Actually, calling it an Inner World was definitely pushing it...

There's nothing there except faint, dark golden hues of fog that contained a prival ancientness. It's unusually deceptive, making one think that it spans very far, when in truth, it does not. There were no traces of life here, and it also has no semblance of order.

What made it special, though, is that this is an independent, taphysical realm that belongs solely to Cedric. Without his permission, nothing can go in or even exist here. It is sothing completely different from pocket dinsions that space laws could achieve because this one holds so much potential waiting to be excavated.

What is even more unique is that the aura of the void was weaved within it. Yet instead of devouring the young realm, as the normal void elent would do, it seems to be fine coexisting with it. In fact, it's even giving up itself, becoming the source of nutrients for this young realm to grow. The void that everybody knows wouldn't do that, which makes this very unique indeed.

It was a miracle, that's for sure. If soone were to tell Cedric that this would be the result of his dance with death, he wouldn't have believed it. This is sothing that one has to see to believe.

The ergence of this unique realm, belonging solely to Cedric, stunned the people who were watching him.

The mont they saw, they instantly realized that it was a unique world that holds so much potential. And while it might still be in its taphysical state, it doesn't seem too different from a real one either.

And to think that this child created sothing like this by refining the Void... how could this not be a miracle?

But beyond that, what truly gripped them was the deep sense of familiarity they felt when they were exposed to it. It shouldn't be possible for them to feel this way, especially since this was the first ti they were seeing this. Yet sohow, deep within them, a resonance was created. It's as if they've known this place all along and had an instinctive yearning towards it.

The feeling was bizarre; they were puzzled why they felt this way, yet perhaps the only people who knew why this was the case were the Chancellors, especially the Wise Dragon Chancellor.

"I see. So that's why? No wonder I couldn't succeed all this ti! It turned out to be like this!"

He's caught between laughter and tears...

If soone were to tell him that this was how he could've traced the footsteps of their ancestors, he most likely wouldn't have believed it. Also, if he was told that a human, a creature that he had never seen nor heard of before his disciple's death, would show him how it's done, he'd probably laugh in their faces.

Seriously, what a surprising coincidence...

If there's anybody who truly realizes the potential of that unique realm that Cedric created, it would be him. After all, he personally witnessed how it was utilized. Stars, suns, moons, worlds, and realms were created simply because of the clash between the ancients.

True, what Cedric had couldn't even co close to what the Ancients have. But at the very least, he has the qualifications to reach that level when the rest, including the Wise Dragon Chancellor himself, don't.

Sigh!

Cedric retrieved his Inner World and sighed. Beyond having a glimpse of his path moving forward, which strayed from the orthodox of life evolution so far, he's just glad that he was able to make it out alive.

He'd have to thank that orb of light. If that had never appeared and fused with him, it would've truly spelled the end for him.

It was only after his fusion with it that he realized that he had unknowingly connected to his 'True Origin,' the very thing that identified him as a creature of the Primordial Chaos.

The speck of light, which turned into the orb of light that saved him, turned out to be Breath of Primordial Chaos that lies deep in slumber within all of its creation. Its awakening was triggered by the crisis that happened to him during his breakthrough; more specifically, it awakened the familiar presence of the Void—its age-old enemy.

That reaction triggered its alertness and instinctual resistance towards it. Yet, just as the Void desired to wither all life into Eternal Silence, the Primordial Chaos desired to give birth to more things to usher the Organized Chaos.

The Primordial Chaos uses the Void to enrich itself, make it more powerful, and make it more capable of creating more. Both of these primordial entities wanted to devour each other to reach their goals.

It's only because the Primordial Chaos parts with a piece of itself when creating things that it beca much weaker than the Void. This was sothing that the Void would never do, after all.

And it's only because its first creations were the most dearest to it that the Primordial Chaos gifted them large chunks of itself that the Ancients had the innate ability to nourish and manifest Inner Worlds like Cedric. Obviously, parting with such large pieces of itself was a huge loss to the Primordial Chaos, and it led to its decline.

But like how the Primordial Chaos gave birth to its creations, its creations also gave birth to theirs as well. And just like the primordial entity, they too left a part of themselves to their descendants.

This was the way of the Primordial Chaos...

The ability to devour the void to refine an Inner World was sothing that Cedric learned when he fused with that orb of light. It's like an inheritance of so sort. Obviously, there's more to that, but the other skills need ti and effort to be processed.

Right now, he's truly glad that he's alive and stronger after this crisis.

Cedric dropped to the ground and opened his eyes...

The mont he did, he was greeted by many faces looking at him curiously. His eyes widened, especially after recognizing so of the faces around. He then looked at his surroundings, which had been seemingly turned upside down as if a storm just passed, and laughed awkwardly...

"Uh, hi...was I the one that made all of this ss?"

**

Cedric was dumbfounded after being inford that an invasion had happened.

Yes, he wasn't the one who created all of that ss, but that doesn't really make it any better. And what timing too. The invasion occurred right after he started his breakthrough. No wonder the void got to him!

Also, it turns out that the Chancellors and so of the Paragons were watching his struggle against the void. They also happened to witness his heaven-defying feat of turning this disaster into a blessing.

He received their admiration, and most likely, they'd want to know how he did this too, most especially the Dragon Chancellor. Cedric had to force him to ignore the heated stare of the guy. He seed to be barely holding himself back from whisking Cedric away to question him.

It seems that he wants his answers soon. Cedric just didn't understand what's with the obsession, though.

Fortunately, the other chancellors held him back. They graciously gave Cedric so space to rest, knowing that the ordeal took a lot out of him and he needs to rest, maybe also stabilize his new cultivation realm as well.

Cedric was thankful for that because he was indeed tired. Stabilizing his cultivation is necessary, yes, but it won't take much effort on his part. After all, his Inner World seems to be stabilizing on its own. Of course, this requires more study for him, but for now, resting was his priority.

But before that, though, he had to take care of sothing else first.

"...I will accept any form of punishnt to atone for my negligence."

Roderika knelt in front of him. The veil on her face was gone, showing a remorseful and ashad expression. It also seed that she wouldn't stop asking for his punishnt to atone for her sins, and she wouldn't accept a simple forgiveness from him.

Truthfully, Cedric didn't think it's a big deal anymore. Yes, she has been negligent, but everything worked out in the end anyway. In fact, it worked out even better.

Had he died during this, at the very least, she would atone to his family. Having a cosmic-level expert ensuring his family's safety and stability was probably more than he could ask for in exchange for his untily death.

'Well, that's an idea...'

Since she doesn't want to simply be absolved of her sins because Cedric was alive and well anyway, Cedric figured that having her guard Solaris Pri to deter any budding threats to its stability might work instead.

And to his luck, she seems to be receptive to this. She was hesitant at first, but when he explained how much he valued his ho, she accepted the verdict.

The agreent is that she would serve as a guard for Solaris Pri for 100 years. Don't think that's too long. Divine Celestials like her live for thousands of years naturally. To her, 100 years was only equivalent to a decade or less.
