arts.
Actually, humanity's first steps in the alliance through food weren't so much of a secret. In fact, it is rather well known. There are actually courses now that teach people how to beco culinary masters and gourt hunters all over humanity's territory. So even preferred this path instead of the linear and combat-focused path of Life Evolution, though the two weren't really disconnected.
After all, the ingredients they cook are far from ordinary. Hunting, gathering, and cooking them requires serious skill and strength. That's why it's very common for culinary masters and gourt hunters to be strong individuals themselves.
"Alright, I already heard about the possible collaboration with the Mystic Faes." Godwyn suddenly cut through the conversation, tapping his fingers gently on the table. "Now, how about we move on to other important matters?"
"Is the list for the upcoming Inter-Alliance Youth Competition complete? If it is, then who are the ones participating?"
